Remember when the D2C Hogwarts was first revealed and some of us (myself included) complained about it because it was a different scale and we wanted it to just be the rest of Hogwarts at the regular scale to go with the Great Hall and Whomping Willow sets? I’m so glad it ended up being what it was. The set is beautiful and perfect as a stand alone display. Getting new sections of the castle at a regular scale every wave is perfect and it’s one of the best parts of getting new sets. It’s a great system and they have so much material to use for years because of it. I can’t believe I wanted it any other way

While I agree with you completely about the obnoxious and juvenile behavior, I would really love to see that happen. But it could just as easily happen in other sets and then everyone is happy and Lego isn’t catering to specific demands

Taskmaster should have a printed shield and a dark blue hood. Other than that I think this is a pretty solid set. I love the other two figures, and even Taskmaster has good face and torso printing. I’ll probably supply him with a bootleg printed shield that will inevitably be made. I do wish we could get Red Guardian as well, I know he’s gonna be my favorite character in this movie. Oh well. Still a good set

Exactly, that’s how I imagine it. The outside is just part of the exterior of the castle, whichever section they want to do. On the inside, there would be two floors (at least). The bottom floor is the Chamber and the upper floor is the bathroom. It would work perfectly. They could even have a classroom or something above the bathroom if they wanted to

It also works really well for the In Noctem deleted scene in HBP

I feel like a centaur would add a lot of appeal to a Grawp set. Grawp is barely in the movies and doesn’t really do anything so there’s not a whole lot of appeal around him (I was never super into him in the books either). Minifigs would have to build the appeal for that set and there aren’t many to choose from but Bane would do nicely

I too loved those polybags and I hope they aren’t done with them entirely. It’s really nice to have that version of Maul pop up since we didn’t get Dryden, at least we have a main villain for the film now. I would still love to see Dryden as a minifig at some point. But it’s good to know that TLG hasn’t completely denounced Solo

As much as I would love an accessory to be a Pixie, it would probably just be a tile or a book with his face on it

Lego has made reanimated corpses before. Dementors are much darker creatures really, I see no reason not to make Inferi, but who knows

I’m wondering what creatures we could get this year. There are always some nice new molded and brick built creatures with these sets. I would imagine we’ll get at least one more Thestral which is great because that mold is spectacular. Grawp could happen one way or another. Inferi would be great too but they could just be some variant of minifig. Centaurs are on pretty much everyone’s mind at this point. We’ll see what happens there. I also really hope the exclusive book minifig is Werewolf Lupin but I won’t get my hopes up too high for that

I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a fake list yet. Remember that list last year that said we were getting a DA set, Chamber of Secrets, and D2C Diagon Alley? Yeah I wouldn’t mind some laughs from an obvious wishlist

I highly doubt we’ll get every Weasley in one set. I can almost guarantee that won’t happen. Hopefully we’ll get them all over the next couple waves but they’ll be spread out. I would expect The Burrow (if we get one) to come with Molly and Arthur as well as most likely Ginny and Ron. Fred and George would probably be best served as CMFs. Bill would hopefully come in a DH set or a CMF. Charlie wasn’t in the movies so I don’t see us ever getting him unless they make a figure based off his appearance in the family picture from Egypt in POA (unlikely but not impossible). Percy is kind of a wildcard, I really have no clue where he could pop up. I think it’s likely we’ll get different versions of Ginny over the next few waves as well.

That has to be the Hogwarts set this year, what else could it possibly be??? It would be perfect. Even if it’s an OOTP set, it would go with both years just like this year’s Clocktower set. I need some Death Eaters and Order members out of this upcoming wave. Let’s finally get some Weasley love. Fred and George would be prime CMF candidates.

Exactly. For all we know, this time around, they’ll take a break from their chronological waves and do a wave of missing sets from years 1-4 (which I wouldn’t not be opposed to). It’s anyone’s guess at this point. Leakers probably already know more than they’ve let on but they won’t squawk until they’re ready to

Not to mention wish listing is frowned upon and we’ve already toed the line for sure. It’s hard not to when we have no information
