  1. Thanks everyone, This is exactly what happens: Due to high friction the gears inside the red differential rotate instead of the whole differential. Is this the same on your sets? Seems I rebuilt it for nothing...
  2. Hi everyone, I'm in the progress of building the Lego technic 42110 Land Rover. On my first build I had the issue, that the AWD was not working properly. When I moved the two backwheels, the front wheels would spin in the exact opposite direction. Obviously this is not how it can drive. I rebuilt it completely now and I have this issue again. I read quite a few threads online with people having that issue as well, and they ended up putting in one of the differentials in reverse. When I take a look at the instructions however, they seem to sit on the same side. Even when looking at pictures from others who built it, it seems the differentials sit on the same side, for example in here: (Taken from this post Does anyone have an idea what I could have done wrong? I also had the quite common issue (as it seems) of the 20-tooth gears to have quite a lot of friction. Had to try 6 different ones to find one which works well for the steering. Thanks for your help. Kind Regards, Florian
  3. Hey everyone, I really like the 42065 Model B, it is my first Lego Technic set since a long time. I wanted to add suspennsion however to improve the offroad abilities. Due to the higher ground clearance compared to Model A, it climbed obstacles better already. I wanted the changes to be as small as possible to keep things simple. I had to expand the chassis to fit everything in. In addition to the suspension, I added rubber stubs to the tracks for better traction on the ground. https://imgur.com/a/CjVbVpC https://imgur.com/a/GXnl4kL It is fun to play with it and fun to tinker, it brought me right back into the Lego galaxy :) I was thinking of creating a how to on how to add the suspension mod if anyone was interested. Kind Regards, Florian
