Dursley’s in CMF replacing Tonks and Kingsley (and someone else for Dudley) and tbh, whilst I agree they might not be as highly detailed, I don’t necessarily think they need to be that detail, sure Kingsley needs a new hat, but aside from that they could definitely do them in a set ?

Yeah, I mentioned earlier that it was on a designer’s Q&A but I couldn’t remember his name (thank you for reminding me, lmao) I think there are more important characters needed in a set like that than Voldemort and a Death Eater, like we definitely need a plain clothes Bill Weasley (mention plain clothes because a wedding set is possible) and Mundungus (unless we’re getting Grimmauld Place in which he could come)

True, I hope that it happens because there are characters in that set that would be ideal to get there (Dung, Bill, DH Weasley twins) and I’m actually the opposite, I wish Privet Drive had been OotP or DH, I know it would’ve meant we wouldn’t get Kingsley or Tonks in the CMF, BUT I would happily sacrifice them in the CMF to have gotten them in Privet Drive

I hope it’s not, I’d love to be able to get it, but what set could it really come in now that we’re getting the Dursley’s house this year, it appears in 2 major scenes at 2 major locations and we’re getting both of those this year lmao (Dursley house 1 and start of Battle of the Seven Potters and Burrow end of Battle of the Seven Potters) unless we get a BoSP type of battle pack a la Star Wars battlepacks with a few builds and an exclusive Moody (no Crouch Jr face) and a few others (maybe Mundungus) ah, explains why I hadn’t noticed, I stopped watching him a while ago The grand tower? The tower in the Great Hall set?

I have my sets up against a wall so no light gets in anyway ??, BUT, I do have my sets displayed from the back, so yeah, I was wrong about it being better ? I love both front and back of Hogwarts, but I’ll always have it displayed to show the interior, the only exterior thing I really have is the Hungarian Horntail grasping the top of the Clocktower

That is a fair response, and I completely get it, I just like the fact it’s a full building, for display it sucks (as it does with the Haunted House, it looks dumb) now that I think about it I don’t actually think it’s that great of an idea lmao ??, I think I just liked the look of the Haunted House all closed up from the front, doesn’t really make for that great of a display with figures ? Yeah, it was one of those “I wish we’d get it, but I know we never will” type of things, bit like 2x2 Anglia or Hagrid sized Sirius’ bike I never noticed that when I used to watch, but I’ve just watched all his Monkie Kid reviews and I’ve noticed it quite a bit tbh

Normally I would agree, but other leaders have done things vague without doing stupid riddles, it’s definitely a power thing, “I have the power so I’ll do it how I want”, anything to do with Riddles with always remind me of the Riddler and he does it because of a power/superiority complex, I’ll never see riddles any other way ah, that sucks, I didn’t know that, I’ve only recently gotten back into watching Lego Reviewers, I’ll definitely have a look at Jeremy Herbert, I like J2G, but he does seem like his reviews are occasionally kinda childish, Jang is deffo my fave tbh I hope so, especially whatever the unknown set is, I’m less interested in DA because of the price, no doubt it’ll be worth it, but it’ll be a while before I buy it ?

I second this, streets are nice, but more accurate buildings are better ive just watched Jang’s review of the 2020 Haunted House and I love that concept, the full building and it opens on hinges, I’d love something like that for the HP sets, I think it would’ve worked really well for the Burrow and they could definitely do it for Lovegood cottage!!

Ooh, goodo (I forgot they were called Technic pins, that’s why I described them as “monkie kid/Hogwarts” ??), best thing about Technic pins is they can be removed if not being used ????

Personally I’d rather it be like the last Diagon alley, all on their own separate base plates because then you can display them on their own (I don’t have the space for big buildings all together) but I would love if they did a thing like in Monkie Kid sets/Hogwarts, give them connectors so they can be moved around

That’s the issue, are people really interested in a car that is only in 1 film (out of eight) for about 10-20 minutes of said film ?, it’s the type of thing I would LOVE to MOC, but I’m terrible at things like that, haha, I don’t actually think the Joker’s Low Rider sold all that well so I’d be surprised if they did more cars of that size There are so many things I’d love to get that I we ever will, and some things I know we never will ? For me personally I’d rather have no info because I don’t like riddles, I don’t feel they really add anything (except annoyance on my part) I think someone said there was info from elsewhere earlier on (I’ve only been back about a week so can’t clarify that) but I think for him personally it’s more of an attention thing like “ooh, I have info so I’m gonna screw with people by making it as vague as possible”, just annoys me is all ?

That’s intriguing, I look forward to building and comparing the 2 together ? on a side note, I’m the probably the only person that would, but I’d love to get a Ford Anglia similar to the Joker’s Low rider from TLBM, inaccurately sized to the other sets, but can fit 4 minifigures, 2 side by side front and back, just like in Chamber of Secrets, could give us exclusive Fred and George and could also come with Ron/Harry or without so we can do something with our spares lmao ? Hmm, interesting, I’m still gonna get it because I want the house, haha, but I’ll probably leave the Anglia either unbuilt or have it in a box somewhere and have the Dursley house as an OotP display for my CMF Moody, Kingsley and (rumoured) Tonks

Could even see if anyone is selling an incomplete set with just the WW, I’ve seen a couple in the UK selling incomplete HP sets with certain parts of a set, someone was even selling the full Flying Anglia for £0.95 because it’s coming out again ?? speaking of the Anglia coming again, is it an updated model or built exactly the same, I’ve looked it over several times on the Lego site (the whole Dursley house is my most anticipated set apart from the Burrow) and it looks the same, but surely it won’t be? ??

I used to be the opposite, but then I collected DC superheroes sets which were mainly all vehicles but I actually love the Ford Anglia irl so it was ace to get it, just annoyed we’re getting it in 2 sets when one of those sets could’ve been sooo much better from either OotP or DH pt 1 for me my least favourite set from 2018 was definitely the Quidditch Match, it’s the only set I wouldn’t get if I wasn’t getting every set, I loved all the others, just wasn’t fond of that one (I actually had to google “LEGO HP 2018” to see which sets came out in 2018 and 2019 ??)

I personally feel that the big thing for the Willow set was the Ford Anglia and now we’re getting another in the Dursley’s house, so I’m kind of annoyed at that, but I think the rest of the set is good, especially as it adds to the main build of Hogwarts, plus I’m always happy to get more Snape minifigures ?

I don’t even see the riddles until mentioned on here as I don’t follow him, so I’ll go and check it out and every time I’ve just been like “uh-huh, another one then” and then just left it lmao ?

I completely get that, I get that most people enjoy them, but not my thing personally I definitely recommend getting all the 18-19 sets, I have them all and they’re amazing I’m the same, I don’t want to burn out in hopeful potential clues and them end up being false, I saw so many people do it last year that now I’m in the same position as them I can’t be bothered with speculation and I’ll just wait until official announcements ?

I get that, but I hate things done in riddles, if you know something, say it, if you know nothing but pretend you do shut up, if you know something but can’t say it directly, don’t say, proper drives me insane it does my head in that much that whenever I reread the Hobbit I skip that entire chapter ?

100%, it worked back in 2011 (the older version of CMF series 1 Luna) because they didn’t have the skirt piece, but I agree they should use them, does it cost more to print onto a skirt rather than the legs? ??
