  1. maybe remnants from rendering - should not be related to the real brick itself
  2. yes, there are discrepancies - I had "some" pieces left after finishing it. Please let me know if you need the parts list
  3. sure, look at Jerac's Razor Crest - swooshable without almost any technic bricks. When you build it in real life and it is sturdy enough you can check what you can take away again without risking stability
  4. When you compare your MOC with the offical set 75181 you can see that their connection without greebling is 5 plates high with technic bricks in the middle and additional support below by plates with pin hole 2444. As your engine would have a similar weight two plates for the connection will not be enough. Maybe 4 plates can make it but I would say if you use liftarms or better technic bricks you can attach the greebling directly to the technic bricks.
  5. nice piece of work - well done greeblings and very good overall design! I simply would try either https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=48183#T=C or https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=43719#T=C to replace the yellow wedge plates. On such bigger models built in real life such small deviations are neglectable and will by anyway only noticed by some true nerds if at all. The connection from body to the engines look also a little thicker on the pictures. For stability reasons it would be good to incorporate maybe two liftarms in each connecting part?
  6. please try to replace it with 70904 in the xml https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=70904&name=Rubber Belt Large (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 4 x 4&category=[Rubber Band & Belt]#T=S&O={"iconly":0}
  7. yes, it was this one. We also had the discussion here around page 200 - don't know exactly where
  8. Now 930 new parts are listed on brickset - so bad they cannot be ordered yet...
  9. here an (actually not such) fast build for the lattice -and the bottle is full -1,5kg. The diagonal liftarms need to be in both directions. I connected the orange liftarms with perpendicular liftarms https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=71710. The diagonal liftarms I did with nine long liftarms put on a triangle with 5-5-7, better would be 3-4-5 of course, than you have also a little more space, too. My first post with pictures - I hope that works
  10. here my two cents to the stand which looks a little adventurous . I would propose a "T" and the vertical part in the center of the gravity. For the vertical stand you need to attach some diagonal liftarms similar to a lattice crane. Also the horizontal part should have a double layer of liftarms with diagonal enforcement. Also you can add some some liftarms to the base to gain a bigger support plate. If that works it will look more elegant than the part supporting the cockpit
  11. so cool - perfect presentation
  12. so today the instructions were first reduced by 30% and then fully cancelled on rebrickable. I bought some time ago the Tie Bomber instructions which I checked now again. I did not build it yet and will most probably also not, some points didn't please me. From the instruction point of view there was one big repeating topic - putting technic bricks with pins on plates and then adding other technic bricks. Of course this does not work and you have to find your way. Such things (and others) also happened in early instructions from other moccers. This was clearly showing to me three points: - not much experience with building with technic bricks (I would not call it building Lego Technic, this would be a little different) - the instructions were not tested and approved - and it was proving that the Mocopolis has more experiences with constructing buildings and let's say city dioramas It is a pity for you that you had such a bad example of bigger Mocs. Maybe you would have more luck with Thomins Tie Defender which is in a smaller scale I assume.
  13. you can simply change the url: e.g. from de-de to en-us or en-gb -that works very well ...
  14. one point is that the omission of the new parts will help to decrease the current delay of 6 weeks. Of course we don't know how much new parts are preferred against others but at least for many people here on EB these are preferred. And at some time they want to sell their new parts again - they don't want to keep them. Anyway also older parts are not visible currently, e.g. 65617 has no parts in other colors available, not only the new one i reddish brown
  15. I would not worry so much about it - they will come backat sometime. I can imagine some mess in the config data related to this change, such things can happen in IT (but should not).
  16. nice work, will add them at some time to my cantina
  17. and here it is: https://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6353802
  18. At first I also liked the set - then I saw the price and compared it to another model of the last years with the same price. This was 42095 with two motors, yes with less pieces but motorized. So for me it is not worth it anymore.
  19. yep, order done -thank you. I'm pretty astonished that these unprinted canopies are there
  20. you can call them of course only during office hours which depend on country. You can call the service days later because the order will be put into a queue and as long as it is not being processed it can be combined. And processing is taking days or weeks anyway.
  21. first point: first login then start ordering. 2nd, you can create two or three orders. Afterwards you can call the service and let them combine the orders.
  22. Dinosaur or not. I checked the instructions and it is a goold old technic brick creations - very nicely done. If I would build it I would need to replace some stuff luckilyI have most of the technic parts from the sets of that time. But one question first - are the smaller tires also fitting: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32019#T=C ? Or are they looking too small? I also just saw 5571 on BL where tires were replaced with the vintage tires 3740 24 x 43 Technic, Solid - https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3740#T=C What is your tip?
  23. and here you find some pictures of the cabling: https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=74562 But it is a pretty expensive MOC for people who don't have 5590 and all technic sets from the 80's and 90's
  24. here it is: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-0830/conv-Grazi/tow-truck/#comments and still avalable!
