  4. REVIEW 60003 FIRE EMERGENCY by Plate 2013 year comes with a some new city fire sets. Before seeing a superb review here in the forum,my intention was to buy the fire truck 60002, but there wasn't in the shop! So i went back home with this Fire Emergency set. Name: Fire Emergency Number: 60003 Theme: CITY | Subtheme: Fire Year: 2013 Pieces: 301 Minifigs: 3 Price: $39.99 | 29,99 € Links: http://shop.lego.com...equestid=884520 THE BOX In the front of the box we can see a picture of a fire scene in the city. Our little fire team comes to extinguish a fire in a abandoned house. In the back we have the tippical "hey!" of lego city and some nice pictures of the set. Side view: THE CONTENTS Polybags The set has 3 poly bags , a few separate parts without bag, and stickers (i dont like stickers but...for these set are necessary) Instruction booklet Instructions are printed in two booklets, one for the truck and the other for the shop. Lego parts Bag number 1: Bag number 2: Bag number 3: THE MINIFIG All three minifig have same front and back design, fireman working clothes, ready for the action!! Two guys and a girl, big applause to Lego! Front view Back view Firemen and woman with tools Accessories include smoke diver gear, axe and a saw. The set doesn't include a walkie. THE BUILD The build is made in two booklets, one for the truck and the other for the abandoned house. The building process is easy, steps are short made. Bags 1 and 2 are for the truck and 3 for the abandoned house. Bag number 1 + 2 build: The truck I like it, and believe me, pictures doesnt do justice. The new ladder design its cool, i wish the extendible one would be like the other, with banisters. The driver can see the back of the truck, thanks to a trans blue windscreen. Its not possible to fit two minifig in the cockpit, but they can travel atached to the yellow side bars. I dont like the yellow round brick with the hose, it falls easily. Some views of the truck: Bag number 3 build: Abandoned house Nothing special to say about the house ,it seens abandoned. The roof its removable and it has an special feature: part of the roof is in flames. The flames falls out when the fire is over, thanks to an easy mechanism: When the knob is turned the flames put out. House on fire!!: Well done!!: Back view of the house: FINISHED MODEL A few pics of the finished model: Spare parts: RATING I think its a great set with a lot of playability. Build:7/10 Its an easy build, not different to other city sets. Design:9/10 Simple but cool. I like the design of the ladder elevation system. Price:9/10 Playability:10/10 The burning house adds a lot of fun to the model. Minifigures: 8/10 I give a 10 to Lego for including a girl, but i would like a different torso for at least one minifig to add variety. Very good face expressions. Parts:7/10 No especial parts. The ladder is cool. It would be great that they included 1x2 modified brick (masonry) instead of the 1x4 modified brown. I´m not a big fan of stickers but i think they are necessary for this set. OVERALL: 83% CONCLUSION It is a wonderful fire set that has a lot of playability, a perfect mate for the new 2013 firetruck. The truck has a very good design and when you see alive is better than pictures. It has a realistic design. The house is simple but adds playability to the set. My next purchase will be the big truck to have an excellent fire brigade!!

    MOD+MOC 2 in 1

Hi!! Here are may lattest two modulars, 2 in 1. I used one 32x32 baseplate so they are not removable. The first building is a MOD from 10218 (Pet Shop set), the interior is not still furnitured. The second one is a modular version of the Winter toy shop. I hope you like it!!Some pictures in my flickr gallery: http://www.flickr.co...s/63476009@N04/
  8. Ok!GE finished!!Very very nice set!I enjoyed building it. The building was faster than FB or GG and finished looks fantastic. The pictures do not do justice, you have to build and watch it live. I like the SNOT used on the first floor, the SHOP letters ,the main door, the lamp, the skylight ...For me every modular I have build has something special and different.
  9. I was not really decided but finally I ordered GE and its coming. My purpose is to get both GE and PS (And now TH!!) The firts modular I build was GG and later FB. Both are excellent, but I really enjoyed the SNOT on FB. When I buy a modular I look the appearance but the building experience too. On the other hand, my experience tells me that all set win when you see them live and not images.I hope GE to meet my expectations .Thanks for your advice!
  10. I have no words!!Excellent colour combination, and the lift its superb. How much time did you spend doing it?
  11. Very nice house!!I like it!! The colour palette its excellent. All street looks very good!
  12. Hi! I'm not in technics since my dark ages...but yesterday I received an 8043, and I'm very happy with it!!!Today I added some lights to the model. They come from an old city set, lights, cable and battery box (9V, square battery). It add some extra weight to the front, but I think there is no problem. Of course, the best solution for lighting would be this: My link led lights, but I dont have any of these!!Here some pics: http://www.flickr.co...57627639123544/
  13. Thanks!! I tried doing a larger minifig scale creation, but due to my little amount of bricks, that was'nt possible. I started doing the engine and the tunnel, then the railway. But I havent enought pieces and had to do something to break the railway...
  14. Here is my list: -City- Airport Monorail Shuttle -Emerald Night -7939 Cargo train -MOC Engine -Maersk Train, engine only (coming soon!)
  15. What stopped the train? It was the rain that fell from the big waterfall near CheeseSlope City. For centuries it was not raining so hard. But apparently that day the Indians blew their drums to the rain god, and he heeded them. The water drag from the railway. Cowboys, seeing the arrival of the Brick Express Train tried to warn him to stop in time... More pictures here: http://www.flickr.co...57627478439961/
  16. Thanks to everybody!! I'll try to find a GE with good price!!
  17. Hi all!! I´m an entusiasthic of Modular Houses, I already have the Green Grocer and Fire Brigade. I want to buy another one but I dont know what: GE o PS?I like Snot very much, I enjoyed building FB. I see GE very equal in the facade, and I feel that PS Its going to be little to me...What do you think? Thanks Jonathan
