  1. Well, call me hyped about this wave! The War machine is not only a great figure, but also similar to the iron man armor from the game (the game calls it of iconic suit). Which leads me to some thinking. IIRC, Iron Man is present in four sets (!?). And the game already revealed two alternative suits: the Original Sin one (black and gold) and the Starboost one (white and gold, it will appear in the Marvel Legends line). I wonder if these two new suits are in the Lego sets, along with the iconic armor rereleased. What do you think?
  2. Overall, the Thanos mech for me is the best of the bunch. Something new with a figure with leg printing. It has a gauntlet with all the stones (even if it has the 4 fingers/ 5 fingers issue pointed by @Guyon2002). The avengers truck is actually cool, has a unique feel, differently from previous ones. If the AIM soldiers had leg printing (like the ultron drones had), the wave would already be a lot better. My concern now is: are the chest piece of the mechs printed pieces or stickers?
  3. After seing all this game figs, it is clear to me they are true heirs of the MCU figs we got in the past: no leg printing for Thor and Cap, and Iron Man receives the most attention to detail. It is shame, because a expected more. But I think the figs which could be way better with leg printing are the AIM soldiers. Their torso is nice, but after Ultron minions no minions had leg printing anymore. Also, I can't help but see the AIM soldiers as traditional yellow minifigs with bare arms ...
  4. The Jay Garrick fig s really nice! The helmet is a bit big, but I think it works. The fact it does not have side hair actually helps, because the fig then fits both the original appearance (with dark hair) and the more known appearances (with white hair). I'm surprised the Superman is not the FA. We already were missing the New 52 Supes., now there are two of them missing...
  5. So we are getting sets based on the Avengers game? I am definitely surprised! We didn't know if the chinstrap on Caps' headpiece meant a MCU or Avengers Assemble design, turns out it is actually from the game. Let's hope the other minifigs have leg printing too. I gotta say I'm a little disappointed we are getting this armor, which is very realistic, over a comic one, in Yellow/Bright Red.
  6. Thanos helmet looks very weird, but the rest of the minifig is great (leg printing!), even if it is not the MCU Thanos. I'll try to be positive and hope that inside the Mech the helmet will look less oversized. Expecting to see the Iron Man and Spidey from the mechs. AIM soldiers are a nice addition, assuming they have new helmets. Indeed, I agree with you on this.
  7. Wow, so many leaks! 90s Aquaman is superb, and Mister Miracle has great printing. I'm not bothered by the reuse of Aquaman's head and hairpieces, because it fits well to this version. The lack of new mold for WW hairpiece is disappointing, however. As is a character with plain lack legs in a CMF (Bumblebee). If she doesn't require leg printing, she is then suitable for a regular set, not the CMF. I like Golden Age Cheetah, because she is in Alex Ross DC villains poster, together with the Sinestro we will get. On the Deathstroke discussion, I think Lego would give him the ANAD Iron Man helmet in orange, with dark blue printing on one side. I would like to see his rebirth look. For the 4 spots left, my guesses (some obvious) are First appearance Superman, Flash Jay Garrick, Super Friends Lex and New 52 Black Adam
  8. Kingdom Come sounds the best Supes version to be made in the CMF. But they could also do "not Superman" versions, like Superman Cyborg and Superboy (the classic designs from Reign of Supermen). These minifigures would have great printings. Maybe its Ssslaaadee from Teen Titans Go! To the Movies
  9. Wow, this series promises a lot! They are really mixing old designs (Cyborg, Batman) with recent versions (Simon Baz and Huntress). From the leaked minifigs so far, Metamorpho stands out, as also Cyborg. I initially thought the number of heroes and villains would be balanced, but we've seen 6 heroes for only one villain. Expecting to still see Booster Gold, Mr Miracle and Black Adam.
  10. Yeah, I would say there are three possibilities: Worst-case scenario: One set with two minifigs (BW and Taskmaster). Probable scenario: One set with three minifigs (BW, Taskmaster, and Yelena). Best-case scenario: Two sets with five minifigs in total (Taskmaster, Red Guardian, Yelena and two different BWs, in grey and white suits).
  11. You're right, man! Definitely good news!
  12. Wow! Those are very affordable prices! The number of pieces is promising for a single mech (assuming it is just one). It is higher than any sole Mighty Micros, SW Microfighters and Nexo Knights Battle Suits. I hope it comes with one good regular minifig, as in Microfighters, rather than two so different from the regular line, as in MMs.
  13. The new Cap Head is very nice! I hope the torso is a new print, but unfortunately I have no expectations of Cap having leg printing. He will probably just have the dark blue plain legs. I am still confused why we are getting a comic Hawkeye when we are missing Endgame Ronin... The odds of having both in the same wave are really low, right?
  14. I hope some of these mechs are inspired from actual comic mechs, like Saturn V or Fin fang Foombuster for Iron Man and Sp//Dr for Spiderman (or even Leopardon from Supaidaman ). Regarding Thanos mech, the only thing interesting I could see is if the set has an alternate build: the Thanoscopter. The double bladed sword could become the helicopter blades .
  15. It would be very cool if it was actually the Iron Patriot suit from Endgame, in a red/blue mech.
  16. The head appears to be based on Matt Fraction Hawkeye. Probably it won't have leg printing (plain black legs work), so let's hope he has dual molded arms for the black sleeves.
  17. Yeah, I'm expecting something on the "display type", like the BrickHeadz were. On another note, I saw there is a set from Ninjago which is a mech with 154 pieces and three minifigs, for $15. It's 70665, from the legacy collection. I wonder if the three Marvel mechs will follow this pattern since they have very similar piece counts. If they do, I think they can be good sets. An affordable price for 3 minifigs, and the mechs with mini ball joints are nice.
  18. Interesting. I was thinking in the Baxter Stockman one, which was used for the Shield agent a while ago.
  19. Yeah, it's light grey with silver and some glowing highlights.
  20. I see a resemblance of BP in the head, it even has a brighter chin as BP does in the comics. Among the recent designs that could be in the sets, I would like to see the Superior Iron Man. It appeared in Lego Avengers game before and is a very unique suit.
  21. The eyes are indeed odd for the IW version. But then, what are the bald versions of Thanos in the comics? The farmer Thanos?
  22. The Thanos minifig head is nice. Interestingly, it does not have an alternate face print. It could imply a bald Thanos minifig, based on the IW version.
  23. Wow, the Guardians ship looks really cool after seeing the review. The pod is also nice, along with the selection of minifigures. I subscribe to this feeling, I also don't have the other milanos as well any guardians.
  24. Thanks man! Looking that way, you may be right!
