Hello everyone. I've uploaded a video on vimeo.com showing off how the Emerald Night is built. Also, some photographs were made during the process. I hope you like it, it's dedicated to our spanish LUG, 'Hispalug'. Video: http://www.vimeo.com/4476189 Video with english subtitles: This One Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/julencin2000/...57617352496381/ The train was built this way: first the tender, then the car and finally the engine. The building guides are numbered to build first the engine then the tender and car, but I think it's better my way ^_^ Enjoy, and all comments are welcome! Edit: oops, I had a mistake in the title, it's 10194. Can I fix the title of the post?

Thanks for the early review, I think this set is really affordable, very good ratio price pieces. -
These space hinges were widely available in Pick'a'Brick of Legoland Germany this summer. Every implementation is welcome, of course ^^ Nice model, I like it a lot.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
julencin2000 replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Color scheme of vehicles: I like it. Color scheme of minifigs: they look like "community workers"; don't like it. Pieces: I like the variety. Helmets: horrible U.U' So, we'll see, but perhaps it is going to be another galidor or so. One year and... -
Raffle time me too!! ^.^

Another LEGO storage question...
julencin2000 replied to WhiteHexagon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I do not use this technique because if you keep them stacked for a very long time, bricks loose their 'tightness" (don't know how to say it in english); into piles or into MOCs, it's the same. -
What I really love is the perspective: look that ship, in the horizon, so far and small ^_^ Congratulatios!!

Croc is not in the same league. So, between lovely Super Chief and BNSF, I get SFSC. Mainly because it was part of one of the best train sets in history (well, separate serial number sets but a whole thing nevertheless) that was 10020+10022+10025. And of course, color scheme and design: I love the detachable roof, BNSF is only a green block in comparison.

The different prices on LEGO in the US vs. Europe

Those official explanations doesn't explain why Amazon shipping is so cheap compared to Shop @ Home shipping. In case of Spain, Amazon.de ships for only 6 euros. S@H doubles this quote. Why? -

Well done! -
Saw it in Nannan's gallery; it's beautiful, so great idea to bring back Fabuland characters into these sceneries. Congratulations for both the Fabuland revival, and for this fantastic vignette.

Thanks for the comments, you are right: legs are skinnny and the chest thing is too blocky T-T It's hard to keep it standing. I'm very critic with all my stuff ^_^ so sure I'll design a new one. (by the way, \(^.^)/ I'm indexed!! ^_^)

Thanks for all your comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've uploaded a short video showing the transformation:

Here is my entry to our contest in Hispalug, "one set one MOC". We have bought one 4939 and we've designed several alternates model. This is mine: He is called 'conflict solver' because when a conflict is beginning (like who's first in this crossroad), one pushes the "SOLVE button" and... The conflict: Why are you called conflict solver? I see: Gallery with one more alternate, and our contest topic.

Beautiful rendition of the original, you have catched the color scheme very well, and the overall design is fantastic. I like a lot the detachable roofs. It would be nice to see it running ^^
