Hopefully TLG will bring over the friends' hair and accessories to regular minifig sets. TLG has been reusing hair pieces on minifigs for sometime now. I think it's time for a change in hairstyle.

love this set, even though I missed out on this set. It would complement with my battle of naboo set.

Not just the expensive shipping, I found out that Amazon.fr introduced import taxes to my pre-orders. I am hesitating now.

I like the ghosts minifig though. I missed out on the older sets with ghosts so I am not complaining now. ;)

Imagine this: Lego forest police chased the robbers into a remote part of the forest where no one has ever been before. There the robbers hid in the cave and evaded the police's radar. The robbers then discovered that the cave led to another part of the earth where dinosaurs exist. Unfortunately, the robbers were eaten by the dinosaurs. Finally the forest police tracked them down using the trails of the forest bear( as the robbers have been surviving on the bee's honey this whole time) and found this undiscovered dino land and calls in the dino specialists to save Lego CITY from dino invasion.

I suppose Olivia's workshop is more of a backyard DIY sort of thing. I would definitely get this set.

Thanks for the timely review! I am pleased that the the friends' hair is compatible with the normal minifig. The new flower parts and animals are also the reason why I am getting this set. New moulds, new designs. A must get for me! (at a sale of course) ;p

me too. it is just a scar on one of the eyes. But then again it is very observant of you to pick up such differences. I wouldn't have noticed the difference. I guess it is a mystery George Lucas has to answer.

dino sets are just great, they could easily blend in with the new 2012 city forest theme.

I agree. The transparent 2x2 round brick underneath the cannon made it even better. Now I can finally stick it onto my baseplate.

That's great! After all, Lego is all about creating and re-creating based on one's imagination. TLG will eventually expand to Asia-Pacific after conquering Europe and the States.

The review looks great! I don't mind more X-wing fighters and pilots as there are tonnes of them shown in the Star Wars movies. Luke Skywalker can be transformed into a random X-wing pilot in my moc.

The mini comic is absolutely cool. Baris Offee has really big eyes, I wonder if that is intentional or not. lol.

Nice set. Anyone knows what kind of plastic are the dinosaurs made of? I know Lego uses ABS plastic but I just want to be sure. I won't be forking out extra cash for inferior goods.

You can try pick a brick and recreate those minis yourself. It shouldn't be too expensive.

Certainly hope the that Lego won't resort to substandard, low quality mf parts and bricks. I will be terribly disappointed that such a fantastic theme would be paired with low quality parts.

Bought several At-Ot walkers and grand emporiums few days ago, and they went out of stock within few hours. All shipped via UPS Lucky steal!
