  1. I really think I should have posted the pic here earlier Thanks for the positive feedbaks, too. The clean look of the photo is a result of the training in the Reviewers Academy
  2. Hi Solscud007, you can find useful information on this subject in a previous similar topic. Please always check with the Search function beofre statring new topics in the future
  3. This is just a shot I took for Surge 2.0's review few weeks ago (I'm not sure how many SW fans venture in the Action Figures' forum ), with Luke showing off his new Blue lightsaber. I really like this deeper colour for the blade, and hope TLG will use these new pieces for future SW sets.
  4. These items have been in Will's workshop for a while now, and I hope we'll see them in production soon You may be interested in this review I wrote more than one year ago abot some BA prototypes and including the E-11 and the DL-44
  5. Happy Birthday MetroiD
  6. Thank you You can find info on how to apply decals in this Tutorial. Refer to the Index for more useful Tutorials and Tools.
  7. Hi Morgeno Skirata, I'm sure our customisers will help you with this project. My tip is a bit different: please check your spelling and capitalisation when posting. Things like "im" instead of "I'm" really make you look under-age. Thank you.
  8. Please, do not quote big posts with lots of images; it is not needed to quote the whole first post when replying in a topic. If needed, quote short text parts. Thank you. Oh, and could you please try to share your thought in English, so they are accessible to the whole community? Thanks again.
  9. You need to be a Vassal (i.e., get to 10 posts) to be allowed to use that option. As for the 'brick with hole' topic, each topic you post in (and not only those you started) should have that icon. EDIT - I see Ricecracker posted the same info while I was writing
  10. Happy Birthay NovaStar
  11. Please, jokster, try harder to improve your spelling and capitalisation. Thank you. As I said to Lord Embo, I (as well as other decal designers) will take requests when we will have time. Please avoid using multiple exclamation and question marks in your posts. Thanks.
  12. As this started from nowhere and is going nowhere, I'll close the topic.
  13. As long as you also avoid mini-modding
  14. Please refer to this Index of tutorials to learn how to use our board properly, and specifically how to Deeplink images.
  15. Maybe you should start using the Search function before posting! I'll close this now.
  16. I thought you learnt this last time Lord Embo. Please stop re-posting your requests. This thread is the archive of our members' requests. No need to re-post them. Our decal designers know they have to go back to check which requests have not been taken yet. And we do not work with fixed schedules, so stating you requested something 7 or 8 days ago means almost nothing here. All the decal designers are voluntaries, so they take requests when they can.
  17. Another wave of awsome figs, tin7 I hwo you managed to reproduce Cyclops' ruby quartz battle visor! And Storm's hair-piece is just great for The Last Stand Thanks for sharing.
  18. Thanks SilentMode. Yup, that's one of my favourite tree parts, along with this.
  19. Here we go: As I said before, you can get this pose only if you rotate the hand slightly inwards, so that the stock of the rifle points outwards. If you keep it in line with the arm, then it gets in the way and the elbow bends way less.
  20. I can take more pictures on request, of course. The only problem is I'm not sure I understand what you mean : do you want a lateral shot of Surge holding the rifle with both hands, parallel to the right arm with the left one bent at 90° over the torso? If that's the question, no, it is not possible. The elbow cannot bend more than a few degrees in that sense The other possible interpretation I see is you ask if, when holding the rifle in one hand, he can bend the elbow on the sagittal plane. Again, the answer is no: the weapon is too long to allow that movement, unless you turn it slightly outwards. If you want, I can provide pictures of this. If it is not what you want, please explain it better, and I'll see what can be done
  21. Please, if you do not lika a MOC, you are not forced to comment on it. From now on, skip this thread, and avoid attacking other members. Thank you. On a general note, please try to use English only on this international board. Native language quotes and phrases can be nice from time to time, as long as they are polite. Exchanging insults thinking we won't get them is not a good thinking: there are translators out there
  22. I'm glad you like them, and I've been waiting for Episode 3 with anticipation, too. On a more netiquette related note, please try to avoid re-viving years old topics and do not write every word with a capital. Thank you
  23. Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm glad you like it Let's hope the judges will enjoy it as much as you people do The ladder comes form an iedea that had been running in my head for some time now. I'm really pleased with how I managed to work it. The movement is quite smooth and it is funny to play with. The minifig's wearing jocks in the shower because this is a MOC for everybody, and I did not want to have to censor it Thanks buddy. As I said, I used to make hinged houses long ago, and I wanted to see how I could transport the old feature in a more mature disign. Thank you KielDaMan. I always enjoied a good detailed house, and that printed baseplate is one of my favourite: I think I have used it in every house/villa MOC I ever made I'm really happy to show you something new; indeed, this is a technique which is not used often. Thank you, Cecilie. When I read about the conetst I started looking on the net for inspiration, going through a number of real estate agencies' and furniture sites. In a couple of days, I got a folder full of pictures, then I added pictures from LEGO houses I found on Flickr and Brickshelf. In the end, I based my design on a house next to mine, and I improvised most of the furniture based on how the single rooms evolved You're too kind, crabboy329 Maybe it's the never satisfied builder taking in me, but I can already see a lot more things I could have done, but those would have made it too cramped to be enjoyable I fear Thanks for your honesty, erik530195 The front door is where the wooden platform and the small grey roof are, btw
  24. Thank you KielDaMan. Indeed, I'm very pleased with how the 'muscles' look Well, everybody has his views
  25. Hi everybody, I've been wanting to make a Family Home MOC since I bought the 8403 City House this fall, and the Family Home contest on Flickr gave me an excuse to finally start it. Here it is from the four sides. As a token to the old houses my sister and I built long years ago, I made it so it can be opened, and I added the removable floors for both linking to the modular style and alow more room for my hands The roof can be divided into two sections, with ladders to reach it from the first floor and to get to the platform on top. Here are some overviews of the rooms; more detailed pics can be found in this Brickshelf gallery, once pubblic. I tried to add as much details and life as I could, so I hope you like it Comments and critics are welcome.
