  1. Like I said, it does clash with his old look. His theme doesn't look like Pohatu or a toa of stone as we know it, because as you said, he doesn't have much brown. I still don't think the amount of silver is that bad though. What I meant was that even though he looks quite different, I do like his silver. I think it looks rather good. A lot of people seem to dislike it because it's so different from his Mata form, or because it means we get less brown shells (which is understandable).
  2. But doesn't Pohatu have trans-yellow bones too? Those are new, so why wouldn't they have made tan shells too? Also I think it's more likely that they use pre-existing dark tan shells, rather than make a new color. Also personally I think Pohatu's silver looks quite good, although it definitely does clash with his old look. I think the silver legs would look odd with both arms being brown, sort of like shiny pants, and he already has some brown on his legs. I think his weapon and the preliminary stamp kind of hide the brown parts and make him look a little more silver than he really is.
  3. Wow, there sure has been a lot of discussion going on! I'm personally excited for boomerang Pohatu, I feel the weapon fits him pretty well, although it would have been nice to see some boots as well. Is there any speculation on what the defenders are meant to be? Matoran replacements, or something else? I dealt like since they all had the same head and no names, that they're probably more than one of them, like the bohrok. That 'flap' is actually present on all the Chima Speedorz boxes where the cardboard is folded, which means we will probably be seeing that used rather than the foil bags. Good job noticing!
  4. He looks alright, but I'll probably just get it for parts. The set definitely doesn't lack in good parts. Thanks for the review!
  5. I think they did t=it this way as a marketing tactic, so when people got the cheaper set (the one more likely to be purchased) they can get the most expensive one to go with it.
  6. I'd like to join this, I've always been into reviewing sets, just haven't posted any of the reviews.
  7. A Half pin with stud on the first rod, and the second rod goes in the plus hole on the rifle . I believe it stresses the elements a bit, but I don't really mind. And thanks everyone for all the positive comments!
  8. Great review Blackknight112! I thought the set was a bit lacking though, the front 'wings' were quite hollow and small compared to the rest of the ship. The figures were kind of a let down to. And the price... where I live it costs double what it's worth IMO.
  9. Just bought an Imperial V-Wing fighter. The 2nd LEGO Star Wars wave is out here in Australia, but I'm gonna wait for the mid-year 'Christmas' sales to get them, as the prices are shocking.
  10. I like this version better than all the official sets.
  11. Great Review Masked!
  12. I will definitely be getting: Waspix (I love those printed armor parts) Fangz (Trans Neon Orange!) Rocka XL Bulk 3.0 Stringer 3.0 Rocka 3.0 (for parts)
  13. These are great! The possibility and detail of these figures is just fabulous.
  14. One of my better HF MOCs... Jacob Viper 2.0! I based him off of a design I had made with the Hero Recon Team Hero Creator. I explored some techniques that were new to me in this one. I also added some extra parts to the back plate idea I've seen going around. You can see it more clearly in this video I made. C&C is welcome!
