  2. That's funny how everybody says I'm good with LDD as I've just learned how to use it a week ago XD But thanks anyway. I will in fact change the water and I'll try to decide myself for the Endeavour. For my Harry Potter MOCs, I'm beginning to do all of them on LDD so I can destroy them to do something else. I will try to post them on the licensed forum as soon as possible! I tried to do it with 3 studs but it was too difficult as the pieces I used originally were almost all 2 studs. With 4 studs I just needed to put them it he middle. Anyway I'm trying to decide which version of the HMS Endeavour to chose. I don't have a lot of time to decide!
  3. Thanks to everybody who helped me to improve my story! I appreciate a lot! :)
  4. So, I've read all your comments and suggestions to improve my MOC. Here's some pictures of what I changed. You can find more of them here. I'd like to have feedback from you guys to know what to keep and what to remove. Following Captain Genaro's suggestion, I changed the water. I hope it looks better like that. Following MstrOfPppts' suggestion, I made the HMS Endeavour bigger. The only problem is that now I think it looks too big. Anyway tell me which one you prefer. Again following Captain Genaro, I blew up some parts of the Endeavour to represent its destruction. I'd like to know if you prefer the ship before or during its destruction. Again following MstrOfPppts' suggestion, I replaced the cannons on all the ships. I think its better like that. Just a complete view of the new version of my Moc. So now please tell me what you think I should keep or not!
  5. Thanks for your feedback. I found your idea of the frozing soldiers very funny so I used it. I have now made the changes to my final version so if anybody else want to help me improve it, feel free!
  6. Thanks MstrOfPppts for your comments. I changed a lot of parts following what you suggested me to do. Please give me feedback on it!
  7. Hello there! Here's my entry for the contest. As almost all my LEGOs are currently used for Harry Potter's MOCs, I didn't have enough pieces to make a pirate set. However, I decided to do a small one on Lego Digital Designer. It's called "Just Good Business" and it represents the scene from At World's End when The Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman attack the HMS Endeavour (and later destroy it). I know it's a bit small but I liked how they made the little ships in the PotC Lego video game. Also, it was the only way to represent that scene with the restrictions we had. If you like it, I may post "The Kraken Attack", "The Queen Anne's Revenge" and other similar MOCs on this forum when the contest will be done. If I win, I'd like the Mill set. Here's the link to see more pictures: Flickr Gallery
  8. Thank you Bricks4Fun for your interest in my story. I would like in fact to put my script on the forum when it will be done so everybody can have a look at it and maybe help me correct/improve it (I would really like that :P). Doing the stop-motion may be hard and long, but I'll start as soon as I get the PotC sets I need. I changed the short dialogue between Jack and Brickbeard and replaced it with your ideas. I think it's all I can do for the dialogue as I needed to cut a lot on that to fit with the words restriction. Fortunately there will be lot more dialogues in the complete version. Your comments were in fact helpful. I'm glad I'm not that bad in english! Thanks again.
  9. Thank you very much for your comments! I made the improvements to my story. There's more action in the complete version because Jack and Brickbeard have to escape from the Admiral, but as it was 1742 words long, I had to cut the whole battle scene against the IFS crew. Anyway I hope you enjoyed.
  10. Here's my entry for the mailing list division contest. I'm sorry if there's some mistakes, but english is not my first language. Feel free to tell me my mistakes, I will be happy to correct them. My story happens a couple of weeks after On Stranger Tides and is the shortened version of the script of a stop-motion movie I want to do this summer. Without the title, it's 299 words long. Please vote for me. If you do I will put the complete version of my story on the forum! Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Rescue on the Imperial Flagship Jack Sparrow was silently navigating in a rowboat. As it was the night, he was guiding himself with his compass. He wanted to find where his old friend Brickbeard was held prisoner because the pirate possessed a copy of the Black Pearl's instruction booklet. Jack needed it to rebuild his ship that Blackbeard had destroyed. After a couple of minutes, the rowboat finally hit the hull of the Imperial Flagship. Jack reached the window of the captain's cabin. He knew it could open thanks to the booklet of the ship he got from a stranger in Tortuga. Once inside, he walked across the deck and arrived in front of Brickbeard's prison. He tried to melt the plastic bars with fire, but as the fire was in plastic too, it didn't help. “Damn LEGO world!" Then Jack remembered that in that “damn LEGO world,” the doors couldn't lock, so he just opened it. “Ah, Jack!” exclaimed Brickbeard once free. “Was about time!” “Sorry mate, the door was fireproof.” They both hurried to the top of the captain's cabin, but they ran into the admiral. Jack suddenly pointed at the horizon and yelled “HUMAN KID!” The admiral and all the yellowish soldiers, panicked, hurried to the place the child had left them and froze. The two pirates got back to the rowboat before their opponents realized the fraud. Jack again used his compass to guide himself. After a couple of minutes, they finally reached another ship and climbed on it. “You could thank me for freeing you,” said Jack. “Thank ya very much Jack... for bringin' me on Blackbeard's ship! Who the hell were you thinkin' about while watchin' yer compass?” Jack turned around and came face to face with Angelica. “Oh, bugger.”
  11. I can't wait to get this Black Pearl. I don't really mind if the ship isn't grandiose and really detailed. With these black hull, mast and sail pieces, it will be easy to MOC a bit in order to get a better ship. Anyway even if the Queen Anne's Revenge is great, I will probably do some job on it soon in order to get an upper and a lower deck since it's really hard to move the minifigs at the bottom of the ship like that, with the sails in the way and everything. I will probably try to do something similar to the Imperial Flagship for the QAR, and probably for the BP too. So I don't really care of the dull design. What I don't understand is why we don't get Anamaria and/or Pintel and/or Ragetti and/or Marty and/or Cotton and his parrot and/or Jack the Monkey. I mean, OK they put Davy Jones to increase the playability with at least one vilain. But they should have kept Maccus and Bootstrap for the Flying Dutchman and replaced them by some of Jack's crew. Then we would have been able to do scenes from the Dead's Man Chest and from the Curse of the Black Pearl. But how do you want to do a scene without Davy Jones now? Hard to sail a ship with only a captain and two crew members... So I definitly wish we get these missing characters in another set (Tortuga???)
  12. The Black Pearl is supposed to include Jack, Will, Gibbs, Davy Jones, Maccus and Bootstrap. I like the fact that there is Davy Jones' crew members but I miss Jack's crew members. So if they do a Flying Dutchman, it should have Jimmy Legs, Palifico, Wyvern or others + some crew members they forgot on the Black Pearl like Pintel, Ragetti, Marty and Cotton and his parrot. As the Flying Dutchman is the hottest ship of the movie, it should be the biggest, maybe bigger than the QAR but smaller than the IF. I know we won't probably get a HMS endavour but at least I'd like a small cabin with Lord Beckett, Mr. Mercer and Governer Swann in it (from the scene at the beginning of At World's End). About the size of the captain's cabin in the first wave with the chest of Davy Jones, a desk and some other items. I'd also like a set where we could get Sao Feng (maybe his ship or his bath house) and Tia Dalma (please with Jack the Monkey because I don't have any LEGO monkey yet!)
