I have no idea who the Owl is. Or Leap Frog. I only know Stilt Man because of memes. Going by the logic explained in the Bugle designer interview, none of these characters will ever appear in a set unless they make an appearance in the MCU. And if they do make an appearance in the MCU, they would be so toned down that they're virtually unrecognisable (Batroc).

Why does everyone seem to think Delta Squad has any chance of appearing again? Especially in Bad Batch? Maybe EA will remake the game like they remade Battlefront, but I don't strongly believe they would even do that. Anyway, they'd just use Invincible Iron Man helmets for the figures and everyone would complain.

+1. We get it, he has an arrogant and entitled persona in a lot of his videos. So I deal with it by just not watching them. We don't need 3 pages of complaining about him every time he's brought up.

I certainly wouldn't pick up comic Guardian sets. Well maybe if they had a cool ship, but otherwise nah. I remember they were in Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but they were so unmemorable I, well, don't remember anything about them.

Only if they update the mold. I truly hate how the legs can't move. I don't get people saying those characters were obscure. Am I a bigger DC fan than I thought? The only DC comic I've read is Neil Gaiman's Sandman because Neil Gaiman wrote it, and yet I knew all the characters from just growing up watching Batman: Brave and the Bold, Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans. I feel like I should mention that I have watched other DC stuff but all characters in the cmf have been spotlighted in those three, except for Green Lantern Simon Baz, who I've heard of but know nothing about (aside from him carrying a gun).

I think the sanctum is just a bit smaller than a modular building, so the size leap would be even more jarring than the picture posted with the bugle next to the modulars somewhere in the last few pages

Not true for anything outside the OT. We STILL don't have a Saw Gerrera figure despite him being a major character who's appeared in multiple things set between episodes 3 and 4. We don't have Rise of Skywalker Palpatine, the main villain of the film. We don't have Dryden Voss (and yet we got Crimson Dawn Maul, who appeared for all of 30 seconds as a teaser for the never-to-be-made Solo 2).

The only reason I want a CMF is because they're so damn cagey about making new clone helmets these days I feel like the only way we'll get a new one with pegholes for clones with visors, clones with rangefinders and clones with binocular attachments is if they make one for a CMF series, where they're notoriously fine with making dozens of new molds, even for one-off uses

They said that they don't include figures they think kids wouldn't recognize in regular sets, but surely the Spider-Man cartoon running right now would make kids would recognise Spidey characters who aren't in any of the movies. They did comic-but-really-show waves with characters I'd never even heard of but apparently appeared in the avengers cartoon (Hyperion, Detroit Steel, Super Adaptoid) a couple of years ago, did they not sell well or something? Is that why they've refused to make characters who kids may be familiar with from the cartoons in recent years? Apparently Lizard and Jackal are primary villains in the Spider-Man show, be nice if we could get them instead of the billionth Venom or Carnage fig.

Which I was doing??? It's not like I was just spoiling the movie left and right, I only talked about elements of the plot - in terms as vague as I could reasonably get - which were directly linked to the sets, under 2 layers of spoiler tags (and another layer above the thing which was actually a major spoiler). And I wouldn't have mentioned anything if I didn't know that other people had read them too.

I read it, I think it sounds pretty good. As always though, the execution could make or break it. Also MAJOR FILM SPOILERS (not off topic, it's about the sets)

The dialogue doesn't give me hope, but it's visually gorgeous, by far the best the MCU has ever looked - I could see it getting a cinematography nom.

In which case it would be 1) CMF 2) New Asgard house 3) Sanctuary 2 (don't have high hopes personally, I just hope it at least looks decent on display) 4) Mech (hope it's the WW2 Iron Man suit purely for the olive green parts but otherwise it doesn't sound too interesting either way) 5) Advent Calendar (my hype for this plummeted like a rock after hearing how many uninteresting repeats from cheap sets there are, and I don't like the ugly sweater figures they've started doing recently - I preferred Santa/Snowmen variants)
