Got my Hive Crawler today. It's a fantastic set. Build was very enjoyable, and it looks amazing. The play feature is very cool as well, and it looks great on display.

Now that Toys R Us has the Summer Galaxy Squad sets in stock, when do you think it's probable that the Lego stores will be getting them in as well? I have one right next to my local Toys R Us, and would much rather pay $60 for the Hive Crawler than $75.

Great reviews on the Summer wave. I'm also a huge Insectoid fan, the Arachnoid Star Base was actually the set that got me back into Legos; a few years ago I decided to try to get it again having always wanted it as a child, and that's how I discovered Bricklink and ended up building a huge collection that consists of all the sets I always wanted as a child. My space collection, which comprises 1/4 of my collection, consists mostly of Insectoids sets, and now some Galaxy Squad ones as well. I'm only interested in the bug vehicles, but they go surprisingly well with the Insectoids vehicles as well. Insectoids will always be my favorite theme, but I really like the Galaxy Squad line as well.

I'm probably the only one who does this, but has anyone else paired up the robots with the insects? In the original Insectoids theme the aliens had robots, so I just found it fitting since this theme is so similar to have the robots on the same side as the aliens. The red Buggoid and red robot look great together, and I'm pairing up the green Buggoid and blue robots, since I can't stand how the green robots look. I'm actually using those purple pods to hold the robots in, not as captives but just to store them in.

Just picked up a few of the sets today: Star Slicer, Warp Stinger, and Space Swarmer. Overall I'm very impressed, the sets look very nice and are even bigger than I expected. The Warp Stinger is really fragile, and it's hard to hold without pieces falling off, but it's going on display anyway so that's not a problem.

Could anyone see how much the Hive Crawler was? I tried squinting but it was just too blurry for me. I was planning on buying all the insect vehicles, but I dunno about the Crater Creeper, it just looks meh to me. The new pictures of the Hive Crawler look great though, I was initially considering removing the lasers but after seeing the box art and additional pictures I'm reconsidering. All in all it looks phenomenal.

Pokemon was a big part of my childhood, and I feel this captures the essence perfectly. Even if something like this doesn't exist in the Pokemon universe, for some reason it seems to fit right in, and I instantly recognize the Pokemon despite the size. Great work!

For so few pieces that's really well done. Good job!

I'm really enthused about this theme, being a huge fan of the Insectoids line. I'll probably only be picking up the insect vehicles (I'm not a fan of vehicles or spaceships) so Star Slicer and Warp Stinger, and Hive Crawler when it releases...though I'm still not 100% what it's supposed to be. It looks like an ant, having six legs and all, but it also kind of resembles a spider, and the Arachnoid Star Base only had six legs, while it was obviously a spider. Either way I'm really looking forward to wave two, if only for the Hive Crawler.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't...disappointing since I'm not a fan of non-snake vehicles and thus won't be getting the set. Definitely getting Epic Dragon Battle and a couple of Lasha's Bite Cycles though.

It comes with all four ZX ninjas, Pythor and Spitta (Venomari Soldier) Epic Dragon Battle: Lord Garmadon, Lloyd Garmadon, NRG Jay, Sensei Wu, Acidicus, (Venomari General) Skalidor, (Constrictai General) and Chokun (Constrictai Warrior) Source: Brickipedia and leaked pictures.

I finally got some of the new Ninjago sets--9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush and 9443 Rattlecopter and am very impressed. The build, especially for the Rattlecopter was quite enjoyable and I'm loving the mini-figures. I didn't like that the snake's mouth in 9445 didn't fully open, but add a couple transparent bricks to the underside and not only can the mouth open fully, but the front wheels are barely off the ground and it's hardly noticeable. Can't wait until I can get the mech and wrecking ball. The latter looks to be one of my favorite Lego sets of all time.
