I built the 42100 while visiting my parent for christmas and had to leave it behind...such a beast. But yeah when I get a chance to test ill make a post about it :)

Some are, some are not. Those that arent you can setup the controles for yourself. Like if the steering wheel is in lower middle part of the screen you can assign a joystick to that yourself without messing with the controle +app. I know what the powered up app is like i already tested it.

I dont think support is needed. When playing a game I can setup each button in the phone app for it to replace any function I want. The powered up app has nothing to do with that and would never know :p Anyway it was just a idea I had. Not able to test this atm myself but I'll look into it later.

I have the first asus rog phone with the gamepad accessorie. For anyone not familiar the gamepad clips on to the sides of the phone and adds a "joystick" on each side. I wonder if it could be used in the app. It would make controlling a excavator feel more natural maybe. Has anyone tried this?

I want to see 42043 A, 8258 A and 42078 A without trailer. Or any of the other 2 compared to 42078 if that is more convenient for you :)

Thanks for uploading this. Its hard to tell sometimes how big sets are before you buy them. Any chance you can do 42043, 42078 and 8258? I got 42078 on the way and thinking about ordering 8258 as well. Specially interested in how tall the back end is for adding a trailer.

Hello. Been searching all over for instuctions to make a trailer for 8258. I have only been able to find pictures or people demanding serious cash for it. So i decided to give it a shot and this is what I got so far. Wheels has been removed for now because snapping with them on is a nightmare. Had no idea how time consuming this would be. The back end is incomplete and same goes for the claw that will connect to the truck. Having a hard time making it more..pretty. I guess it doesent need to be but not happy about how it looks atm. It is inspired by pictures found on google and not based on any real life trailers. Any suggestions to improve it is welcome. https://imgshare.io/image/trail-1.NRkTp

Can I use LDraw files in bricklink?

Cant seem to find any picture that shows everything. I guess its because of where the movie was produced. So i decided to just have some fun with it. The baseplate is the wrong color but has the shape i was looking for. "Stud.io" takes up alot of time but its a great program when the brick colection isnt big enough hehe. Anyway just thought i would share if anyone is interested :)

Hello new member here. So I was thinking about making a moc of Port Royal. However watching the first pirates of the caribbean movie the dock Jack gets on from his sinking boat does not match the dock where he is swinging from the cranes. I could be wrong about this though. I tried to search on google but could not find that there is two docks or more. It looks like there is 1 long dock coming out from the beach that splits into a "y" at the end but the cranes on the upper level is no where to be seen in that clip. Hope I explained it well enough. Does anyone have any pictures that could help?
