  1. I never go to Intertoys, first of all my local store closed recently and their lego is sometimes even pricier than at lego themselves. Also, in most Dutch stores the sets have been out since May 31st so I guess they are late again (wouldn't be the first time!)
  2. After seeing how accurate this set is I think it would be good to discuss its accuracy and especially its relation to all the inaccurate sets we're getting. This set only comes out a few months after the movie and its a lot more accurate than most marvel sets we get (even though the Captain Marvel set was decently accurate). I'd personally prefer future marvel sets to come out a few months (even a half year to a year) after the movie comes out for more accuracy. If they take this route they could make some comic sets based on the characters featured in the upcoming movie to release alongside the movie, then we could get the actual movie sets later so they can be a lot more accurate. What would you guys think if lego were to take this route? You wouldn't be the only one rioting, I think most people here (me included) would join you. Also, which leaker said this?
  3. The torso is definetely reused, but for the head we can't really say for sure untill someone reviews the set
  4. I just asked my friends which 3 buildings from Diagon Alley they would choose for a big set (take in mind they aren't fans of the HP franchise). Their picks we're Gringotts, WWW and Ollivanders (or in their words: the bank with the dragon, the wandshop and the Ginger twins' shop ). So if their ''general'' opinion is anything to go by I don't think a D2C would work without the most iconic buildings
  5. Pretty sure the torso is from a Resistance (or Rebellion) pilot from Star Wars, not sure on the face Finally they do something good for Marvel and it's a SDCC exclusive, I thought LEGO was done putting exclusive minifigures in SDCC sets?! Last years SDCC sets were actually great because of the absence of exclusive figures. One of the more painful things is how this suit for Captain Marvel was actually heavily requested by fans. Also, the reveal of this Kree-suit figure makes the reuse of the Captain Marvel figure in the CM and Endgame sets even worse! Why not put Kree-suit in the quinjet set, normal suit in the Avengers Compound and reuse the Kree-suit for the CC exclusive?
  6. Luke's Homestead would be great. My favorite thing about LEGO Star Wars are the location based sets so that would fit in perfectly (don't get me wrong I love the vehicles in Star Wars but the lego versions just don't really appeal to me, mostly because of the price)
  7. Isn't that just the TIE Silencer from TLJ? That would be pretty cool. I really like the architecture of Galaxy's Edge (at least as far as I've seen on YT video's), it would be pretty cool to get some of those buildings as sets
  8. If they ever revisit Diagon Alley for a big set I think it's most likely for it to be a facade street containing upscaled versions of the buildings included in the microscale GWP That would work very well but maybe it would be better for them to be around 60-80$ standalone sets that can be connected instead of modular buildings. The most important part of the shops are the buildings itself so I wouldn't mind to get facades if that means the sets will be a lot cheaper.
  9. I don't think that will ever happen. The Harry Potter calendar was only made because the theme did very well and you can't really say that about the Marvel theme. Most sets are shelfwarmers because 90% of them are very inaccurate or just plainly overpriced. As long as lego keeps the quality seen in Marvel sets (in both figures and setdesign) as low as it is I can't see the theme doing any better in the future, and therefore not getting an AC
  10. The Clocktower is indeed located behind the Great Hall in the films. But for this lego configuration adding it to the right of the Whomping Willow section does look a lot better. The configuration is definetely weird if you compare it to the movies, so I'm definetely glad I'm building Hogwarts more like I imagined it in the books with a little ''movie flair'' sprinkled in. I also hope B&B will be a standalone set, the inclusion of that shop kinda throws me off when I'm looking at the original DA set. You can't really create a proper Diagon Alley with only 2 buildings. Just to note, I didn't skip DA back in the day because of B&B's inclusion but more because I wasn't into Harry Potter yet. As for the Room of Requirement. I think it's most likely we'll get the DA form next year and the Room of Hidden Things form in the DH wave. That way they can focus on Dumbledore's Army for next year and the other set would be focused on the hunt and battle for Ravenclaw's Diadem, it wouldn't be that hard to sneak the Vanishing Cabinet into that set!
  11. Galaxy's Edge has some kind of different version to his TFA shuttle, maybe it's that ship? Haven't really been keeping up with SW lately
  12. You sneaky ninja! I was just about to link it Really looking forward to the speederbike, hoping it will include the new Poe and Finn figures!
  13. Even if they eventually make the Greenhouses in a set I'd really like Sprout to be a CMF figure. She desperately needs a brand new hat/hair-mold and the chance of her getting exactly that is way higher in a CMF series than a normal set I'd say they're doing the same with this set as with the Clocktower. The Clocktower is a PoA building with a GoF interior so it wouldn't be out of the question to make the Astronomy Tower a HBP building with a OotP interior. Besides the obvious things with lego avoiding deaths in sets I'd say OotP also has more interesting interiors to recreate.
  14. There is still a lot of things they could give us. When talking about structures the most significant ones we're still missing are the Astronomy Tower, Greenhouses and the Owlery. But they could always give us random castle sections with some of the many interior spaces we're missing like the Chamber of Secrets, Girl's bathroom, House common rooms/dormitories, Umbridge's office, McGonagall's office, Slughorn's office, Divination (Trelawney and Firenze's classrooms), Transfiguration, History of Magic, the Library, Room of Requirement (both DA and "garbage'' versions) and many more. Besides that by the time lego is done with most buildings it's already okay for them to rerelease some structures like the GH so this theme has the potential for a very long lifetime
  15. The original T-Rex model was just something a Creator designer build for fun and he put it in his workspace for a couple years. The JP team saw it and saw the potential the model had as a set
  16. These upcoming 3 sets are the last sets as far as we know. There could ofcourse be another wave but there is nothing pointing to more sets atm
  17. They were always stickered in previous sets but I don't think Advent Calendars have ever included stickers, we'll see I just got the Suitcase 2 days ago. The figures aren't really anything to write home about but the Fantastic Beasts themselves are, well, fantastic to say the least. The suitcase itself is pretty cool too but I'd rather have gotten a more significant inside instead of the whole ''turn-into-a-suitcase'' feature, even though that feature is very cool and designed perfectly
  18. Although both FB sets are pretty great sets
  19. The odds we get one this year is about -100000000%. We already know about all the CMF's we're getting this year, but as the first one did very well I'd say its definetely on the table for either next year or 2021. Bu since the first series coincided with CoG there is a big chance the second one will be released alongside FB3 in 2021
  20. They could've at least given us a hairpiece for McGonagall instead of her hat
  21. According to the wiki Hogwarts was designed by the Hogwarts Architect and Rowena Ravenclaw. After they finished the plans the Four Founders where the ones to actually build and open the school I also don't really care for Dumbledore and McGonagall, mostly because I bought 2 copies of the GH to make one bigger model. The rest of the calendar is actually very nice, I'm already looking forward to adding all these little builds to my Hogwarts MOC
  22. His Yule Ball outfit is actually the same as his CMF outfit (maybe some very small differences) Also 2 questions: 1. Is that new printed tile Harry's Hogwarts letter? 2. Does anyone know what the calendar will cost?
  23. Zusammengebaut just showed the calendar. Spoilers ahead:
