8860 - Car Chassis - No set will ever be able to beat my childhood memories of being brought that set one cold (And I would like to think) snowy Scottish Christmas. 8448 - Super Street Sensation - A set that not only brought me out of my time in the wilderness away from Lego, but also introduced me to why studless Lego was the way forward. Also every time I rebuild it I get to choose which version I want to build! 42056 - Porsche 911 GT3 RS - Whilst it could be considered the weakest of the modern surge of 1:8th cars, I still think this is my favourite. Not just for the door that it opened for us all, but its overall build quality and style. It may not not have the bodywork style of the later cars, but when it is on display next to all the others it is always by far my favourite. 3804 - Robotics Invention System - Sue me ok! As the 8448 brought me back to Technic, 3804 brought me into Mindstorms (Enough that it was even part of my masters degree!!) It was always on my plans to return to Mindstorms at some point so the announcement to discontinue it a couple of years ago still feels like a stab to the heart 2 years later. But planning to return is not returning so maybe I must take part of the blame. Ian...

Hello fellow plastic lovers... For one of my first times in 40 years of building Lego, I am finding myself stumped an instruction step that I can't solve/understand what is intended. On step 380 of the 42125 Instructions, you have to install two white flags to a 3l black bar: The first issue I saw was that the bars in my set were 4l, but this was not a major issue. However I very quickly realised that the flags would not attach to the bar fully as they interfered with the thin liftarms: Looking at other reference material (RacingBricks build review for example) I can see that I am not alone with issues here (The statistics on that video show a lot of people looking at that particular step). However I have been unable to find any posts referencing this issue which makes me think am I the wrong one here, and do I need to hang up my building hat??? Appreciate your input! Ian...

This is a real shame to hear, but I guess not overly surprising. Mindstorms brought me out of my Lego dark ages in the late 90's, and I still love my RCX sets partly for this nostalgia. I have always planned to get back into Mindstorms, but just kind of never got round to it for one reason or another. Goodbye fair Mindstorms, and thank you for bringing me back to Lego... Ian...

Looks fantastic @Jim, well done! Annoyingly I chose black/brown as the colour of furniture in my study/Lego room, and getting decent drawers in this colour is a challenge. Unfortunately IKEA stopped selling the drawers @kbalage uses in black/brown recently which is a touch annoying! However I am now tempted to add a couple of PAX cabinets into my room next year with black doors and just deal with the white frames for the benefits of the additional drawers. Looking forward to some great Mindstorms builds from you with this room. :) Ian...

I know it's been hot in the UK recently... It is interesting to have two mould errors in a single set. Wonder if it was a single moulding issue or if there are bucket load of parts out there with this error. Ian... -
This would be my guess sadly, and understandable too. Ian...
