  1. hey i think this is really neat. I love how you used the colors and made it look like olivanders just super sized. I also love the idea of a mens clothing store. very nice work. I bet it looks good with the other modulars. Thank you for sharing Charlie
  2. I just looked through this whole topic and I'm just amazed! I know there are some very smart and creative people out there and I know LEGOs can be used to make any number of things but you my friend are a lego god. I think your models are so amazing they have so much detail and are so beautiful. my favorites are the the grey hound bus, the corvette, the green car at the beginning and the ghostbusters car! I can't believe the detail that you have but in them. I wish LEGO would do a realistic car series. Are any of these on Cuusoo? IF they are you have my vote. Very very nice work. Im going back to oogle over them again Charlie
  3. Thank you both for the fantastic ideas. Malleable I love the vertical sign and the half record. I really appreciate the help. If I send you a pm with my email address is there any way you can email me the vertical sign file. I'm really no good with Lego letters. Thank you so much Charlie
  4. Thank you both I will look into both options Thanks again Charlie
  5. HI So I am kind of new to digital lego design and am looking for a better piece of design software than LDD. I was looking at LDraw and brick smith. I downloaded Brick smith but am finding it kind of hard to use and was having issues downloading LDraw on my computer. I am running on a Mac book pro with OS Lion. I have found that LDD only allows you to rotate the bricks in 6 directions. left, right, forward, back, up and down. But if you are trying to do a spiral staircase you can't. And I also noticed that LDD is missing quiet a few bricks. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them Thank you Charlie
  6. Hi I just moved from Seattle to the UK. And I know brick con isn't until october but there is a LEGO User Group that meets monthly. I don't now when their next meeting is but I know its open to anyone. They are called Sealug. Look at their website and you might have to send an email but I'm sure you could go to their meeting if they meet during the time your there. Also they just opened a new LEGO store in the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. There is also a store in Bellevue Square. Have fun in seattle its a really great place Charlie
  7. Hi Everyone Im working on a LDD Modular Record Shop and I know how I want to build the store but I'm trying to figure out an idea for a sign for it. making words out of Lego is really the toughest part of building. Does any one have any ideas on how to make a sign that says records? I'm using a 16 stud wide base. Any ideas are welcome and would really help. They can be horizontal or vertical. It could even be a half record that sits on a 10 wide base. Thanks Charlie
  8. wow very nice! I too saw the LDD and from that thought it was great but now that its been built in bricks I think its awesome. would look great if you did a large scale moc of the winter village and have it deicing the roads! again very cool Charlie
  9. Wow this is beautiful! I really really like it. Nice work. Does it look good with the other modulars? Nice work! Charlie

  11. I will be getting one too when I saw this go up on cuusoo I was so excited I followed it all the way through to review and was disappointed to see it was rejected by Lego but I am sooo happy you have done this I can't wait to display it and show all my friends. Thank you for doing this I'm sure you have made a lot of people very happy Charlie
  12. Thank you both I appreciate the offer but I'm going to get them on eBay. Thank you Charlie
  13. Hi everyone I was looking to get some suggestions. I am trying to create a hellboy fig. I have what I want to use as a face http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb389 I also know that I will use a plain red torso and red hands. I will probably try and paint on a buff looking body on it But I am trying to decide on pants, a good looking revolver similar to the iconic one he always has. Also I'm trying to find a way to do a brown long coat and how to do the horn stumps on his forehead. I thought of doing the version of him when he had full horns and using the helmet TLG used for Loki but then that doesn't look like it is a part of his head. Any suggestions would be great Thank you Charlie
  14. HI I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pay paypal for Marvel superhero and Monster fighter sets. 17. WOW! this is sooooo beautiful!. I really can't wait to see pictures of it totally built!. I really don't know what to say about it I'm just aw struck! I have two questions though what program is this designed in? and I keep seeing the acronym SNOT what does this stand for? Again very nice work I really like it. Charlie
  18. Ok so I love log cabins in real life so when I think of a log cabin this is exactly what I think of. A cozy one room cabin in the middle of the forest. So on the design and execution very very nice work! Now the interior. I LOVE IT! the moose is sooo cool I would never have thought to use droid parts for it. Great job, I can't take my eyes off of the pictures. Charlie
  19. I considered the fact that factory and design by me have be shut down but cuusoo is now up and running so if a modular hits 10,000 and they like it we could see them use that as a modular. My reason behind my thinking is that Lego released two middle section buildings before making the grand emporium which signaled that we had turned the corner. But in there was also a fan built building( market street) so i believe before we see another corner building we will see another middle section building. And I just thought based on history it could be another fan built building that's just what I was thinking because Lego seems to be including their fans more and more in there design process. Just my thoughts Charlie
  20.   WOW!!! excellent work I think these are amazing. I would buy these in a heart beat! I will make sure I support them!!! Good work I am in love with them all i don't think I can even choose a favorite but if i real really had to I think it would be the tibet one or the Chitzen Itza. Very nice work Charlie
  21. This building is othing less then brilliant very very nice work! I love the details on the exterior but I'm also impressed with the interior I love your idea for lamps and the instruments. Really nice work Charlie
  22. Based on Jamie's comment I reckon it will be either a restaurant, bakery or catering school. As for what I would like to see. I would LOVE a butchers shop. I would also love a movie theater or a broadway theater. A bank, a courthouse, and ice cream parlor, a diner, mueseum would also be really nice. I don't think the next set will a corner set because although it is a factory set it is still in the form of a modular so I believe that it will be a middle building. I also wouldnt be surprised if it will be another fan built building. Those are my thoughts. I love modulars and I hope they keep them coming. I wish they would do two a year. Charlie
  23. Sam829 I really like your Norman Osborne and uncle Ben.
  24. Hi I am looking to purchase a Nesquick Bunny Mini figure from the Studio Series but I don't want to pay an arms and a leg for it. I am bidding on one now on ebay but Im not sure how high to go. It is unsealed and has been used. I see that sealed one on brick link are 45 US dollars or higher. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you Charlie
