  1. It's not going to be a named clone though, Stonewars made a mistake when they were writing the article. It's a colored clone trooper, not a named one.
  2. Sadly lego tends to ignore games. Maybe not for Avengers but Spider-Man (PS4), LMSH and LMSH2 had a ton of awesome things that could've been sets
  3. Pretty much, but as long as lego doesn't officially reveal the set the price could end up being higher or lower
  4. That's the thing, looking at wether or not you like the look of the Star Wars helmets gives a pretty damn good indication of wether or not you will like the Iron Man helmet. As long as people stick to these helmet sets this discussion is Marvel related
  5. Most likely the same as the Brickheadz set
  6. Any of those would probably be $200 at most
  7. This is marvel based...... we're getting an Iron Man set build in the same way the Stormtrooper and Boba Fett helmets are. The reveal of those 2 sets shows us what to expect from that IM set
  8. Not necessarily, lego skips setnumbers all the time
  9. Not what I said. You put them in a updated setlist while they are just guesses, that is exactly how false rumors start EDIT: didn't see @Balrogofmorgoth's comment before posting so it's sort of a double post
  10. People are dismissing a microscale version because: 1. We already got it (though a bit smaller) as a GWP 2. A true microscale Diagon Alley wouldn't be nearly as interesting as a microscale Hogwarts 3. A microscale Diagon Alley wouldn't cost anywhere near $400 unless they plan to make it half Diagon Alley / half London
  11. I would remove everything you've written between the () thingies, forgot what they're called again. There isn't really anything that hints towards them so they are just guesses and thus don't really belong on this ''updated set list''.
  12. You do realise you are pretty much saying to everyone that your opinion is a fact right? LEGO has nothing to gain from lying to us about their sales
  13. It would be really cool if it's basically a minifigure-scale version of the GWP, that's kinda the best case scenario imo. Though whatever it will be (if it exists) $400 is going to be a hard pill to swallow I love big sets for themes I really love but I was kinda glad I had no interest in the nano-scale Hogwarts set
  14. Back of the book said something along the lines of ''explore diagon alley'' I understand if you have a private source and can't disclose specific details, but this isn't the first time someone ''had a source'' who gave him/her secret info and turned out to be lying. I'm not jumping to conclusions in saying you're a fake but not having anything to back these claims up does make it hard to believe you. But I guess it's just a matter of time before we'll see wether or not the set exists.
  15. The only proof he has given is the back of the Tom Riddle book. But those books, while being from lego themselves, are proven to be unreliable when it comes to future sets. I don't have anything against the guy (if he reads this), but he doesn't really offer us much to believe his statements/info.
  16. Am I the only one here wondering why we're discussing Marvel sales in the DC thread?
  17. If this is real that would be awesome but unless a reputable leaker backs this up I'll remain sceptical. Maybe @Falconfan1414 knows something? If it's a $300+ it's definetely minifigure-scale. Besides already having a (close to) micro-scale Diagon Alley I don't think there would be any appeal to such an expensive DA micro-set. I don't know what other people think about it but if it costs ~$350 and is in micro-scale I would skip it in a heartbeat.
  18. That's not what I'm saying, not even close. The Stormtrooper doesn't look the greatest, that we can agree on. But saying it's a disgrace is pretty much the same thing as saying the designers need to be ashamed of themselves for designing that set, which is a bit harsh imo. That's why I said you and I probably couldn't do it better, which doesn't even come close to saying you can't critise it because you can't do better. Human beings put time and effort into designing this, there is no need for them to be ashamed of themselves just because someone (in this case you) thinks it doesn't look good.
  19. Agree, at least that saves me some money on those 3 sets
  20. I wasn't interested in them anyway but somehow these sets still managed to disappoint me. They just look really off to me, but at least the boxart looks really good! Completely agree I think saying it's a disgrace is a little harsh. I couldn't do it better, I'm assuming you can't do that either
  21. Even if that was true (which I highly doubt) it would barely make a difference. The only people who would buy sets just because a theme is a bestseller are the small amount of AFOL resellers. And an evergreen theme doesn't necessarily have to be a bestseller every single year.
  22. Nope, LEGO really crushed down on the leaks from retailer catalogues. They made it nearly impossible for a retailer to leak something without LEGO finding out which retailer is guilty. Not that it really matters, as it wouldn't have any pictures of the HP sets anyways (just black boxes)
  23. I actually kinda like how we don't know anything about that one april set. Kinda changes things up instead of always knowing what is coming months in advance. It's not something I'd want to happen for all sets but this does keep discussions alive. There wasn't much to be secretive about with LEGO's Endgame sets, none of the sets had anything to do with the movie (except for maybe the 4+ police stati.... I mean Avengers Compound)
