Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Skipper 24 replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
This et actually look pretty good. I love the green and the carriage, the detailing is great. However on the front of the engine the 2 black sticking out parts and really doing it for me, all steam engines that I have seen with those on have them extending to the bottom of the boiler. Anyway it looks pretty good to me.- 559 replies

If it was all one colour scheme and less jumbled parts it would be better but from personal experience I know that can be hard. besides it looks like it is coming along nicely already. Great start, hope to see it completed .

This is some great art work. Even if it is inaccurate colour wise it still looks really great.

I have a complaint about boxes, when I received a large set recently (7676) the postage cost me £5.25 (standard delivery) which was reasonable I guess considering it was mailed by a private company. However the packaging box was at least and extra half the length of the LEGO box on each side of the packaging. Why have so much extra packaging space? Also the parts inside only filled up about 2/3 of the box so a reduction could have been made there too. Sorry about my rough explanation, it was pretty hard to try and explain my experience .

Wasn't the AT-RT driver meant to be Neyo? His body markings were the same I think? Also Commander Bly has been done with the BP and Turbo tank.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009

Just a quick question, who are the big rock mosters? By big I mean the big lime green one and the red one. What pieces are used for the CC spikes on his back? or perhaps they are moulded on to him but to me it looked like separate pieces. -
A great MOC. using the knives as skates looks really good. Great job and congratulations on winning .

Yay I found my post! Some nice punctuation in there . It was in the Star wars forums in a thread entitled 'Poll: 10179 UCS Falcon Review'. I wrote it in April 08 however I joined EB in August 07 which means it took me approximately 9 moths to write my first post which surely is a record. I don't think I ever introduced my self, perhaps now is a good time. Hello, i'm Skipp....

I really love the Germans plane now however does anyone think Indy's dad's machine gun on the biplane is a little large. Mola Ram's headdress type thing looks pretty accurate to the game, I hope they paint it before the final release.

Thanks for the Galactic Marine, it's really great. Revan and the Sith commandos look really good too.

Well I haven't got the AT-TE so I haven't got a Rex but the index at Peeron shows that the head should be like that Rocon.
-
Well that's a shame . I was looking forward to trying the game out but I guess now it will be even better when it comes out, if it ever does. Where the pics on the link in game shots?

Does the drop ship count as UCS? It is a #10000+.

The different prices on LEGO in the US vs. Europe

Please excuse this post, I moved it because of wrong topic . -
Oh man I have no idea . Is there a way to check or do you guys just have great memories?

Well apart from the obvious shop@home, I can only think of is Amazon, Tesco or Argos non of which have the Solar sailor stocked or on their product list. I guess you're stuffed unless you live near a lego store or have a local shop near by. It isn't exclusive though so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Argos has the RGS for £58 and AT-TE for £51! Link

Clear Pic of the New Agents Armor

I think plain grey is best. It sort of looks like a bullet proof vest, one that the police would use. It could come in handy for police MOCs that way. -
Besides if you tried to flick them I am pretty sure you a) would smash your fingers trying to hit the little blighters and b) would knock the entire wing section off as you get so furious from missing you flick too hard. Well maybe a slight exaggeration but those missiles are gong to be hard to hit, not a very good playability idea there LEGO.

Earlier today the republic drop ship didn't have a UK price, well that's now up,

Apparently a code was issued at the LEGO world event in Denmark to get a special badge on MLN. Did anyone get the code? How do you use the code? Mod: Please lock/delete this topic unless anyone wants to discuss.

I get the icon on Firefox although it is against a white background and IMO transparent would look nicer if possible.

Oh well it was worth a shot, I guess it is pretty hard to describe minifigs without images.
-
Well I haven't got the AT-TE (yet, I probably will to go whit the new LAAT/c), but I think the AT-TE probably has more playability because it is a ground vehicle. However the RGS has more unique/rare figs. So it depends whether or want the set for the figs or playability. I got the RGS because I like the design better too. (it has less gaping hoples in )

Available March! This sounds great although if I get it it won't be till the second half of the year. Has a lego set ever been on coming soon before?
-
I had a quick look at this well compiled list and I couldn't find the minifig included in this Space Port set. if it's on the list where is it? (it's really obvious isn't it )
