  1. I have always thought that Babylon 5 was the best Sci-Fi TV show ever made. They had some fantastic ship designs and this version of the Agamemnon is just stunning. They could have used this Lego model in the TV show.
  2. Hi all, This is my first post so please allow for poor photo quality I liked the 2001 movie and decided to try and build the Aries 1B shuttle in Lego. I have not seen anyone else try this, I expect it is mainly because of the spherical shape makes it very challenging. You can't really give to much detail with Lego spheres. Here are my pictures I really wanted to do this in white bricks but I did not have the £300 it would have cost to get all these bricks in white so grey it has to be. As mentioned one can't really add much detail to a Lego sphere so I could only really add windows, door, landing legs and rocket motors. Added pilots window in top. The movie shows they had red backlights so I used red bricks here. I did think about adding real lighting effects but decided since the Lego sphere is so crude it was not worth the extra effort. The rocket motors should have been hexagonal in shape but trying to do that in a 4 by 4 square was pretty impossible, so I ended up just doing square rockets hope you like it.
