My guess is they tried printing her boots on at first, then maybe noticed it looked terrible and decided to just use dual moulded boots which makes the minifig so much better. I like to think the Lego company really loves the Harry Potter theme aha, they design incredible and well detailed builds and pretty much almost all Harry Potter minifigs have amazing detailed torsos and legs etc and new hair and hat pieces last year and this year.
-
Yeah aha it is a bit distracting considering in the film he has a huge bald spot at the top of his head.
-
So some HD close up images of these new minifigs are on Instagram, first time I have seen them but maybe some of you have seen them already: Hagrid's Yule Ball 'torso' print looks incredible, finally we get a new version of Hagrid other than his normal outfit. Fleur looks amazing and I can tell will be a lot of people's favourite minifig in this wave, the dual moulded boots and the hat/hair piece look great and I'm happy Lego decided to add them, does anyone know if her face print is new or if it's an existing piece? The Death Eater as far as I can tell is just a generic person, can't tell if it's meant to be flesh tone printed badly on a black head, or if Lego meant for that to happen. I assume it's not meant to be Lucius Malfoy since on the box art it just says 'Death Eater'. Wormtail actually looks really good, the best version of him so far (except for the hair). His face print is really accurate and will be double sided and I love his detailed suit design and the fact it carries onto the legs. Harry as always looks amazing, just wish he had two red stripes printed on the sides of his legs, so he matches how Cedric has two printed yellow stripes in the CMF but it's not a big deal. What annoys me though is as I have said Madame Maxine does in fact have black hair which is really weird considering she has the accurate dark brown hair in the Clock Tower set. But it's nice that we get a new outfit for her.
-
I think the only logical reason is Lego is keeping everything exclusive, so like you can only buy those CMF versions of Harry, Ron and Hermione in the CMF and that's it. I think the Ron in the CMF series looks more like the Prisoner of Azkaban version more than the one in the upcoming Hagrid's Hut set. My guess is they are not from any specific year at Hogwarts, they are just generic designs of the trio exclusive to the CMF. Fleur having two different head prints is not too bad, I mean both heads look similar enough, but why two different colours for Maxine's hair? Very weird (but it could just be an editing mistake for all we know). That's the same as having Cedric with his correct brown hair in the Dragon Task and then him having incorrect black hair in the Clock Tower set, could you imagine! aha.
-
Not going to lie that kind of annoys me tbh lol just makes both minifigs inconsistent in the same year of release, but maybe the actual part in the box will be dark brown? Maybe it's just black on the set images for some reason, either way if it does come black in the set it can easily be replaced, I'm pretty sure that hair piece is cheap to buy and not hard to find so, but it's still very weird.
-
I could be wrong, it could just be the lighting or an editing mistake, but is it just me or does Madame Maxine have a black hair piece in the Carriage set but then she has a dark brown hair piece in the Clock Tower set? Did Lego make a mistake?

All I can say is I'm just so happy they are doing the Goblet of Fire sets, they all look amazing, some look much better than last year's choice of sets, and hey there may be some minor nitpicks with certain minifigs etc in these new sets but overall Lego has done a great job. The only thing that I think is missing with this wave is the underwater lake task, I do wish Lego made that into a set so we could have all three Triwizard tasks like they did in 2005, but oh well, maybe they will do the lake set early next year? Also, it's interesting how Lego still haven't included a new teenage Ginny Weasley minifig with the mid-legs in any of these sets, but I'm assuming next year she will 100% be included in a Order of the Phoenix set.
-
Here is a question aha who is going to add the CMF Cedric to this new Graveyard set to make the scene more accurate lol, would have to change the face print though to the serious one Cedric uses in the Dragon Task and Clock Tower sets.
-
Makes sense aha at least this brick built Triwizard cup looks much better than the brick built Goblet of Fire in the Clock Tower set lol.
-
Wow I didn't expect these new pictures today! Actually shocked me when I saw them on Instagram... both sets looks amazing, still need to take it all in, I'm happy we have a new Triwizard uniform Harry that matches the Cedric one from last year's CMF. I'm in love with the Graveyard set, it's so cool of Lego to remake the two task sets from 2005, I have always wanted them for so long and I can finally buy them. 100% getting the Graveyard set the day it comes out! The Triwizard cup is now brick built? Wonder why they changed it. That Death Eater looks amazing. I feel like Wormtail should have been given a different hair piece. The carriage looks like a really fun build. Interesting choice how we get Fleur's little Sister as a minifig but I'm all for new Harry Potter character minifigs! Fleur looks amazing, love the hat/hair and the duel moulded boots. At least we get Hagrid in his Yule Ball robes, we can now add him dancing with Maxine in the Clock Tower set!

Kind of annoying that the Sorting Hat is included with that new Harry Potter book, doesn't make it an exclusive piece to the Great Hall set anymore and I wish Harry had a new exclusive black tie uniform, oh well, the first build looks pretty good tbh, reminds me so much of the 2001 Sorting Hat set mixed with the 2010 Freeing Dobby set.
-
I have noticed that the dish piece that shoots out the stud shooter in the Patronum set is the same clear blue with sparkly glitter style as the stag Patronus itself, I love little details Lego do like that.
-
Exactly, no matter how these sets turned out people will either love them or hate them, everyone is allowed there own opinions on these sets, if they don't like certain things that were included/not included that is fine and if there are people like me who will be buying every set in the wave that's also fine aha.

I think maybe you can hide the wing if you angle the camera at the right spot aha, I'm guessing they found that angle to hide it, if not it doesn't matter, they probably did it so it didn't block out anything on the box art, either way the box art looks great.

Some little details I like/found interesting: I love the new design of Harry's Firebolt broom. I have always thought 'Lego should make new broom moulds or Lego should add more detail to the brooms' and here we are, they added an actual broom stand onto the broom, basically the two little bars on either side can rest Harry's legs on, which I think was such a nice inclusion, Lego could have easily skipped that detail but they didn't (they tried to do the Firebolt broom stand in the 2010 Hogwart's Castle using a cone/sloped piece but it didn't work and this version is better). I actually like the small tent build, I love how they represent the different schools by using stickers on the inside of the tent, I also like the little bed build and side table. I love that the golden egg is the egg piece as we expected in a shiny gold colour, it's nice that it actually shines and wasn't a flat gold colour instead. The mermaid stained glass looks incredible and another nice inclusion to the Clocktower set, I also love how Lego used two blue lightsaber bar pieces to represent water coming out the taps. Thinking about it, if you really want to you could pose the Harry minifig with the Golden egg in the actual bath to set the scene lol. I really like how you can spin the minifigs to represent them dancing, a nice little feature Lego added in for us to use, also the build for the two snowy/icy tables with the ice sculpture and the drinks look really beautiful. Overall the Yule Ball section looks fun to build. Obviously, the Clocktower can connect to the previous castle sets from last year which I can't wait to connect together to make an even bigger castle to display. I really love that Lego included the pumpkin patch outside the Hut, they could have easily have just placed Buckbeak on a chain and that's it, plus I love how they did a mix of orange minifig heads along with new pumpkin pieces to represent different sizes, such a nice touch. I don't mind Hagrid's Hut having the back completely open, it matches the theme with the rest of the sets from last years wave where both castle parts have an open back so you can see all the rooms and have easy access to place minifigs. I love the little chocolate frog thrown into the Hut set, once again wasn't really needed but it's nice Lego put that in. Ron's second face looks really grumpy and/or disgusted aha, I think it looks fine if you use that expression for the Yule Ball robes Ron. As some of us guessed there is a stud shooter in the Patronum set, which is a little bizarre tbh, however it does make sense since Lego needed a play feature and it's used to represent Harry casting the Patronus spell and knocking all the Dementors away. Plus the stud shooter is at least brown and blends into the tree well enough so it's not that bad, also you can just take it out.

Finally the pictures are here, they all look amazing! Expecto Patronum: We have all seen this set early, but it still looks amazing for the size and price, incredible value for what you get, not one but TWO Dementors, new Harry and Sirius and a new stag piece in such a small affordable set! Triwizard Task: I am in love, I will 100% be buying this set first out of them all. For a long time now ever since the original set came out in 2005 I have been waiting for Lego to remake the First Task set so I can finally buy and own it, the Dragon is updated but I actually like it, it looks pretty good and it's big enough, I am also happy they included the tent. I love the new Goblet of Fire Harry minifig with that Lloyd hair piece in black and I really love the fact you get all 4 champions in their Triwizard robes in the SAME set. Hogwarts Clocktower: The Clocktower design itself looks great and I love all the individual rooms (even if they are not that big), the Yule Ball area looks really good and I love the Prefects Bathroom and the Medical Wing, finally we get those two rooms in Lego form for the first time! I love all the minifigs included in their Yule Ball robes and it's really interesting that Lego decided to put all four champions in this set as well as the First Task set, except they have different robes, I actually really like the look of Goblet of Fire Ron in this set for some reason, Yule Ball Hermione looks incredible and we finally get Madame Maxime in minifig form. I just wish this set included Madam Pomfrey, but they probably will in a minifig pack or a future set so it's completely fine. Hagrid's Hut: I really like the look of this new Hut, it looks like the best version yet in my opinion, I really love the fact they added the pumpkin patch area from the Prisoner of Azkaban because I loved seeing all the big pumpkins outside the Hut. The new Buckbeak looks great and I like all the minifigs in this set, the new Hermione looks amazing and I do wish we got Fang in this set. Knight Bus: To be honest this set is the one that I will probably wait to buy and get last, there isn't much to say about this set since it just looks similiar to the previous design with the same minifigs, but it still looks great and the minifigs are updated and look much better than the old ones. I do like that the Shrunken Head is an actual minifig head this time around. I sound really excited, which I am, tbh these sets all could have been more perfect sure like people are saying (certain characters should have been included, new Yule Ball dress piece instead of a brick, bigger rooms in the castle, the dragon's design etc), but I am just too excited to nitpick any small issues because I am just happy Lego are still making Harry Potter sets and they haven't abandoned the theme again. All these sets look great and I will be buying them all when they come out to add to my growing collection.

I'm shocked that Yule Ball Hermione still hasn't leaked yet.
-
Will the Harry Potter official set pictures come out sometime this week? Does anyone here have an educated guess on a date Lego might reveal them? To my understanding they revealed last years wave in like early May? If so then maybe the official pictures will be out in a good 2 weeks from now maybe, so I'm okay with only waiting a couple weeks to see actual HD pictures.
-
Lego could include Fang as an accessory for young Harry or Draco in a future CMF series, or have Fang in a set based on the detention forest scene from the first film in a future wave considering he apparently won't be included in this upcoming Hagrid's Hut set.
-
I am even more hyped now after reading those detailed descriptions! Each set has so much to offer in terms of the builds, minifigs and also all the accessories.
-
I'm excited to see how the hospital wing and prefect's bathroom turn out in Lego for the first time.
-
Really? If this is true it doesn't surprise me aha Lego usually adds in play features somehow, reminds me of the shooting spider web from the Aragog set.
-
lol I'm just dying to see pictures of the other sets, hopefully another set leaks in a few hours, really hoping to see the dragon task set next.
-
To be fair Lego used a stud shooter in the Quidditch set from last year so it wouldn't surprise me if they added another in one of the sets this wave lol.
-
The set is honestly amazing, but yeah I noticed the exact same thing, there is something above the Dementor's head on the tree furthest away, does kind of look like a brown owl but it could just be a thicker branch from the tree - maybe a hidden play feature? But if there is a play feature in this set what would it be, maybe its a switch to move a part of the leaves to launch a Dementor into the air? I don't know.
