I like the last one the best probably. But I didn't think there was a problem with the original. nice work .

Right now I cannot access LEGO.com. My local time here in the UK right now is 10:37. Can anyone get on right now?

A Lego Board Game
Skipper 24 replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The game sounds great fun and looks well designed. Also those cards look very professional . I can't wait to try it. -
On all MMOGS I have played on there is nothing wrong with noob. I think there should be separation but LEGO should block some words any way to keep a safe clean environment.

Review: 7979 Castle Advent Calendar (First Look)
Skipper 24 replied to brickbitz's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It looks pretty good. I really love the Jester, and all the little models included in the calendar although I will probably get the city one. Great review. -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Skipper 24 replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I was about to post this but you got to it just before me. You can see the rock monsters much better in the actual magazine unless my screen colour settings are just really dark. I think they will be a bit like the Yeti from the orient expedition sets just different colour and mould. -
I got mine in the UK today too. Those Power Miner monster preview things look really weird.
-
It looks pretty nice, I asume they both wouldn't be in the same place because one is a dark side lightsaber creator is it not (it is red)? But what is a SM film? Also a bit off topic my computer loads them pretty quick and resizes them to 25% because my screen is pretty small.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Skipper 24 replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
They look ok I guess, I quite like the lime green as I think they will look better than these actually do. Is it me or are those the old technic figs? -
You shouldn't order parts unless you actually have the set and need them. That is basically stealing.
-
Anakin should have a back pack of some sort probably like the old pirate ones which the imperial soldiers had. You could just make the boarding ramp for the shuttle at the edge of the scene as well.
-
I never thought f that But I guess that's what it is for unless it is for a trailer.

Review of 7670 Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid *Updated* Theme: SW Episode II / Clone Wars Parts: 249 (- figs) Figs: 4 Price: £20.00, $20.00, ‚25.99 Year: 2008 I think many people were deterred from this set because of the low piece count and a high price for it although it does come with 4 minfigures. 1. Overall set and figs Official box pic. This indicates it is a Geonosis set from the background but it is no different from any other set same old brown separatist ship/s. The whole set. Some red tan droids would have been nice like in the Geonosian fighter set. All the minifigs. The super battle droid body is slightly different to the one in the BP. It looks more grainy and silver. I doubt this has any relevance for it being a geonosis set but I like them better how they were in the BP's The Super Battle droid body dwarfing the commander droids body. I think that the new Commander droids body is better than the old one with just the yellow strip even though it is less accurate. New twisted Battle Droid arm, each droid has one of these. I don't really like having droids with these new guns I think the older guns suited them much better. 2. Hailfire Droid Hailfire droid by itself. It is certainly smaller than the original. Seeming as this is the main part of the set I was hoping it would be bigger but I don't mind it being this small too much. Wheels and rockets can fold outwards and inwards The wheels which spin round two large clear discs and made from loads of these tiny links. This is probably the best way to make the wheels on this small scale. The only other alternatives I can think of are using the tracks from the Wookiee Attack set or catterpilla tracks, both of which wouldn't look right. One of the missile pods. These use the new flick-fire missiles which don't fall out are an excellent idea. They should have come with the purple cones like on the Magna guards staffs instead of red though because in the film the missiles are purple. One of the new flickfire missiles that don't drop out when the model is tilted forward. I don't know what the holes in them are for though. The 3 "eyes" are made up of 2 trans red cheese bricks for the sides and 1 trans red stud for the center. You can also see how the missile pods are attached to the side of the body. This is the back of the Hailfire Droid. There is a plate with a hole in, I have found only one purpose for this. The Hailfire Droid is the Commander droids war chariot! What do you use the plate for? 3. Spider Droid The Spider Droid. The design has been greatly improved from the Wookiee attack set. Not only is it more accurate but also more poseable which is useful when setting up battle scenes. The ball joint provides the place to put the antenna which isn't long enough but the dome form the old set looks more like the droid form Star wars Episode II. The eyes are made of a telephone piece with 2 trans red studs on. In the original it had orange studs. The eyes can be seen in action 2 pics down. I told you it was a telephone. 1 of 4 identical legs. These are very easy to adjust into what ever position you want and are much better than the originals. But a word of warning never pull them apart as I did they become very loose when put back together so I put some blue tack in the holes. 4.Overall Build: 7/10 A little to repetitive for my liking. Minifigs: 8/10 4 figs for £20 isn't too bad plus they come with new guns. Design: 9/10 Both vehicles are very well designed but the hailfire's small size let the set down. Parts: 8/10 Comes with lots of useful (maybe not ) Brown track links. Price:7/10 Not too bad with 4 figs and loads of little brown links. Playability: 6/10 Not to much on it's own Overall: 7/10 If it came with some clones and tan red droids it would be better. Afetr Jar Jar wiped out a small droid patrold he realized he was being watched Mesa in big dodo this time...

6457 Astronaut Figure review Theme: Space port Parts: 17 (- fig) Figs: 1 Price: $2.00 (I don't know prices in any other countries because I got this as a promo in the UK) Year: 1999 Brickset Peeron Brickshelf Bricklink Ever wanted to go on a space walk across the moon, to fix a stranded satellite or just for plain fun . You now can by using the irresistibly fun Astronaut's space pack. No minifigure can resist a journey out to LEGO Space Port to go off blasting across the stars... This Astronaut came from the first and realistic space theme (I think). Their vehicles loosely resembled the equipment that astronauts use today. I got this set as a promo form Little Chef in the UK. Official pic 1. Manual This is the manual cover. The manual is folded up to be quite small like other impulse sets. Although I can't show you box still quite a bit of box space was wasted. These are the instruction pages. You can now build it your self although you could have just got the instruction of the internet if you really wanted them . On the second picture you can see the alternative model. I'm not quite sure what that is meant to be though. More on that later. 2. The whole set This is the whole set. Small isn't it. As you can probably see the gold visor is bigger than a normal one also if you look carefully you can see mine and the cameras reflection. I think using a visor this big is great because the normal ones are just to small for the job. Although the visor is big it can still fold all the way back which is a major plus to this set. I think Staudie has been playing dress up. Here is the minifigure without the big helmet on. I like it because it has the Space Port logo on and is fairly detailed, notice it shows where the helmet screws on like on a real space suit. Obviously that's not really appropriate for the included helmet because that big get covered up by the front plate on it. This is the back pack. It has a detailed panel which I think looks more like a time bomb than some advanced space exploration equipment but oh well. It also features a shiny gold 1x2 grill. This is the alternative model close up. I'm not sure what he is meant to be doing but it looks like he is fixing his pack or something but the pieces are all rearranged so that wouldn't make any sense. My own rendition of it. It wasn't hard to make . 3. Overall Build: 6/10 Pretty simple nothing to special. Minifigs: 9/10 A different torso print would have been better. I think there were only 2 different astronauts torso prints in the theme, a male one ad a female one. Design: 9/10 This is very accurate scale wise to the sort of stuff astronauts use today. But it has it's own design which is nice. Parts: 8/10 Comes with a big shiny gold visor, a shiny gold grill and the "time bomb control panel". Price: 10/10 I got it as a promo so it was free! Playability: 6/10 Nothing much to do by itself it should have come with a asteroid which had many appearances in the other space port sets, then at least you could play asteroid miner. Overall: 8/10 It should have come with an asteroid so you could do some exploring but when combined with other space port sets it fits in very well. The disadvantage to having a massive back pack when you fall over near a moon bear.

2872 Witch and Fireplace Review Theme: Fright Knights Parts: 18 Figs: 1 Price: Unknown (BrickLink $5.00+) Year: 1997 Brickset Peeron Brickshelf Bricklink Ever wanted to turn into a animal, wanted to curse your enemy or just wanted to be rich beyond your wildest dreams. You should go visit the Witch and her Fireplace. She can brew you up a potion for any occasion or purpose. So head down to see the Witch right now. Although this set is from the Fright Knights theme it can easily fit in with any other castle theme due to the lack of specialised Fright Knight parts and printings. The set comes with no astounding parts but looks like the source for our good magician impulse set from the current castle theme. I think I got this as a promo set. Official Pic. The box art for the set has the standard Fright Knight background and lego system logo followed by the set number. Down the left hand side of the box a cat is attempting a head stand. Also I think this box display the contents of the set in an attractive set up as usual. 1. The whole set minifigs and all Here is the witch. On the torso there is a spider amulet which is a little hard to make out due to the low res of the image. The Witches wand is the same as the Bellville fairy wands except in trans red like a lightsaber blade although it is completely useful as a lightsaber. As you have probably noticed the witch has no legs instead she has a slope brick with the dress pattern printed on witch (get it witch-which) looks better than Asajj Ventress' from the new clone wars sets in my opinon. (for this anyway) The Fairysaber (new word) duel. This is the old run down fireplace of the Witch. At the base there are two smouldering coals instead of fire witch (it's not funny any more is it?) doesn't make that much sense seeming as it is a fireplace. The little triangular brick on top doesn't really do anything I also accidentally put the wrong one on while building, it should be a sloping brick. Here are the coals. The old trans orange studs are less translucent than the new ones. I like how they have places them above the main baseplate on a 1x2 plate so they are in line with the rest of the fire place other wise it would look wrong. Here is everything else I haven't covered yet, the crystal ball, the pets and the magical potion vial. The crystal ball is identical to the one included with the Good Wizard impulse form the current castle theme. I like the molds for the cat and the bat although if the cat had some yellow printing for the eyes like the white cat had black for the eyes it would be much better. I think the trans green tube things are a little uncommon but I'm not worried about that. 2. Overall Build: 6/10 Extremely puzzling and difficult do not attempt alone . It's pretty simple but seeming as it has a load of stuff you can move around it is good. Minifigs: 9/10 I really like the witch and it couldn't have really come with anyone else also it came with the wand which is really good too. Design: 8/10 It should have come with some fire and maybe some more orange bricks to put at the base. Parts: 8/10 The minifigure isn't bad nor are the animals or the trans green part. Price: 10/10 I am guessing this was pretty good. Seeming as I think I got this as a promo I gave it 10 because it was free. Playability: 7/10 As wth all impulse sets there isn't much here but at least it comes with some animals to have a fight with or give the witch rabies. Overall: 8/10 If it came with some more stuff for the fire place and the cat was more detailed it would have scored higher but because this set can easily be intergrated with other castle sets it got a mighty 8. 3. Mini comic ! Hocus pocus magic shocus turn my pets into dinosaurs (not to catchy is it?) *Poof* Oh know I think I might drink my magical potion glug glug glug Oh! my

You can buy small hand held vacuum cleaners for about $20.00 then you can just go vac them all up. And afterwards if you really wanted to you can let them go again out doors buy opening the vacuum bin part up and tipping it outside but no doubt they will come in again. It is much more fun to leave a bunch of spiders inside and watch them eat each other.

Link isn't working. what what was on it anyway, I didn't really get it.
-
It was a hard cape and not as big as the the cloth ones only going down to the end of the torso.
-
Macro usually has a little flower icon. It is useful for taking close-up shots .
-
Looks excellent as always. Is the helmet one of the new phase 1 helmets with the top crest thing cut off?
-
This second installment is excellent. I would like to see some new vehicles from you in this fleshies v yellow. I am working on my own right now. (you did say we could make our own in part 1 right?)
-
The pictures are way to big. You should resize them better re-size them to at least 800x600. ( It says in the rules )
