Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
TurnOffTheDark replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
So as of now the Quantumania set is a May release, and the piece count is 289 pieces. I think we are getting only one build in this set and 3 figures. My money is on Modok being the build and the three figs being Ant-Man, Kang, and Hope -

we will be lucky if the Ant-Man figure even resembles his suit seen in the movie This is the first time I can recall a lego set based on an MCU film is coming out after the movie does (if March still holds true) -

Technically the Penguin Face-Off lego set from a few years ago is inspired by Batman Returns. There's so many blatant design choices in that set that it is hard to convince me otherwise that the designer didn't take inspiration from that movie I'm terrified that the batman in that set will be Batfleck ☠️☠️ watch it be Batfleck and his armored batcycle seen in the prelude comic -

I'm pretty sure the only flash movie set we are getting is that flash tracking batmobile set for $44. As for Aqua man, I think we'd get 1 set at most for it -

So the flash film is testing really well, and as of now is on track to keep it's current release date. Hopefully we get that new set based on the movie and it actually releases -

the 2 sets that have my interest so far are the quintet and IW hulkbuster set. I think the ppp ratio in them are okay plus the minifigs are sure to be interesting. I'm a sucker for smaller mech sets too so I'll probably get this one over the Hulkbuster D2C -

I'd love sets based on the incredible hulk, such an overhated film -

so lego is hyper fixated on Black Panther this year for some reason....we are getting 4 regular sets based on Black Panther (5 if you count the small mech that came out earlier this year) and a whole d2c. Very weird indeed -

So the sets based on the original movies have a chance of coming early 2023? I am very interested in the temple of doom set as I've always wanted original one from 2007 but I missed out on it :,( -

I don't mind an icons style set. No minifigs doesn't bother me too much. Whatever it'll be will be incredibly detailed at that price point and inevitable large piece count -

People hate the hogwarts express set? It is literally a phenomenal build and has a great selection of figs. I don't know what more lego could've done with that specific set. As for the $500 set, So long as it is a location build I'll be content -

When do you guys think the daily bugle set will retire? I want to purchase it again so I have a sealed copy. They normally don't retire popular D2C's like that after 1 year right? Maybe atleast until the end of 2023
