  1. It's allready said... But Z that guardian:
  2. That's a nice creation, I really like the roof and the woodwork. But it could indeed use some surroundings. That always adds a lot to a creation!
  3. It's actually almost finished, but I'm more busy with sorting than building at the moment Indeed! I wish I could visit, but that would be a bit expensive! Maybe you're right and "assignment" is a better word to use. And it's about creating Valholl, so it's kinda gonna be a community effort. And the best thing is, I'm not entering. Mostly because in consultation with the Jarl I'm the one who made some "assignments". To help some of us start building again! And yes you've allready made some great buildings for Valholl, so I think the Jarl should come up with a title that should fit you for that effort Never enough titles! And those are just rumours, the people of Ondylion are proud to have Elon as there leader. And I heard Blaze hunted down some orcs so they aren't much for a treath. But seriously I think titles are a good replacement for prizes, because prizes have to come from someone and we don't have a basket filled with prizes that never gets empty!
  4. @ Cara that dragon sure is a beauty! And indeed, there are quite some builds from Mitgardia already! But never enough! And about building in Valholl. There will be mini-challenges for Valholl soon, with new titles and prizes! So for now try to build other things. And not enough ideas, here are a few. Rural: Mills, Farms, Farmers plowing, orchards and more. Industrial: Blacksmiths, Mining-scenes, Tailors and so on. Architecture: Bridges(we got a lot of rivers so we need a lot of them), monasteries, and not to forget villages. Valholl is nothing without supporting villages. So no need to focus that much on Valholl Still not knowing what to build?!
  5. I must say: "I'm glad to have you on our side!" Beacuse with builds and stories like this, Mitgardia will be scoring points in no time! But it's all about lego so I will mention a few details I really liked. I also really liked the footsteps in the snow, the floor and furniture in the cabin, the doors of the mines and the snow at Mount Northrend. I saw you make photo's with your Iphone, I think if it's possible to take the photo's outside some of the photo's will be even better to show your mocs! Keep up the good work!
  6. I wouldn't say no too, but knowing myself a bit. I will still be building most of the challenge a day or two before the deadline. Altough I also struggle with a serious lack of time I think almost two months for this challenge is surely enough! But I wouldn't mind if it will be extended with a week or so. btw, my guardian is ready! So now I will need to build a surrounding, but I think I will focus more on free-builds!
  7. Nice job and indeed maybe a bit futuristic, but as leonardo davinci dreamed of flying, the Woodward is dreaming of fully working "mecha's"
  8. Indeed very promising!
  9. Sweet story and great job on the minifigs!
  10. Altough you think it's basic, I like it. I like the surroundings even more. Like the water and the vegetation with the chesseslopes (btw, so you're joining Mitgardia and LCC. That will take is serious amount of your time!)
  11. Sounds interesting indeed. But will there be tags for GoH as whole or tags for like Mitgardia?
  12. Great creation! Very creative, and an eye for detail. Like the windows, ornamentation, the minifigs and the base it's build on! And ofcourse not to forget, the guardians! Awesome idea. Altough it's not a dragon, I think it's as dangerous as one Also nice to use quinn a lot in mocs as a second character!
  13. Indeed! Lets find some crystals! Great to see Jitran is still in the competion. Not to bad for a swordsman
  14. •Hello I'm proud to say I'm from the mighty Mitgardia •I am very active Builder and Member and hoping to stay that for as long as possible! •Comment on what you like about GoH; I like all the the stories off the different guilds and all the challenges that come with it. And that you can be part of that. You can be a part of making/creating how the guild is this day. The best part that comes a long with that, is that it pushes everyone to improve their buildingskills(what is more important!). Important is also to get feedback and compliments and give feedback and compliments. This is what makes the guilds come so alive. •Comment on things that could be improved; First of all great to give us the change for giving feedback on this great community! A lot of members asked for seeing the score of all the free-builds. I think it won't hurt if there would be something like a scoreboard. I know the score of my embassy, But I also like to know how my free-builds did and I made quite some off those. No feedback, just knowing the score would be great. And than you also have a better view of how the total score came to be for a guild. Because it's hard to face, but Mitgardia didn't do that well this last round. And seeing why based on score would explane a lot! About the prizes. Let's face it, altough titles and nice comments can be enough for some of us. Prizes are needed for keeping people building. I think it's also a sort off appreciation if you win. And that works better when you're able to give out some more but smaller prizes. It's great to win a joust, but only one can win. To have more winners like in round one is/will be much more motivating. And about the motivation of building challenge three I totally agree with Erynlasgalen. No size limit, will be a giant turn off for a lot of builderds. I know bigger isn't always better, but is moslty more impressive. And building more scenes for one challenge... it doesn't feel right to me. But that is just my opinion, because to me it feels like entering with more mocs is entering more than once. Although it's nice to tell a story that way. About the time to build, two months is really fine. This challenge takes a lot of my time next to a job so keep it that way And to keep people building, a lot smaller challenges given out be guild leaders will help to keep te guild building because nog everyone can come up with a "free"build. And like NiceMarmot, some help for guild-leaders is a good idea. For example Derfel is on vacation now and it would help if someone could take over a bit of his tasks. Like making someone a right-hand of the guild-leader. Also because the guild-leaders also don't have all the time of the world. About the judging. I like the way it's going now. Because, I trust that the guild-leaders give out points also on how someone did build. Did he/she try to put a lot of effort in the moc and judge also that. If you go for public voting, mostly the most votes go to the most impressive one. And afols who just start building will be dissapointing because they can see they haven't got a vote yetor much lesser votes! -If the GoH concept was applied to another Theme would you participate? Other than castle/fantasy? I think not. But I'm not sure what to expect: GoH goes Star Wars?! In our guild I noticed a lot of inactive members, I don't now for sure other guilds also have that problem. But isn't this also because of LCC?! For I know that's also a growing community. This is all for now I think, if I come up with something I will edit this post!
  15. I think it's a great idea that I'm gonna use some day!
  16. Looks indeed better now the hight is fixed. I especially like the colors you used!
  17. Ecclesiastes

    New Town

    That's looking promissing!
  18. Indeed, a great touch for detail here!
  19. I saw this one on the Lowlug-meeting. And I can say it again, it does look great. Especially the stonework and rockwork
  20. Really nice, all the attention for the environment like the trees and the elevation. And ofcourse the houses and especially the tower look great.
  21. Really nice mocs! And again all the "plate-technics" are looking great, especially whit the arches.
  22. Great moc! Some nice work on the walls, the fountain and the garden, but I especially like the all the woodwork.
  23. Nice story with some great minifig action! Btw I really like the design of the chair.
  24. Nice vignette, some nice details like the curtains, and the candle. And also a nice touch to have an inside and outside!
