You know what I noticed even tho the dc sets aren’t confirmed. But mavel has a lot of sets already confirmed rn. And it feels like we are getting more from the dc line in 2020 than ever before! (2020 has some good potential to finally beat that 2015 wave of sets!). I think that this year will all the Batman/JL inconveniences we could get JL based sets? As that’s what I’m hopping for I think they skipped out on JL sets this year due to the Batman 80th anversity. So I pray we get JL based sets. And if we do Lego still has some let’s say untouched “ideas”. For example as I said before the infinite crisis CW/ARROWVERSE thing, we could possibly get a couple of sets with characters loosely based off comics. And another rather “Late” lineup is a JL vs crime syndicates. Yes yes ik the Lego group is a few years late with the video game. But it’s not a bad idea and plus kids most likely bought the game so they know who the crime syndicates are. And could open up a whole new lineup of villains. And if they really wanted to they can loosely go off the comics and take it from were the “justice league disappeared”. That’s gives us a chance to get newer mainstream characters like zatanna, dr.fate, and guy Gardner GL. Like i totally have like 8 set ideas fresh in my head like seriously Lego what are u waiting for make me a designer already. ;)

and guys do you know what i just realized. this year right before 2020 starts the cw/ arrowverse is coming out with the crisis on infinite earths crossover event. grant gustin, and other members of the arrowverse have said this to be huge and the biggest arrowverse crossover ever. can the dc comics cmf series and the newly rumored 2020 sets, could these be loosley based off of the up coming crossover. Idk this has been a thought in my head all day but im just spitting out random stuff. not a bad idea tho.

You see I think your wrong, besides 10-15 other characters the green lanterns, red, blue, green, orange, yellow and, purple and pink are very high in demand. Just think about it green lantern (guy gardener), green lantern Simon bazz, star sapphire, larfleez, bleez and killawog and atrocious etc. and the 10-15 others may be zatanna, doctor fate, mr miracle etc. either way this opens a whole new door to possibilities of new characters we’ve never seen. And if u want to get to obscure character I mean like, trigon, green lantern(the duck), king shark, Bart Allen. Those are characters that can wait we still need more mainstream characters from the dc lineup. And if come 2020 lego does mess this up and we don’t get one of the characters above or any other lantern corps figs I can safely say that over the past 10-11 years the dc lineup has failed in customer satisfaction.

You don’t know because your not a mega dc fan like most of us in here are. You say Lego dose not do These characters because we don’t know who they are but didn’t we just get a whole movie, of Jessica Cruz and atrocious. That was a great way to bring the red lanterns into play. This cmf series could be the way us Lego dc super nerds. Get the mini figure we wanted. Sure they may not be that know but like how. Duncan said they kids will see new characters to research and bright colors. This could a money maker for Lego and for the dc universe as a whole. Most people but the sets for the mining’s (that’s what I do personally). And yes the demand for GL based characters are very highly and I know because a few years ago I was begging for them. But now I might actually have a chance of getting other colored lantern rings

I don’t see why some people are this is a bad idea. (Yes the Lego Batman movie CMF if horrible). But this might be the best chance Lego has at reviving the dc lineup. Just think about we could all the characters we ever wanted especially if Lego does well with them and has great design. This could be huge. Characters like atrocious, doctor fate, zatanna, more green lanterns, the list continues. Like seriously how likely is it that Lego releases a set with atrocious riding a giant Red Bull while fighting green lantern (guy), not very likely. And Lego can give their full attention to Lego Batman appealing to kids while, people like us can collect minifigures we always wanted. This is great!!!!

Word on the street? We’re did u hear this? October is almost 2 months from now and your telling me we have 2020 set images but no details, no price, no minifigures on what this set could be? And let me guess that’s when we can expect to hear the dc comics superhero 2020 set lineup. Because they always happen in October.

That’s my point why are all the marvel ones confirmed but not dc? I’m having a very strong thought those are dc sets. But that’s just my theory And that d2c set is def. not happening we are half way through 2019 no piece count, no set number no nothing. Even tho we have 2020 news already.

This makes no scenes, marvel gets 10-11 11 sets (just from the lego spiderman and new avengers sets alone) and dc only gets two?. well at least the ones that are confirmed i hope lego really steps up there dc game next year. or the other list labeled under 'super-heroes" better be primarlly dc related sets.

and when this set supposed to be released because to my knowledge it was rumored a very long time ago. and today is the last day of SDCC so there is a chance of hearing of the d2c set and more info on 2020 sets. That's what was said a few days ago, and isnt there a dc comics giveaway today?

not everyone is a pro lego leaker like you its just speculation.

You see I feel like since sdcc will be all wrapped up by next week I think the first week of August or hell even next we could get set discriptions, we usually always get them around their time. (But sometimes we get them around the begging of June). But idk if any info will be released especially (not saying they are) if the are JL sets or sets that finally have very highly sought out mini figures (don’t get your hopes up either I highly doubt it will happen). And that will take away from the sets releasing in August.

So no 2020 set discussion until discriptions that’s gonna be a good while

um...... its very weird we have not seen any 2020 leaks or rumors, we usually get them by now is Lego waiting for SDCC '19 or is the DC line just done with due to the lack of sales and hate going out to Lego brand for there little effort in the DC line compared to harry potter, Marvel and star wars.

I am really hopping for new dc sets to be shown at comic con this year. I feel like all the hype around young justice would be a great chance to bring back justice league sets with younger heroes such as aqua lad, kid flash, miss martian, superboy and maybe a new nightwing (we haven’t seen him in a while). I think it’s be a great mix up and appeal to younger audiences due to having young justice characters. And also, another great way to bring back the justice league is using inspiration from Lego dc super villains. That game was great and I personally loved it. And also notice how the 2015 sets were kinda mirrored the LB3 video game. That would be perfect for like 6-7 sets and each set coming with a different member of the crime syndicate along with new members of the justice league. Like hawk girl and atom. Like seriously I think this is a great idea how has Lego not come up with this already?

From what ive noticed those 2018 JL sets got alot of hate, id be very surprised if we got new JL sets with new characters. and im talking remakes of some minifigures such as, green lantern, green arrow and a new superman. however there is plenty of room for brand new characters such as hawkgirl, red lanterns, pink lanterns, black adam, new yellow lanterns, new green lanterns (badge, simon bazz, and killawog) and MANY others. I feel Lego barley scratched the surface of what dc characters they could unveil. and considering the dc line has been around for like 10-11 years and we constantly keep getting remakes and no new characters im kinda drifting away from the DC line and am not so hopeful for any JL sets next year.

It’s possible, but endgame was a huge release and marvel is getting more than just 1 more set. I think Lego is done with JL sets, as sad as it is it’s over for those because the flop the 2018 ones were. However I believe Lego can still pull JL sets off, if they actually put time and effort into them. I feel like the 2018 JL sets were kinda rushed and just had “never before seen” characters like killer frost and firestorm. But those 2015 “Lego Batman 3” sets were what I think the best DC wave we have ever gotten. Those characters were very very well done. And I also feel like “Lego dc supervillians” has some awesome character designs, for example I am a huge fan of the doomsday, bizzaro, green lantern (Simon bazz) and the green arrow minifigures from that game. And I would pay extra to get them in a 2020 sets (but I highly doubt it would happen).
