  1. It's definitely not bad because tastes differ I missed out on the 2011 version so I'd be happy to get a new one. I'd also love to get more shops than in 2011 so the high price tag would be reasonable to me. But I can understand that people are not willing to pay $/€400 for a Lego set. This is a lot of money.
  2. Yes, me too. Seems like everything we looked forward to the last few weeks turns out to be nothing. Well, considering the store system info it is not absolutely unlikely to get a $400 DA. Let's keep at least some of the hope alive
  3. I didn't know that you have that much RRPs in UK - but hey, the discounts are pretty impressive
  4. If he'd sold multiple ones I would have bought all of them for a Ford Anglia army building. Joke! There are slight differences in the details. The sides of the two cars are built a bit differently (now the use a sticker on either side) and the hood uses a different piece
  5. I should've mentioned that I'm talking especially about the D2C and the CMF, sorry for the confusion.
  6. As far as I remember, Kingnono always spells Diagon Alley in full. But however, your clue could still make sense! Well, he's the only one that gives us hints this year. Without him, we would know...nothing I guess? So I don't complain. I like his riddles but I agree with you in some extent, the last ones got a little bit repetitive and abstract (maybe he can't tell us anything more because...the reveal is coming up very soon? ) . I also have the feeling that his earlier hints have been discussed more enthusiastically in this thread. Despite that, it is fun for me to think about them so I'm thankful to get at least some information
  7. The fact he refers to the set name especially tells me that Diagon Alley wouldn't just be named DA but something like "... in DA"/"...at DA"/"...of DA" - Just like the Burrow which is not simply named "The Burrow" but "Attack on the Burrow". So it could be possible that the DA set represents one specific scene which takes place in one specific shop while the other shops we get are just a nice (although big) addition. I just can't get why he refers to 75978 again. I thought it has already been clarified that it won't be the DA set.
  8. Are we talking about near or far future?
  9. Otherwise his hints, especially today's one, would drive me crazy - slowly but surely
  10. I have to say that I would already be happy to see some pictures, the release is of second rank for me. But of course reveal and release correlate somehow Same, but it's a never ending story. I got into the habit of igoring them
  11. Which looks absolutely stunning on this brilliant dark red table cloth omg
  12. I totally forgot that the chamber appeared in DH again With that in mind, it totally makes sense! I would prefer a CoS version though.
  13. Why don't you think they'll make a new Basilisk? I really don't want to put up with the Great Hall one In the picture above it looks like they are sand green which would be a very odd combination together with the regular blue (or is it dark blue? I'm confused)...so I guess it's a weird reflection and they are white in fact
  14. Guys, please watch your language. We are already on parole here. Every discussion can be held peacefully, ok?
  15. Just a vague speculation from myself regarding the "almost" statement: We don't get seven Harrys, we get seven buildings: The most popular one from each year. Don't take this too serious guys Nevertheless, getting more than one Harry in this set would be scary. You totally forget his ":)" comment on @Huigberts Builds' guess about the actor that played the war doctor (time traveller) as well as Garrick Ollivander
  16. Just 50? I want 100! Who needs shops or other builds in a Diagon Alley set?
  17. This hint made me insane all week because I don't know how to interpret it I hope for everything but the second one, ten would be a little few
  18. New hint from kingnono: "Weird, that you can preorder 75981 on amazon uk and release date is 1st of june" Hmmm - what does that mean?
  19. They are on mine as well! As it's rather sure that we will get them howsoever, I'm really curious about their accessories. I would die for a Cornish Pixie that comes with Lockhart as well as for Lucius' walking stick as new molds.
  20. There are a lot of toy stores, Bricklink shops and ebay sellers where you can buy a complete set of 16 figures. They might be a little more expensive than 16 polybags - but definitely cheaper than getting lots and lots of duplicates. Just keep an eye on your country's shops I can't really imagine getting DA shops without their shopkeepers nowadays. So I would optimistically say yes (I mean, kingnono said minifig collectors would love the D2C, so )
  21. That could also explain why it's not listed as 40413 which would have been more logical for the brickhead. I like this idea! The description wouldn't make sense for any other kind of set as we already have Hagrid and Buckbeak in an existing one
  22. I checked the Lego news sites I watch regularly and yes, that was the case!
  23. This post explains it very well: Yeah, that would be pretty week, I expect more as well. I assume there is a minimum of one shopkeeper for each store included (WWW should get two, Gringotts even more) plus the usual three suspects plus a bunch of other ones fitting in the plot. I see your guess as pretty likely!
  24. I'm actually excited about every single HP set that is about to drop and I'm pretty greedy for new set images or leaks, no matter which one they show! It might just be the fact that the majority of the hints we get at the moment regard DA and that there is nothing more known about the other set than we have discussed already.
  25. Hmm...the F1 season is planned to start July 5, maybe this date has a special meaning?
