  1. Am I the only one who thought of Oolong from Dragon Ball when I learned of this?
  2. I can't believe this is actually going to be a thing. As a lifelong Mario fan, I'm hyped. I'm a little surprised that this is the "Leaf" theme and not Monkey Kid, but I'm not complaining. And if LEGO is going to make Mario sets, this has to mean K'nex no longer has the license. I didn't know about the LEGO and Nintendo debacle in the 80s, though. And I just realized something interesting. Today, when the teaser was made, is March 10, aka Mario Day (Mar10)! My wallet is ready. August, here we come.
  3. I was skeptical about the claims about there being a Super Mario theme, so I checked for myself, and sure enough... If Mario is finally getting a LEGO theme, this means K'nex must have finally given up their toy license to Mario. Interestingly enough, sets 71374-71377 are no longer listed. Even with the leaked figures and logo, was that something to throw us off the trail? Or could this be for something smaller, such as the theme codenamed "Snowflake"?
  4. Do we actually have any proof that Monkey Kid is going to be an AR theme? If it is, then I think that Hidden Side is a guinea pig for this theme, just like Ultra Agents was a guinea pig for Nexo Knights.
  5. CMFs were my first thought when I saw it. The LEGO Movie had them, but this theme is looking more like Chima and Nexo Knights, so... it's probably something different. For the record, I don't see any similarities to Elves.
  6. According to StoneWars.de, 71361 is listed as a "Blindbag".
  7. Okay, I just read through this entire post, and I must say, the logo is really giving me Dragon Ball vibes. Both this theme and Dragon Ball are both derived from Journey to the West, and when you think about it, Goku was a monkey kid, as is the main character of Monkie Kid, or so we can assume. If this theme is what I think it is, how similar will it be to Dragon Ball? I'm thinking the original Dragon Ball, not Z or Super. Also, Harkonen quit Eurobricks because he thought he was being called a liar, and has therefore deleted several of his posts. Take anything he says with a grain of salt. Here are set prices converted to USD: 71360 - $59.99 71361 - $3.99 71362 - $39.99 71363 - $19.99 71364 - $19.99 71365 - $29.99 71366 - $29.99 71367 - $29.99 71368 - $69.99 71369 - $99.99 71370 - $9.99 71371 - $9.99 71372 - $9.99 71373 - $9.99 Set lineup looks pretty standard for a big bang theme, but what intrigues me is sets 71370-71373. I would assume these are similar to the Battle Suit or Speezorz sets from Nexo Knights and Chima respectively, not being part of the main lineup. Here's something else that's interesting. On this German site, an additional four sets (71374-71377) are listed, but no prices are known. https://www.stonewars.de/lego-2020/#lego-8222leaf8220-2020 I know this was a long post, but I had a lot to say.
  8. Was the original speculation for Leaf that it was going to be a Bionicle reboot or otherwise another constraction theme?
  9. Or what about remakes of other Toa such as Vakama or Jaller?
  10. It will have been seven years since since the release of Mindstorms EV3, which in turn was released seven years after Mindstorms NXT. I'm beginning to see a pattern...
  11. EDIT: The "Snowflake" set is numbered 51515, not 50505. Also, I miscounted the "Leaf" sets. There are eighteen instead of seventeen, confirming the 4Chan user that @PenPlays quoted. The fact that the first set ended in 0 threw me off. (I started typing this before PenPlays replied.) This is sounding more and more like a BIONICLE reboot. I'm inclined to believe that the six medium sets are the six main Toa (Tahu, Kopaka, etc.), and the six smaller sets are similar to the Protectors and Elemental Creatures we got. Also, the fact that I didn't know about the four additional sets until just now probably cements the fact that this is BIONICLE coming back for a third wind.
  12. I just found a German website containing many 2020 LEGO set leaks, even more than JediJACPenguin, my primary source for leaks. The results I found were astounding. There's no additional information on "Zebra" or that girls IP, but there's apparently a new theme coming codenamed "Snowflake", which contains just one set: 50505. Now here's the kicker: the theme codenamed "Leaf", which I've had my eye on for a while, is going to have seventeen sets instead of fourteen as originally listed. Here's the aforementioned website so you can see for yourself: https://www.stonewars.de/lego-2020/ Thoughts?
  13. So DOTs is going to be a bracelet line?
  14. 41975 is one of the sets in AL/DOTS, right? Look what I found: https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-41975-41975-Childrens-Toy-Colourful/dp/B07FNRDHKD
