  1. Hi I'm Twistopher a AFOL from Upper PA in the USA. I bought the 7939 Cargo Train this past Friday night and have longed for those old 9 volts over the years but when your a kid and money is tight and your vices long (books, music, movies), well I went into a dark age lasting from the mid to late nineties til 2008. It took me a day till I opened the set and two days to complete (Saturday night and Sunday morning). Was it worth the money I spent? YES!!! Only thing i'm disappointed with is the PF controller, It fits in the palm of my hand, it makes me feel like a giant. Otherwisw PF works fine and even the flex track works pretty good.
  2. Last year at the NY State Fair here in the US, the Lego Corporation had a promotional tour come in for four days and I was working in the Poultry Barn. They had several display cases with various Lego scenes. One was a desert, another a town and last a ocean scene. The town contained a train. The point is they used either transparent plastic or blue glass to simulate water and it rested on a Lego stone base and supported all the scene above the water it represented. I went every day to stare ai it and pick out the details, loved all the scenes and the inclusion of the train was nice. How to combine them is something I'm not sure how to do yet as I'm still working on increaseing my Lego collection, but thought this was neat, got a couple lanyards upon visiting the booth.
