  1. Hold your breath. Make a wish. Count to three. I have designed a Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Ideas project, based on the classic 1971 film starring Gene Wilder. It is comprised of 1400 pieces, and includes many authentic (and delicious) details from the film. This includes the iconic Chocolate Room, which is complete with a fully functional Chocolate Waterfall, as well as Wonka's contract room, the factory gates, and a life-sized buildable Wonka Golden Ticket. It would also include minifigures of Mr. Willy Wonka, the five ticket winners, and an Oompa Loompa. 2. Yep, you need an extra carriage to fill with all the inaccurate Cho's we've gotten.
  3. I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to advertise my project in the Harry Potter thread, but I have posted about it in the Licensed LEGO Ideas thread. For now, let's just say that it's based on an IP that I think is a great fit for LEGO, since they both capture the spirit of Pure Imagination...
  4. Yesterday was just a fantastic day for LEGO. We got the Harry Potter set list (including maybe pur first ever set for Deathly Hallows part 1), more news on the Skywalker Saga game, and, on a less relevant note, I finally submitted the LEGO Ideas project I've been iterating on for the last year. I don't expect another day as good for LEGO until we actually get pics of these sets.
  5. I think that something is more likely to just be the inclusion of a new animal mould for Padfoot and a new mould for Werewolf Lupin (be it just a new head mould to go on a minifig torso and legs or an entire new animal piece). I mean, I think a new design of the Whomping Willow would fit the scene much better, and a shop would probably take up too high a fraction of the piece count.
  6. Anyway, I think the main point we can take away from this wave is that LEGO clearly doesn't care about the fans, or else we'd be getting Phase II Cody in the Shrieking Shack
  7. Also, again, while not openly a discrepancy, it is definitely a point in favor of DH that the set apparently doesn't include Fudge, who is probably the most important character to include if we're basing on OotP.
  8. Thinking about it, another thing that could lend credence to the Ministry being a DH set is that it apparently doesn't include Fudge, which would be really off if it were based on OotP.
  9. Wowie, wonder who could have predicted that months ago ; )
  10. I mean, I could see them doing it where the stairs are around the back of the bottom floor (courtyard interior), then the Dark Tower consists of two more modules: one with the Fat Lady portrait and a top module with Sirius's jail cell.
  11. ...Okay, the Fat Lady and an accurate moving staircase could make this one of the best HP sets of the wave- we haven't gotten either of those since the 2004 Clock Tower!
  12. I mean, we still haven't seen if it even is better. And my point was just that I've never cared about the Horntail in the slightest, so one out of minifigure-scale holds no desire for me. I'm glad others are excited, though.
  13. Since the last First Task Harry had him without the outer cloak on, this set will likely have him with it. Either way, this will be my easiest skip in all five years of the theme, and potentially the only one from the summer wave I skip on.
  14. Then the choices they've apparently made with the build and other figures would make total and absolute sense.
  15. It's probably a 24x8 base with the 8x8 Dark Tower in the middle.
  16. Yeah, but I'm saying I expected LEGO to cut costs by leaving them out. It's nice that they didn't.
  17. 1. Take the tower off the top, leaving a flat base with a symmetrical bottom floor and the Clock Tower Courtyard out front. 2. Stack the Hospital Wing on top of the bottom floor. 3. Take the Dark Tower and stack it someplace else (maybe on top of the Girl's Bathroom or Gryffindor Dorms, since those still don't have a top). 4. Prosper. Well, if we're getting Arthur we're probably getting his office.
  18. I'm surprised that the Shrieking Shack includes the full trio, I was expecting it to be just Harry since the other two are in the Hospital Wing. I also hope this time around Sirius gets the Moody hair in dark brown, that would look much more accurate imo (and fit with the Wanted Posters since 2018).
  19. Yeah, I'll bet any money that the Hospital Wing was designed to stack on the base of the Dark Tower set- same width, the DT is seemingly symmetrical, and that fountain goes with the Clock Tower.
  20. Not exactly. It sounds to me like the Dumbledore's office is a module that has attachment points on both the front and the sides, allowing for 90⁰ building, while the Hospital Wing had hinges.
  21. Also, while it's a small thing, I'm so excited to finally get a Mrs. Norris- unironically my most-wanted character since the 2018 relaunch.
  22. In particular, the scene with Luna, Harry, and the Baby Thestral has always been a personal favorite series moment, so I'm super excited to get that as a set!
  23. Idea: Instead of everyone wasting their energy on the one person determined to be nasty just because they aren't getting a wave of 7 differently-priced Death Eater battle packs, lets instead focus on how this sounds like a fantastic wave, full of long-desired locations and elements!
  24. I think you mean THREE surprise film 5 sets: The Thestral Carriage (with Luna and a foal), Dumbledore's office is seemingly from OotP if they picked Harry and Cho, and the Ministry is from OotP.
