This is absolutely great. I really like the monochrome of the building being just different shades of grey. The new brick bricks just add that perfect touch to it too. Overall, this is a amazing job and i would love to see it in real bricks.

I also love that mean looking buggy.

I love this. It looks great in tan. The car park is also a nice addition. I think it would look great with the other modulars and in real brick.

Locations at which Lego S@H ships from
The Blue Brick replied to danim's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I always wonder why my purchases are shipped from everywhere. I'm guessing each factory will produce different products and sets? I live on the border of Massachusetts and Connecticut so the factory in Enfield, CT is very close. My sets would come very quickly if they were always from the Enfield factory, but sadly no. -

Great concept. I really like it and would be great as the new battle packs. -
LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
The Blue Brick replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I was thinking the same thing. It could be a cheap $20 set you could use as a fill in. It could come with some extra figs to populate the palace. -
Not trying to go off topic, but Lego Historian. Was that green baseplate with the driveways ever produced. Above it says "New for 1970." Also, what is the best type of paper for printing decals.

What is this minifigure generator you speak of ? I have never heard of it. Is there a link or is it an application for a phone?

Lego Polar Xxpress 2013
The Blue Brick replied to legomilk's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would have to agree with you. I would love a new arctic theme, not space theme. And yes, I would love some more of those hoods in different colors. Ice planet was a great theme, don't get me wrong, but I would really like a more realistic theme this time. Also, we will never be able to escape the dreadful flick-fire missiles or cheesy play features, they're what the kids want. Anyways, I really do hope this new theme will not be so sci-fi, but more of an update of the arctic theme. -
American Pickers go to Tatooine - Episode I
The Blue Brick replied to Brickscape's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
This is great. I watch the show all the time, and they even visited my friends house as he collects old signs and motorbikes. I was told they were great guys. This is a great representation and too funny. -
Okay, now I see it. Its funny because I have the harbor set. I guess I just totally forgot about it.

The set is great for the figs, but nothing else. I love the new sand trooper heads. Sadly, I won't be buying this, mainly because of the price point.
-
This set is definitely awesome and a must have. I do agree the price is a bit steep, but thats Lego at its finest. I also don't like the new Gomorrean Guard as it does look too detailed, but still better than the old one. The set looks great overall. Also, am I the only one the loves all the vibrant colors on the box art.

I always loved the large Lego figures. I really wished they would make one a set. The Plo Koon ones does look very cool nonetheless.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
The Blue Brick replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
According to The BrickShow, Lego has sent them an email confirming that the rancor set will be able to connect to Jabba's Palace. I know we already knew it would most likely be able to connect, but now we have official confirmation. I do still think it will look a bit off with the tower unless you disconnect it. -
I actually really enjoy more variety when it comes to heights of buildings. I try to incorporate this into my own layout when I can. IMO, it can look a bit off when you put the Town Hall next to a park, but it can make it more realistic. For example where I live. there will be a be a tiny plaza with a statue or even a small basketball court next to 4 to 6 story buildings on three sides. Doing this with Lego can make it seem unnatural, but also more realistic at the same time.

Modular Madness: London Row Houses - CR#3
The Blue Brick replied to brickcitydepot's topic in LEGO Town
These look great. I would love to see a whole row of these in all different colors. I bet it would look amazing. Great entry, and good luck in the contest. -
I'm loving that bridge 'LT', and its not even done yet. I can't wait to see it finished. It will be awesome. I want to build a bridge of my own now. Also, what is that large piece you are using.
-
I also now agree with you. TLG doesn't want to show all of the minifigures at once eh. Hopefully this means we will get an Aquaman and Manta set. I'm guessing it will be around 20 U.S. dollars just like the Superman set as I doubt they will be in any other sets for this wave.

Awesome large scale MOC 'SamBo.' I really love the color you chose. Very noticeable. Great MOC overall.
