Nice entry. Looks very sleek indeed. The engines are WAY to small though! The best part of the MOC are the seats IMO. Lion

You're a fan of greebles, aren't ya? Well, I actually don't like Midi-Scale Sets. And not because of the missing figs... I just don't like the design. Lion

I'm glad you like it. Now that you mention it ...

You're right. I hope they'll change the color. They just have to use dark blue. I guess we should be happy that TLC didn't attach those modified engines of the "Azure Angel".

Thanks! Jep, I began to design the minifigs. I started with Yoda, tried to use a beard and it works. The candy-cane-saber was my first idea when I started to built him. Two things I can add to my list of things I want Lego to produce: - lego cheese (no cheese tiles or slopes ) - a lego pineapple - a printed candy-cane - a good Santa cap edit: Here is one bigger picture if you want to take a look at the details:

First of all: Merry Christmas, eurobricks! Well, this is my entry for the Xmas-Contest in the category “Xmas-Speeder”. I had fun building this because I could mix typical Star Wars elements with christmas feeling! History: Every year in christmas time the Padawan learners await eagerly the arrival of Santa Yoda and his assistant Windu. Although the Jedi are not allowed to own things they don’t need to live, the masters of the Jedi make an exception this time. With their CGC-Landspeeder (Christmas Gift Carrier) they bring gifts and happiness to the Jedi Temple. It features two gift containers on both sides of the cockpit. Therefore the gifts can be dropped easily. In addition Mace Windu drops candy out of a barrel. Pictures: Hope you like it! Greeting Lion

Agreed. I'm sure you mean "Avatar - The last Airbender". Lion

Nooooo! Those posts are not the Jedi way, KimT! Great entry, Inconspicuous. You chose a difficult set to Xmasify but you did well - and you're actually the first one who really changed the colours! Love the wings of the ETA-2 Fighter! Lion

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Darth Lion replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
@Tin7: I'm sure they will be available in all Toy'r'us stores worldwide. And I even think TLC is going to expand this. It's not unlikely that we could get them in smaller stores, too. -

Puhh.. I'm not sure. But I think early summer 2010 is very likely, isn't it? Yep. Just read his post on "Imperium der Steine", a German lego forum. He says, he got the pic from the newest German lego catalogue! -

Actually it should be "16 very special minfigs.....". Did you learn German btw? Great pic! Thanks, Oky! I wonder, why this packaging is in German though. I'm pretty sure I buy at least one of these. Looks like there are LOTS of special pieces some people would kill for. Lion -
Where's KimT with his "Stay on target" comment. I love all upcoming sets but my favourites are Swamp Speeder, Freeco Speeder and the battle packs! TLC did a great job designing the minfigures. Just ... have to ... get them!

Hehe, I don't want to pilot this ship. One hit and "BOOOOOM"! Interesting design though. I never would have thought of this idea. Thanks for sharing! Lion

You're not surprised, I'm jealous, right? But I have to ask: WHAT DID IT COST? Joke, don't tell it. Because otherwise, burglars would be on their way.... Great review! Maybe one day I get one of these, too.

Great idea! I'm going to join definately. I'm very happy, we don't had to wait so long for the next SW-Contest! Furthermore: building some nice MOCs is a good way to celebrate Christmas - whether you win or not. Now I have to think of some good SW scenes to Xmasify! Lion

I don't understand why nobody suggested a chrome red Royal Guard figure. That would be my favourite. Imagine all red parts would be chromy. (maybe even a glittering cape and energy pike) Greeting Lion

Wow, thank you very much for this nice feedback. It's my plan to build more like this. Greeting Lion
-
You're actually right. The only reason, why I used them is this Architecture Set. And it should have this simple touch. Thanks for the positive comments! I'm glad you like it.

Heyho, I built a mini MOC at the weekend: the Imperial monitoring station. To make sure the people are loyal, the Galactic Empire has to show, that nobody is able to hide. This station is built to spy the entire communication of a city. It is based on the "Architecture" style, for example the trees. Hope you like it. Greeting Lion Ps.: I know, it isn't completely proportional.

Well, I don't know. I thought of the same reasons you mentioned. But I actually read about problems with leg printings. At this time it was probably difficult to print those parts. (and expensive) That's what I guess.

The three SW sets you'd like TLG to release
Darth Lion replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Actually, there are two Jedi missing: Agen Kolar, the Zabrak Jedi with the blue lightsaber, who is strucked down by Palpatine at once. And Saesee Tiin, the Iktochi with the green lightsaber. My dream sets: 1. Kamino Clone "Production" Includes one small cloning chamber with clone embryos, one training centre with young clones and panels, an cantina and a shooting centre with holographic targets; figs: 4 clone students, 5 clone sharpshooters, 3 clones 2. Cloud City Includes Leias chamber, the prison, the torture room, the carbonite freezing complex, and the landing platform with slave 1; Minifigs: Boba Fett with Han Solo (Carbonite), 4 Storm Troopers, 6 Bespin Guards, Lando Calrissián, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Leia, Chewie 3. Droid/Geonosian Nantex-Class Starfighter with 4 Geonosians with new, detailed beam weapons, 2 sand, red battle droids, 1 blue super battle droid (better arms this time ) Yep, I know this sets are unlikely and would cost muuuuch money, but they would be AWESOME! -
Never heard of that rumors. And if I heard them, I wouldn't believe them. Lego never produced a game which has no series of products. They can. The thing is the price. I guess, that diorama would cost at least 800$! Are you sure? I'm not. This set would include around twenty figures. And the whole fellowship of the ring. Many people buy these sets only because of the figures. Therefore there would be no reason to buy other sets. Agreed. Maybe a set like this. Naturally in the "Lord of the Rings" style. For example Balin's tomb, but also a function, which lets the bridge of Khazad-Dûm fall apart or something.... Greetings Lion

WOW! Impressive creation with lots of detail. You used very creative building techniques. Love the cave under the castle. I wish I had so many of these trans white bricks. So where's your MOC expert title? Greetings Lion

How to build Sauron's Eye? I would love to see something like this. It would be kind of cool to have some UCS scale lotr sets like this. Greetings Lion Ps.: Yep, I know I would be broke if I bought the Orthanc but who cares?

Congratulations you guys! You've definately done a great job! Greetings Lion
