The details and scaling on this model are just amazing. It's great on how close you've kept to the original design of the ship. As other have said try reducing the space between the nose and wings it looks a little to broad. Great work .

Nice MOC Legorski! It's really simple but fits perfectly to the back story.
-
Wow, this is a nice piece of work Stanley Kbrick! I really liked seeing how you've given the MOC two layers, one above and the other below the water line. Look forward to seeing this blogged @ Classic-Pirates.com's frontpage in the near future!

Thanks for the link Mörs. From a recent program watched I believe this is a remade/remastered old LEGO commercial.

Thanks for the english catalogue pic Nintha. The set doesn't look all that bad, the wheels might look good for a hovering effect. The new Barriss minifig doesn't look too bad either, none of that scary cartoonyness I think.

Steaming hot water hurts bricks?
Skipper 24 replied to Jack Bricker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I haven't heard this before but I could see it happening. Heating the bricks in water will most likely make the plastic more malible and prone to reshaping. The bricks may reshape themselves a little and make them less 'clutchy'. -
I agree, especially if it has a load of details, greebles and what not and is shaped correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if Lego released a whole line of Midi vehicles now! I could just see them with all sorts of fighters designed as display models.

Thanks for the pics! Are there any bigger shots of the sets on further pages? I'm looking forward to more pictures, especially Star Wars .

What, this is real? Nice one Admiral, the map, toilet roll, mythical brown piece of paper with squares on is coming a long nicely.

Are you kidding me, that's my closest Toys 'r' Us! I'll be down there right away.
-
Haha love it! Not 100% accurate for my weather conditions but the temperature seemed about right, brrr!
-
You can try gently squeezing either side of the clip back together. You may want to soak these in hot water for a while in advance to get the plastic a bit softer and less brittle and likely to snap.

Alright guys, I'm coming forward with the truth. Classic Pirates has planned another contest. The image is indeed part of a mysterious map. Pieces were due to come out periodically. When pieced together the secret of the contest would be revealed. The contest would majorly be a publicity stunt promoting Classic-Pirates.com, and the members could come up with a new stylish avatar image. But I guess we're rumbled!

Great, thanks for the news! I'm still not 100% believing this but I really do hope its true.

Some good new ideas coming in with these LEGO games. I've never actually played any of the current series of these LEGO games but I'm sure the rules fit well with the themes. Shave a Sheep looks hilarious!

LEGO Collectible Minfigures Series 1 Poll
Skipper 24 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just had to choose #15. I mean a Lego Wrestler, awesome! And just for a minifig he looks great detail wise. -
Of course not, no .

Wow, neato find Woodhouse! Treasue, hmm? I wonder what this treasure could be if there be any.

Nice idea for this thread Darth Legolas . I prefer the 'dot eyes', they give the minifigs more character and make them look better. I have no problem with mixing these minfigs in as most of the time I'm looking top down not at their level. Even when I do noticed their faces up close I have to problem still, I like the diversity.

Oh, guess we can still blog it!

Nice idea Ratshot Some nice architectural work going on. Look forward to see it on the Classic-Pirates.com frontpage in the near future!

Love the new pics KimT! Wampa Cave: Wampa , one Rebel pilot as suspected(makes you my the BP), Snowspeeder looks fairly similar to previous releases, no Tauntaun (lego being sneaky again to get you to by the corresponding set) Slave 1: Much sleeker curved design, Newish Boba with mini cape, new Han Solo(?), Bossk (yellow guy?) Palpy's Shuttle: Looks pretty big, Clone Pilot, no Shock Troopers, Palpy, Vader and a new med droid! Greivous SF: Ugly cockpit and wig design , a new set of minifgis! Plo Koon's starfighter: We haven't seen this design before have we? Turbo Tank: Lots of figs, Aayla & Cad Bane (both new), Better design to the original, new huge wheels, AT-RT!

Have you seen the more recent boxart picture? It has a swamp background.
-
Awesome, thanks for the new pics! Swamp Speeder looks really great and it includes Barris, a new Jedi. The new clone print is pretty neat too. Just one think I noticed is that the seats on the speeder aren't set how they were in the PT, they are now behind the grey 'wings'.
