Looks great, I am impressed. I am looking to build my own car but atm I am limited to the bricks of the Supercar 8070 model.

Back when the studs models were new I thought they were really good looking. Looking at them now however I don't find them very nice; the 8880 Supercar is a good example. In my eyes it is like looking at a 10 year old video game, 10 years ago the graphics looked great but looking at the same game today it is not a very pretty sight. With that said, I can still enjoy looking at custom builds posted at this forum using studs beams though.

Bought and built it a couple of days ago and I really like this model. The only things I don't like are: As has been mentioned, the back is not the prettiest but still ok. You cannot steer the car with the steering wheel.

Hello fellow LEGO fans, My name is Daniel and I grew up with LEGO bricks constantly in my hands but unfortunately stopped when I reached my teens. I used to build all kind of stuff but I was mostly interested in Technic. By accident I found myself on LEGO's website last weekend and I saw the 8070 Supercar and just had to have it; the most recent model I had purchased before that was the 8445 Indy Storm back in 1999. After building the 8070 Supercar I don't intend to stop again but continue to buy the bigger Technic models both for the fun of building them but also for decorative purposes since I believe they look amazing nowadays. I remember drooling over the 8880 Supercar as a kid but could not afford to buy it so now I am back to make up for it. I just wish LEGO would remove the recommended upper age of their bigger models so I wouldn't have to feel so old. I am looking forward to discussing LEGO with all of you and look at all your astonishing custom builds.
