  1. Is there any new information about the Chrome Vader promotion by Galeria Kaufhof in Germany? It was mention somewhere around page 100l, I think, and it said that the Chrome Vaders would be give-aways, however there wasn't a specific date. If I remember correctly it only said august.
  2. Well I ment that more in a "I like both possibilities equally" kind of way, I didn't think it would sound that negative. And you're right it would be amazing and it would also help us to add a bit more diversity to our clone armys, even though there's quite a lot of different Phase I troopers in the CW line already (Pilots, Gunners and the Commanders), we haven't seen many clones wearing an armor which differs from the Phase I charakteristics. (Senate Commandos are an example because their helmet are different from the normal clones) So I would endorse TLC to produce Cold Assault Trooper and other interessting types of clones. (Maybe these clones with the wider helmets from the CW season 2 trailer, even though we don't know their purpose)
  3. Well, I want to add my opinion of the list as well: Battle Packs: Sounds promising, but I couldn't care less if it where "Clone Cold Assault Trooper" and "Droid Commando" battle packs. TIE Defender: I hope this is true! Since I first saw the TIE Defender in EAW: Forces of Corruption, I fell in love with it. It has such a unique shape and packs quite a punch. In conclusion: If this is true, it's a definite must-buy for me. ARC 170 Starfighter: I already have the old one. I will most likely not buy it, but if it's greatly improved from the old one I might consider picking it up at a good price. Droid Tri-Fighter: Same as the ARC 170. If true, I will most likely not buy it. Luke's Landspeeder: Sounds kind of boring. Perhaps will include some tuskens and I bet TLC will manage to squeeze in some flick-fire missiles in this set. In conclusion: If this list is true, January 2010 will be less expensive for me.
  4. Forresto, the CIS boarding craft and the "meteor dropship", as you put it, are the same craft...Just wanted to point that out if you thought they were different. My ideas for new Star Wars sets: Republic Medical Frigate (The transports from the Episode "Shadow of Malevolence") Size: Around 10 cm shorter than the Venator would be perfect, it wouldn't be acurratly scaled but the size would leave room for play features ans a detailed interior, without the ship being bigger than the Venator. Minifigures: 1 clone pilot, 2 clone officers (1 in bley uniform, 1 in white uniform [i believe the white ones belong to the medical corps, but I'm not sure]), 2 wounded clones and 1 regular clone trooper Playfeatures: Bacta tank, escape pod, flick-fire missiles. Price: 90 € Acclamator Attack Cruiser Size: A bit shorter than the Venator, maybe a little wider Minifigures: 1 clone pilot, 1 clone officer, 2 clone troopers, Commander Gree and Ki-Adi-Mundi Playfeatures: Landing gear, 2 ramps on the underside, small gun-turrets Price: 110 € Seperatist Landing Craft Size: A scaled down version, able to fit a speeder similar to the one in the 7662 MTT set Minifigures: 8 standard battle droids, 2 pilot droids, 2 super battle droids and 1 tactical droid Playfeatures: Opening front doors, small cockpit above the cargo bay, maybe a flick-fire or bomb feature to add to the play value. Price: 80€ Republic AV-7 Antivehicle Cannon Size: Similiar to the 8018 AAT in width and height, plus the large gun barrel Minifigures: 1 clone gunner, 1 clone trooper, Seargant Denal and 1 generic republic astromech droid Playfeatures: Cannon is able to rotate, gun barrel can be elevated, retrectable legs, perhaps an extending hook compatible with the 10195 Dropship Price: 30 € That's everything for the moment.
  5. I'd like to add something to my list: -Modern houses with huge windows, I can't help but feel watched in there.
  6. Looking at MOCpages, I can't help but notice how the group CFOL (Christian Fans of LEGO) is not really discussing the subject of LEGO, but how it turned into some kind of "inquisitionary commando" targeting non Christian FOLs, especially atheists. I would like to know what you think about this group's behaviour and if groups like this are dangerous for the unity of he FOL community. This topic is in no way meant as an attack on said group, I just want to hear other member's opinions about this group and/or it's behaviour. If this topic is inappropriate in any kind of way, an Admin/Mod/Fellow may feel free to close and/or delete this.
  7. The Return of Galidor... I guess I don't have to explain this further...
  8. Interesting idea, Mr. Business Tusken Natman8000. I like the use of the big transparent piece as a water fall, very creative. I suggest you might add some more chrome and/or pearl-gold pieces to archieve even more of a pimp-look.
  9. Happy birthday, you two! May your special day be filled with lots of new LEGO sets. Oh, BTW: All hail the Doctor!
  10. I assume you didn't see the picture on the frontpage. Perhaps Mr. Hinckl-Dinckl will use this topic to post more of that kind.
  11. I don't know if there is a big vehicle with such an odd shape that it would need that door to be opened but I guess it could be meant as a compartment for smaller vehicles like AT-RTs. There would be enough place for 2 of them in the nose if the missile holder is removed. But I mainly guess this is just wildly speculating.
  12. Things like this are always good for a laugh, but the MC Hammer pants make it awesome.
  13. I don't no where you have seen that but there is no information about a pirate month in the theme month archives.
  14. Try to tell that the hordes of spacers in the Space & Mecha subforum who eagerly await a Space Month.
  15. But the release of Space Police III could be used as a reason for a general Space Month.
  16. We clearly need a Space Police III month instead of a Pirate Month, it also fits in very well considering that SP III sets are released at the moment.
  17. Exactly my opinion, mind if I quote this for my signature? Regarding that the Ben 10 toys made by other companies seem to be busy shelve warming and some members stating that the show isn't that popular in some countries, this license is most likely going to take a horribly wrong direction.
  18. Let's just hope it won't be a move in the wrong direction for LEGO. I will remain sceptic on this issue.
  19. Galidor was LEGOs try on interchargeable actionfigures, which went horribly wrong, regarding both sales and design.
  20. Am I the only who thinks this smells like the next Galidor? I don't see how this is supposed to fit in with LEGO and why do they need another theme including aliens next to Space Police III, I know it's a license, but wouldn't this badly affect the SP III sales to have a similiar theme?
  21. I got my megablocks kicked by KimT, SirDillon and DJ. But I don't need much time till I'm on level 10 as I am on level 6 already. You can fight me here.
  22. An interesting discovery you made there, Trash. I also like the custom torso design, although the combination of the suit and ammunition belt make it look a bit like this guy would apologize if he hits you with his gun.
  23. Here's another one. I managed to use 4 bandwagons in this one, anyone able to beat me?
  24. Look it's my goofy hero again. I'll try to use as many bandwagons on him as possible.
