I love it! A great set with lots of neat details. And I still haven´t unpacked nor built any of the three former winter sets.

We were there. Extremely nice idea, shooting from the locomotives. How I wish it was still open at Bella Centre. :) Thansk for making the film.

Hey marshal_banana! I have already voted for this. It´s just excellent! Tell me, how many pieces did you use roughly? -
The firetruck "Red" from Pixar's "Cars"
McBuddha replied to Henning Birkeland's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great build! A funny linguistic twist with Red for a Swede is, that Rädd (pronounced just as Red in Eglish) means afraid. Suitable indeed. -
Absolutely stunning!

This is just too much to take in! The Stork is brilliant, the piano transport, the ESSO sign, the organ-grinder, the Police Citroën, the... the... the... EVERYTHING! I salute you Hoexbroe!

MOC: Alvis TA 28
McBuddha replied to marcosbessa's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi Marco Bessa! I´m eagerly awaiting a creation like this from you released by TLG. Hope you´re having fun in Billund and that the climate is ok for you. :D Still hoping for Milou to be released as an official set. ;) This car is one of my absolute favourites. Maybe I could ask you to design a front cover for a CD one day?! :) -
I just liked what I saw. And I like the fact that you did a pretty careful little showreel of such a small model. It´s really what Lego is all about, I think. The appreciation of the little things.

Very nice! Can´t see how on earth you could do that more clearly. :) Neat, simple and to the point.

"The drumkit is a wild assembly of pieces I had, and I am quite proud of it! :D" Yeah! I love the drumkit! It looks like an interesting assortment of well chosen drums from different brands. Is that a TAMA kick? Maybe a DW floor tom, a Gretsch snare and a pair of Ufip Hihats? :D The maraccas has to be Latin Percussion, right... Anyway, I would love to hear thet LEGO beat! If you look really close you will find that the Gretsch snare is gone! It turned out to be dire goods and was sold the same afternoon the band had their gig for an offer she couldn´t refuse. Ahhh, those Gretsch snares...

New Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive
McBuddha replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Who's going to be buying 2 of these sets? I'd say I'm about 90% sure of buying two. Me two! (sorry, too) -
Thank you! I was hoping to see something like this these days. :) I think you did a really good job with your photos. However a shot of the booklet page with all the pieces would be really nice to have in addition to the list from the box. Thanks once again!

Age: 46 Age you started building: 3 Country: Sweden Occupation: Musician, composer, producer Married: Yeas Children: 2 daughters (5 & 7 years) Does your spouse or child/children build: Yes, especially the youngest kid. She´s as crazy as I am in LEGO. Do you have close friends who build: Yes Do you build together with your friends: No, not yet, but we are planning to build 2 Tower Bridges soon! :) Do you regularly attend Lego conventions: Yes, sort of. Just visited one, but planning to visit the next one, and the next... How much money do you spend on Lego product a year: 1500 EURO How much time do you spend building/playing a day: Maybe 2 hours a week, but spending a lot of time browsing for LEGO Favored theme/themes: Modular, City, Creator, Technic (and soon Friends) Do you primarily collect retail sets, build MOCs, or both? Collecting retail sets Did you experience a "dark age": Yes, I guess so... ...but am now out from the LEGO closet... ;) If yes, what age did you enter your "dark age" If it ever was a dark age, maybe around 16 What age did you exit your "dark age": Like the interest I have today, since last year after visiting Legoland (Billund): 45. Other hobbies (other toy collecting, sports, drawing etc.): Music, nature, beer In your own words what makes Lego bricks so special: For me, it´s just a very good way of meditation. Since I make crative descicions every day in my work, I just LOVE to follow the instructions very closely. Everything is thought out so well, my brain can relax and let go of the responible way of thinking. For me as a dad, it´s such a big gift to be able to encourage my youngest girl and support her natural interest for construction and creative thinking. May I PM you with a request for a personal interview: Of course! Cheers!

Has anyone seen a better picture of the largest set 5887 yet? The only one I can find is the one where all the sets are lined up below the single presentations... It sure looks nice...

Hehehe. My five year old girl, Signe, wants them ALL. NOW! :) We were drooling over the images this morning and she was VERY happy about all this. Even my dear wife, her mum, showed some pretty nice enthusiasm. As always, my bank account will be the emtpiest space in universe when the sets are released.... I really like the awesome colors. So many new details as well. The flower pieces, the lipsticks... ...we´re probably gonna build a cage of those for the HP dementors... :D Cheers from Sweden!

Mine is a combination of two polarities: 1. Mc... the ever so money oriented society we live in these days, in which McDonalds (IMO) is one of the representative trademarks. 2. Buddha... the possible ethic values I seem to appreciate and try to comply. McBuddha. My recording studio is called Studio McBuddha. If I would choose a specific member name for this forum it would probably be something like Nimisbricks, because I never think there could be too many bricks in life. :) Also Nimis happens to be a spectacular drift wood artwork built on a nature reserve very close to whee I live in Sweden. Kullabygden, Kullaberg. Anyways, McBuddha enjoys this forum a great deal!! :) Nice topic!

Hi Awesome Taylor! This is just magnificent! The pool table is my favourite. :) I admire your braveness, resizing them all into really cozy and neat houses. Well done! I wonder what you will be able to construct with the parts you took away! Cheers from Sweden -dB
