  1. This is the only one that I knew because they said it when initially shared the news about the LUL. Pity, I built a lot of sets XD
  2. Thank you so much for sharing their criteria :)
  3. I agree, TLG has no intention to stole ideas but wants to collaborate. The risk comes mainly from other AFOLs or brick companies. I heard that a guy shared his building instructions about a technic car (I think it was a Pagani Zonda but I'm not sure) and a Chinese brick company stole it and produced sets without permission and giving him nothing. Just out of curiosity, will you present an idea to the Lead User Lab? (If yes don't write it! Haha)
  4. That's interesting :) Did someone present some new ideas?
  5. I didn't know that Lego did that. I don't undestand why they attack fans for such these small things :( About the "radical ideas" that Lead User Lab is looking for, it comes to my mind only sets lighting
  6. Have you been to the Skærbæk Fan Weekend 2019 where they discussed the Lead User Lab?
  7. Thanks for sharing! I'm very excited of this new platform :)
  8. Ok thank you for your answer :)
  9. Thanks for your answer :) You can see my 4 JP contest entries here if you want: https://ideas.lego.com/profile/Ian Malcolm/entries#/?query=&sort=top I published them only when I was sure I couldn't have improved them and when I was really satisfied with the result. My goal wasn't to publish more entries to get major opportunities and to sacrifice the quality of them. I started with putting 100% effort in one sumbission, and then when I finished it, there was still almost a month to the end of the contest. So I built my second one, and so 3rd and 4th, but I didn't sacrifice quality for quantity :). Not to sound presumptuous but I think I deserved a prize, I can't believe that the cake-triceratops beat my entries :(
  10. Yes you are right, and you're not the only one that thinks it. The reason for this is that bricks are expensive and not everybody can afford bricks to build an idea, so Lego wants to give everybody an oppurtunity by allowing digital creations. For me it would be fair to do separated contests for real build and digital builds, or at least to reserve one prize per contest only for real creations cause they are the minority. Said that, I think that I will not participate other contests in future. I entered 4 high quality entries in the last Jurassic Park contest and I'm a little frustrated to see the winners, it's just a waste of time.
  11. Does anyone have more information? If I'm not mistaken, the Lead User Lab should have opened on August 1st. I'm really interested in it, thank you :D
  12. Thank you very much for sharing! :D
  13. Hi! This is my biggest and most difficult project, it took me months. Could you please help me to get 10000 supporters? And do you have any advice on how I can reach that goal? I'm sharing this everywhere but with bad results :( https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b24a4152-5341-4eb6-8634-d33e5e46ecf9
  14. Good idea, I will update it in the future :)
  15. Hi, I'm proud to present you my latest project, it took me months. You can support me on LEGO IDEAS, and you can share it, you would help me a lot. If any of you have visibility, please, can you help me reach 10000 supporters? Thank you :) - (other pics at the link) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b24a4152-5341-4eb6-8634-d33e5e46ecf9?
  16. I made these 2 posts with the attachment, I deleted the photo from both them, but in the scetion "My Attcahment" it is still present
  17. Hello, I can't delete an old attachement. I went in "My Attachments" but there isn't the "Delete" button. I tried to delete it direclty from the post where I inserted it but nothing changes, could you help me please? Thank you :)
  18. I just finished the project, you can see it here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Mbrick/my-page I hope you like it!
  19. Thank you very very much Calabar!!! Now it works and I can continue the project! THANKS AGAIN!!!
  20. In my experience I shared about 15 MOCs on Bricklink, Reddit, Eurobricks, Flickr, Lego Ideas, Facebook Groups, Instagram ecc. and I was very frustrated, nobody viewed them. I thought that my creations weren't liked. The fact is that everything goes only around visibility, and not about the real quality of the creation. I tried to make a test, I spammed (I know it's incorrect) one of my creations in the comment section under a post of a big page and in one day I received circa 100 likes, with people that complimented me and told me that they would have bought that MOC if it was on the market. After that brief moment of visibility I'm still ignored by everybody, with the mass of people that are attracted by big page/users that are growing up like black holes. In this system it's impossible to emerge without the help of some of these "black holes" who took advantage of the internet and social media when they were just born. PS. in this site i did't notice the "black hole" effect, unlike all the others. In my opinion this is a very good community, maybe with less interactions and reactions/feedback compared to other "communities", but I have always found people willing to help. It's genuine.
  21. I agree with you. The amount of effort put into a creation would never be repaid, even if there are actually a lot of people that would buy that creation. I personally tried LEGO Ideas but after weeks/months I found that it's a sick system, based only on promotion of your product and not about the real quality of the MOC. There are creations built with a very high quality and hard work that have few hundreds of supporters. On the other side there are normal creations that esaily reach 10k supporters only because the creators were able to promote them in every possible way. (The last example is Museu Nacional - Rio de Janeiro that get 10k supporters in few days, and in the worst of the cases he would get a 500$ prize to spend on Lego store, or maybe - I don't think - he could get the 1% of total sales of the product if Lego produce it). About crowfounding I discovered that before this new opportunity given by BrickLink, someone tried to use another platform: Kickstarter, to finance the entire project. I mean not only the bricks, but also instructions, packaging and delivery. I remember for example two guys that tried to launch on Kickstarter a very well done project about Apollo 11. They obtained some money, but not enough to start the project. I hope that in the future there will be more opportunities for the creators :)
  22. Thank you very much technicmad!! Now it is available, I hope that Calabar is able to fix the LDD problem now :)
  23. I uploaded it on https://bricksafe.com/pages/Mbrick/ but I can't have access to it, maybe you have
