Thank you very much; Brinklink and eBay have been handy barometers for open complete sets but can’t see a factory sealed one. Perhaps there’s not a huge difference between the 2 in which case I’ll probably keep this if the circumstances allow. Mind you, have a few other things to sell and I don’t want to part with those much either! Thank you once again.

Hi All, i’ve been lucky enough to have been given LEGO since I was a nipper (the vast majority of which I still have) and I still buy the stuff today! I’m also quite sentimental and struggle to part with things I’ve had for a long time (had this since I was 7) but sometimes needs must and I need to generate some funds for some bills that will be coming my way... A bit of background; I actually received 2 of these Castles in 1978 or 79 and my parents let me open one and put the other ‘away’. And ‘away’ it has been for the best part of 40 years - factory sealed and completely unopened with the plastic cover still very firmly attached at every point. If I did part with this do you know roughly what it would be worth in today’s marketplace and where would be a good place to sell? If it is not likely to be worth much then I’ll find something else to part with, but I don’t display this piece so it seemed like the logical place to start. Thank you very much for your time.
