Yes I was just talking about GOF but I would also love that version of her, maybe even a Shell Cottage version too but that many variations is a lot to hope for. But I love getting as many variations of characters as possible. I may even try to make a more book accurate Fleur just for fun Also, Neville’s Yule Ball dress robes are almost identical to Harry’s even down to the white bow tie so there’s an easy custom right there. And Cedric’s only major difference is a black bow tie so maybe?

I would actually very much love to see four more versions of Krum down the line (second task, Durmstrang robes/coat, third task, and Bulgarian seeker uniform) and three more versions of Fleur (second task, Beaubaxtons uniform, and third task). Also, in case anyone is interested but couldn’t see it properly, Harry’s first task uniform DOES say POTTER on the back. The lighting makes it extremely hard to see it but I can just make it out

I really like Harry’s new hair piece. I wasn’t sure at first but I like it. It’s not 100% accurate but it does do a very good job of showing his long hair look while also showing off the scar which I really like Actually we all asked his opinion, it’s what this thread is here for. By joining, we all subject ourselves to the opinions of all the other users. That’s what this place is

I don’t understand it either. I too think that Krum face print is ridiculous. But here are my options: 1) buy all the sets and get tons of amazing new figures, creatures, and builds, just have to find a way to fix one or two faces, or 2) deprive myself of every single new minifig and build in this wave because I’m unhappy with one or two figures It’s a no brainer for me, option 1 every time. This isn’t a personal attack on anyone, it’s just simple logic

Dang! Nice. I don’t find any good deals here in the US. I’m also too impatient to wait for sales but nothing is ever marked down that much anyway, especially bigger sets

I like them enough, I don’t think they’re really any worse any other wave, I just think there’s so much missing. I don’t mind the sets that they made, I just think they should have made one or two more, with there being so many missing characters and all

I really like Harry’s new face printing. Would I have preferred a proper Krum face print? Yes. But I’ll deal with it. So far the Krum issue is the ONLY negative thing about this wave, it’s a spectacular wave. I love how they did all the champions, and the fact that we’re even getting ALL the champions is more than I hoped for, and all in one set too! Plus alternate variants of some of them. It’s awesome, I can’t wait

I think he’s talking about Qi’Ra from the Landspeeder set with the shorter hair. I’ve seen it used in a custom CMF series 2 concept, but I think it looked horrible

I would accept Snape’s for GOF Ron since it is kinda the traditional long hair piece. But I don’t think the 2010 hair looks right at all for GOF. It’s perfect for years 5-7. But I’m GOF his hair falls back in curtains and is parted in the middle. They may end up using Lloyd’s hair like they are for Harry honestly which I guess would be ok. Not perfect but it would work. I definitely hope they use the Snape hair for Bill Weasley down the line

Only problem with that is that the neck part will show through and ruin the effect. I have a custom that uses hat technique and the neck is painfully obvious through the trans clear head and Sandy Cheeks fish bowl helmet

Honestly I think Ron should have had the Solo hair piece for years 1-3. And then for year 4 I think the best option would be the piece that they actually used for years 1-2. It’s long and has the curtains and everything, parted in the middle. But now that they used that hair for years 1-2, it would confuse things to use it for year 4 as well. But I do think it’s the best fit from existing parts.

I checked, there’s nothing there That’s alright I’m sure it’ll pop up somewhere before long, I’m not worried about it. Besides, the reveal has to be right around the corner I found it. My phone must have been glitching, it said he didn’t have anything in his story. Oh well. Gotta love technology. I love the fish bowl mould, I think it’s perfect. Simple but that’s all it really needed to be

Nice, I’ll have to try that. I’ve never attempted to remove printing before but I think this Krum thing warrants it. But I definitely think this is still a spectacular wave!

Really? An eraser? Huh, I never would have thought an eraser would take it off but I would much rather do that than try a coin and damage the piece

They are both good options but I think Poe is better because his facial expressions line up with Krum’s better. What is the best way to get the printing off without damaging the piece? I thought maybe using a coin to scrape it gently off?

All of these sets are a day one buy for me if my wallet allows. Such a great theme. If I have to pick a few to start with, I really have no idea how choose between these sets

Yeah I agree, I’m not a huge fan of Fleur’s so I might change it out but it’s nothing really. Krum’s is the only one that makes go “really lego?” But I’m definitely just glad we get a new Buckbeak and some of the other minifigs we’re getting, and I’m pumped for that Horntail. Kinda nervous with it being brick built but we’ll see

Let’s not forget that Expecto Patronum is supposed to be $15 and come with three minifigs plus a moulded stag. They obviously have a nice budget for this theme based on what we’ve seen so far and based on what is rumored to come. I really want Sirius to leak btw, I’ve wanted that figure for so long, I want to see it

I agree, if we get a graveyard set with Wormtail, then the only thing the Shrieking Shack would really have to offer is a werewolf (which would still be enough to make me buy it) but I would rather get all the exclusive versions of the second task champions, mermpeople, and maybe Gabrielle and some moulded Grindylows. Although, either way, I think if either of those two sets (Shrieking Shack and Second Task) don’t geg made this year, they will certainly be revisited along with a Chamber Of Secrets and some others that got missed the first time around

Since we have a description of that exact figure, I hope a picture isn’t too far behind
