Honestly, I also don't know the limitations of RF. However, wifi and bluetooth are still relatively expensive. Completely agree on that Indeed...That makes a lot of sense. However, that will definitely affect retro compatibility with existing trains

You are welcome In my opinion, I believe that it's neither wifi nor bluetooth, but RF instead. RF is cheaper and overcomes some of the IR limitations, without the overhead of bluetooth. But I'm just guessing...

Somebody just posted the leaked set images on reddit (2018 TRAINS (New power functions?)) https://www.reddit.com/r/LEGOtrains/ While the passenger train is very similar to the leaked one we have seen before, the cargo train is slightly different.

Hi all (new member here :) ) Even the color scheme of the leaked passenger train resembles some trains in Portugal. I also have mixed feelings about these trains, I'm impatiently waiting for the end of the month.
