  1. This is stunning! Look absolute great! You got any overview pictures of it?
  2. I just started with trains last month. I currently own: 4558 Metroliner 4511 High speed train 2x and converted to PF 7897 Passenger train 7939 Cargo train 6399 Airport shuttle (if that counts as a train) And the 4837 mini train
  3. Great job! the white one is really awesome! keep it up
  4. I use this one, not the most beautiful thing, but it does the job
  5. Love it! Very nice MOC!
  6. A few bars or restaurants to make good use of the view they have on the lake/sea :) Or a little boulevard like Scheveningen.
  7. Love your city, looks really great! And it's fun to watch how your city grows :) Keep up the good work!
  8. A little update from my side Couldn't resist today when I saw the 7642 Garage in a local shop here today! That's my newest addition to my street and it's now located in the corner at the end of the street. Also relocated some other buildings... AGAIN! :p My newest adition The work I've done on the terminal, the burgershop is no to the far right underneath the bridge, still have to think how I can add a waiting room and a place for selling tickets. I will remove the stairs on the front of the platform for the trains so they can only can be accessed from the terminal and lengthen the platform by a few studs. A little view down the street :) @Macoco: Patrick and Spongebob next to Lego Fabrik brick I got at the Lego DiscoverCenter in Berlin 2 years back :)
  9. That was the plan tho, but I'm short on a few bricks to raise the monorail station. It's just a matter of time. I've already raised the monorail on the other side of the town to clear some buildings. Already started on the terminal beneath the station and placed the burgershop in the terminal, its a pitty that it is a little bit out of sight now. That was a start on a little office block for the background scenery :) Still need some ideas for a pedestrian fence on the crossing, but I think I will have that in order this weekend! Had my doubt at first to because of the dark gray bricks in it. But love it how it fits in the city :) they really should make an updated version or release it in a legends version with the track expansion set ;) You spotted correctly ;) also got the spongbob version of it Also bought the 7642 garage today in a local shop and already fitted it in the town. Will post an update of my street later this evening :)
  10. Stunning! Great work!
  11. I've seen it the toy stores here in The Netherlands
  12. Thanks for all the nice comments guys! This is a really warm welcome for newcomers @Laka I don't want to put the shops to far from the street, I think I'm just gonna build some scenic behind the monorail but not doing much underneath it, but i took your advise to re-locate the train station next to the monorail station! Still thinking to take out the little burgershop there and build a terminal there, otherwise its space that doesn't get used... @lightningtiger I re-located it to the other side of the monorail, still have to work out what i'm going to build there, thinking of a small shopping street with apartments above it. Here's what i've done: The train tracks are now right next to the monorail station. I also made a little pedestrian crossing. The Pizza shop is now across the street, but like i said, still have to work out what to build around that corner...
  13. Not so sure too... Think i will place it on the other site of the monorail.
  14. Here's some of the work I done to improve this little street. I started adding little tile's to improve the walkway so it looks a lot smoother. Added a little parking space next to the train station. Give the shop something to sell, it now sells Lego I Also changed the layout of the monorail, After the Pizza store it makes a turn into a station, due lack of space I only build the beginnen of the platform. I decided that two large stops for the monorail was to much for this little street, thats why is stored the airport stop in its box again
  15. Thanks! Already rebuilding some parts and trying to add some MOC buildings (terug gevonden zal iets beter kloppen erg gave stad wat jij hebt gemaakt! Thanks, 8404 is still on my wishlist to add to my city! But also the modular houses, I still haven't decided which one to get first next month or so :) Already building on, got a whole package from bricklink in today!
  16. Hi Guys, I recently got out of my dark ages and started buying and building again. Only problem I have is the lack of space I have, but I wanted to build a little town anyway. So I cleared of a shelf and started building on a space of 48x232 nops! But I also wanted to add a little transportation in the city, that's why I build in the train level crossing and the monorail in the background. I also ordered some parts for a few MOC building i'm planning to build to fill in the background and gaps I have. I hope you will enjoy watching this topic and see this little street grow!
  17. I always loved trains since i was a kid but my parents got me a fleischmann H0 set back then and that was the start of a little collection in H0 model trains. A few years back I started buying trains and tracks for that again but stopped cause of the prices and space you need to build a nice track. The last couple of months I got al my old sets down from my moms attic and started building again, but still missed the trains. I still had fun with some Lego technical sets and after a while searching on eBay I bought my first Lego train cause I never owned one as a kid but still wanted one. And that's how it started and bought a lot of Lego the last 2 months. But I have a hard time to decite to sell my H0 collection to feed my urge for Lego ;)
  18. Manny thanks guys! There's a lot to see and read here, its a bit unbelievable how much there's on this forum
  19. Hi There, my name is Dave and i'm in my late 20's. I got back into Lego last year after buying some Technic sets, but after a while i start searching for my old Lego's from at my mother's place. After rebuilding some old sets from the 80 and early 90's i got interested again in the Lego City. And that resulted in a recent spent of lots of money for some new Lego sets. Also there was always a void that i didn't got filled, and that was owning some Lego trains and the Lego monorail. So in the past few months i starter collecting old and new products of which the 6399 airport shuttle which my absolut favorit set ever! I also did get some trains of which the classic 4558 metroliner. But due lack of space i can't build a nice Lego town, So i'm curently bulding on a wide shelf of 48x232 nops, with in the background the airport shuttle I would also like to start collecting the modulair houses and do some MOCS, but i'm still investing in new bricks for that! I'm absolutely sure that i will have a blast of a time here and can learn much from you guys, and hope that in the future i can contribute to this forum myself EDIT: Here are some pictures of my little town that i'm working on [ Cheers! Dave
