LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
lego_guyon02 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I bought the Silent Mary too but never regretted it one bit. Even though the movie ended up being really disappointing the set is still beautifull and one of my favorite sets in my collection. Too bad I can't say the same about some other sets (including Star Wars).... -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Leaks are unreliable but we'll most likely get setpictures in the last week of april like last year (or earlier if a store puts them up early) -

Yeah it's really annoying. I just expanded Hagrid's pumpkin patch for my Harry Potter display but now I just need pumpkins and orange minifig heads (''small pumpkins'') to finish it up, both of which are sold out. Guess I'll just have to wait for them to become available again Luckily I have enough to do and that pumpkin patch isn't really a priority thing -

Lego produces their sets all around the world (a few examples: Denmark, Hungary and Mexico). That's how their products are available all around the world (and shipping too ofcourse), the China factories are just the factories were the employees apparently steal pieces more often -

If you want those figures/sets it's not really a waste is it? -

I believe it was late february or early march. But if the other themes are anything to go by it looks like lego has crushed down on factory leaks as well this year. Either that or its because of Covid-19 and most factories in China being closed (as that's where most leaked figures come from) -

At least there is an upside to it. If you only buy Star Wars and don't like this wave you'll save money to buy more sets in the future (like the august sets) -

Idk if we saw TIE pilots in ESB. I meant to say it makes sense for none of these helmets to be prequel-based as it's ESB 40th anniversary this year -

You were comparing CMF production to that of a set, specifically a D2C. Obviously those have different production patterns like leaks have proven time and time again. And for someone who says that I don't understand your posts you don't even seem to understand mine. I didn't say CMF3 production would start in late-may/june because figure production starting in those months happened before, I guessed so because the DC CMF started leaking 2/3 months before release. And there's no need to get hostile as soon as someone disagrees with you Back to topic -

The DC CMF says otherwise. And comparing setproduction to cmfproduction is like comparing pears to apples, not the same But this production discussion has barely anything to do with HP so we should go back to topic -

Bricklink is a good site, but sellers like the one with 1338 pumpkins are incredibly annoying if you're trying to buy stuff off B&P. I get it, a Bricklink store is a business, but is it that hard to leave some for other consumers and not buy such a ridiculous amount of one piece? -

A CMF that goes on sale in september doesn't start production untill late-may/june though (judging from factory leaks) -

Itaria is one of the most reliable CMF leakers out there. He also just said something about lego having renegotiated the marvel deal and CMF 3 possibly being MCU related -

These choices make sense when you take the 40th anniversary of ESB in consideration. Also, what is it with people misspelling Grievous as Grevious all of a sudden? -

I actually think the august wave is pretty good. I'm excited for the Razor Crest and Night Buzzard (though I might wait for a discount for the NB), the other sets I might buy but that completely depends on the minifigures. -

This is the first Star Wars wave in a very long time where I don't even have the slightest bit of interest in any of the sets -

I would personally skip every single comicbook character but there are a lot of characters from that MCU list that I would LOVE to see. My top 10 out of the ones listed (not in any particular order) would be: Peggy Carter, FFH Spidey, Alexander Pierce, Kaecilius, Odin, Stan Lee, Luis, Red Guardian, Whiplash and Stealth Suit CA. IF this rumor turns out to be true they could give us so many characters/suits they haven't made yet! -

So that's the last april set right? Kinda disappointing but at least it saves me yet another 70 euros, April wave is kinda trash imo -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
If this is true I would really hope it to be from the MCU, possibly with a few figures from AoS (the other shows aren't that interesting imo). Would be a great way to get figures for characters they skipped numerous times like Odin and Peggy Carter -
I'm a little 50/50 on this as well. This could end up being an awesome theme if they do the license justice but if they don't this could end up being really, really bad. I'll be cautiously excited It's not, the US price for Series 20 is already confirmed to be $5. Also, it looks like a lot of people are forgetting the EU price is still 4 euro, so the price itself doesn't rule out a CMF

This could work very well as an upscaled version of the GWP. Every building on a seperate baseplate (with a piece of the alley in front of every store) and the ability to connect them with technic pins. Would also be pretty cool if they actually used those alley parts for even more decorations like lanterns, stands, signs and maybe the golden statue in front of Gringotts. Figures could be anything, I just hope they don't include the trio -

They'll have a hard time selling such a set Jokes aside I think people in general are just buying less Star Wars sets because of the high prices, I definetely am. Its like most licensed themes have pretty much retained the same price-level for the last few years while Star Wars has been jacking them up like their lives depend on it -

No, this D2C can easily stand on it's own and would kinda accompany the new wave of sets. But we literally just discussed this
