Oh boy, did swear to my wife that enough was enough, no more Lego Technics. I lied, divorce imminent! So, after a couple of weeks glaring at this MOC i decided to bow to the inevitable and give it a bash. After a very long session on Brick owl I think that I have ordered all the parts, but I have ignored the colours just because that was far to expensive. So I am going to have a mismatch but the fun is in the build. I have 5 Technic sets and have built 2 MOC's, one of them the Grove crane, great fun & challenging. Hope my work bench is big enough, I have enough storage space for all the bits and the post office can cope with all the parcels coming my way. Thank you for all your efforts in designing this, it beats me how you think up ways to make loads of bits of plastic become an engineering marvel. Starting to build soon, but first got to disassemble the Grove crane, no mean feat in itself. Colin

Brilliant, thank you. Can I have more help please? which instructions are which? I am at the moment working to the suspension version, which shows part no 6573 and instruction file 1.2. This also shows large motors(I think) which instructions is it for the other version you refer to? Thank you for the help Colin

Hi all, Just started building this crane, its my first MOC and need some help. I do not have all the parts as yet but thought i would make a start. The parts itinerary lists wanting 6 of 62821. However looking at the building instructions it looks as if these should be 6 of 6573. Am I going mad or are 6573 the correct items. Yes I think that I have mixed up codes, havnt got my head around this as yet. Many thanks Colin

Hi, I am also a newbie to Lego Technics. Looking at a couple of MOC to build, cranes, love the mechanical actions. Having looked at the parts inventory I notice that the "Receivers" are included, but not the "Transmitters?Controllers". What is the reason for this please?

Just found this site by seing a clip from lego technics, The Akiyuki Project they were fantastic, such genius. Feel inspired to build one myself, just got to work out the parts I need. My first Technics build was a Pull and go car, for grandson, he wasnt much interested unfortuantly, however that led to me getting the Mercedes Benz truck. Loved it. Missus wasnt to impressed because she thought it would take weeks to do. Finished it in about 10 hours. Getting the crane for Xmas, yippeee. Second build was the star wars Desert Skiff. Grandson liked that one. Going to need help with ordering parts for the Next build.
