Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
de Gothia replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great bios so far!! My latest moc Thread can be found here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69862 -
There he was all alone at last. At her grave and her final rest. She laid at the same grave field as her ancestors. The funeral was beautiful and many hundred came to the ceremony. The grave keeper asked de Gothia if he should plant the lillies at her grave but de Gothia said no. He would like to do it himself. The lillies, a symbol for the graves that laid scatterd across the fields outside Gothia Castle. Quinn always thought that lillies was the perfect symbol for peace. She planted lillies at her fathers grave once with his uncle. The guilt for letting Quinn go to serach for the Earth elememt thorned him apart. He missed her laughter, her smell and her kindness and he knew he would never see her again. There he was all alone at last... C&C much welcome as always! Tried to do some forced perspective... Edit: My Kaliphin friend NM tried some editing and here is the result. Thanks NM!!

Oh that new horse is just great! Can´t wait for the LOTR to come to Sweden! -
Hoho! Amazing!! Love it! The wall technique of yours is great and I have to try that out sometimes! The zombies are really funny and my favourite thing has to be that guard easing the pressure!

Name: de Gothia Rank: Lord of Benoic Age: 30 Weapon of Choice: Long sword History: de Gothia have lived his whole life in Avalonia. No one knows his first name, and it will be a secret to his death. It was hard times before Artorious Rex and his men came to clear out all the evil out. de Gothia joined the "Flight of Dragons" soon after they reached his castle, Gothia Castle. Finally he could bring justice to those who slaughtered his mother, father and brother. The only family member he has left is Quinn, his niece. He promised his brother to look after her and guard her and let her decide self who she would marry. Once the land was cleard out of the evil, Artorious Rex gave de Gothia his land back and named it Benoic. In Benoic there are no large city, just smaller villages and one great castle, Gothia Castle. The landscape is rolling green fields and old countryside. -

Feels like the part when the party came to an end! Not much activit only in the voting thread. Challenge 3 is closed and I think we have some truly great entries from us Avalonians! Are you continuing building or are you enjoy the hangover from the party? I´m looking forward to a "challenge free" time in the next months so we can focus on Avalonia. I´m excited about the free builds with some prizes as well! However my next moc is coming along very slowly! The summer is coming and I sure enjoy sitting in my garden right now! -
Thanks again! Glad you like it and glad to see it score some points in the voting! gabe: We have to wait and see what´s going to happen!

Wow! Love all these great entries and this one is certainly no exception! That free build is just insane! What a huge moc with lots of details!! But my favourite part has to be the tomb and the grave! That golem is one tough guardian but no match for some Kaliphin magic!
-
So much to love here rogueang! Those minifigs hands as hay is one example and the window with trans clear bricks! (Have to take some techniques from that with me! ) You have really good lightning in your photos!! Very well done sir!
-
Looking promising but why so few pics in this thread? Maybe move the hero in some angels to see how he defeats the guardians and let him take the crystal...?

Love the colour combo in this one! Great to see that you enter the contest as well! Some more pics have been good though -
I love that dragon! So cute!!! And that ruin is very nice with the arches! Fun to see that you put in many details in your buildings like the ice close to the shore!

Love that lime green slime! And the guardians is a great touch and fun to see those head being used in that way! Great entry Jason! -
Some great photos here ZM!! Great fighting and minifigure posing as well! Great to see that you enter the contest!
-
As NM says those fighting scenes is great! That posing of the minifigures is great! The sorrounding terrain is a little plain though, maybe some plates and other colours to spice it up?!
-
That guardian is just wow! Very much action packed into the scene and I can almost see how the beast is moving! Fun to see those microfigs! As I said before, it´s to bad that you didn´t put all the chapters in one thread.
-
Your skills to transform ordinary red bricks into awesome things is crazy! So much to love here and those trans clear bricks adds alot! To bad though that the challenge 3 didn´t get it´s own thread...
-
Those arches are really great Niku! Must be a pain to keep them in place and set them up! You are improving with your building skills and this moc has a very "Niku" feeling to it!
-
That guardian is so cute! Very classic Lego feeling to him! The trans clear bridge is brilliant and I just love it!
-
So much to like in this entry! The tiles in the bathroom, the hair of one of your adventures and the border on the large moc! Great entry!!

de Gothia replied to Gabe's topic in Guilds of Historica
That forced perspective in the first pic is very nice! You can almost hear the sea and seagulls! That island is so great and I love the fact that he/she is the guardian! Very nice pics overall! -
The pic inside the cave with the waterfall behind and the light coming in is just wooow! Great done! Love the waterfall as well on the outside, much realistic! Funny little guardian! Great to see all the ideas people have regarding these fellas!
-
That plant is so well done! Loks very much alive! But my favourite part has to be that bridge in the forest! So good! Great work!
-
Wow! This is just amazing! Love the scene and that temple is a true masterpiece! This has to be one of the top scorer! Well done!
