Wow - these turned out great! I didn't realize that it would be much more than a recoloring job either, but the differences are noticeable from you original trilogy TIEs. I think the time and effort you've put into these was well worth the effort - fantastic job!

Amazing! I love looking at my U-Wing every day (I'm Blue Squadron 104) and I can't wait to get the instructions and build this masterpiece too - thank you for sharing these with us Mirko!

Blue Squadron 107 reporting in... Hello everyone! I just joined the site so that I could join in on this thread. I placed the orders for all the necessary parts for this build and am anxiously waiting for them to arrive so that I may begin building my own copy of this fantastic MOC Mirko has created. I decided to use all new parts and sourced them from LEGO Pick a Brick, LEGO Bricks & Pieces and Bricklink. All told, the parts cost me about $600 US dollars (the most expensive parts being the 2 canopy pieces and the 2 boat weights). Iām looking forward to the build and having this model on display!
