  1. Delivery or not, Jim said just a couple of hours ago, the higher-ups aren't happy with this, it wasn't supposed to be like that.
  2. It is because officially it's supposed to be released on the 1st on June. It should not be available, but some stores and so on are breaking the rules.
  3. Posting leaks again... ugh not nice. And we just had a conversation about how it wasn't supposed to be like that.
  4. I would love to get a call from the store on the 1st so I could swing by and pick it up right after work. Getting quite excited only few more days...
  5. It's likely same in most stores, but some employees didn't care or wanted to be "edgy" and leaked it out. While others are waiting until the official reveal.
  6. I wish. If I'd get it on 1st, I know I'd have amazing weekend. I'm also thinking of rebuilding porsche back to stock version for visual and gearbox comparison.
  7. Yeah they didn't tell anything about the price either. And we're used to getting stuff earlier here, sometimes even earlier than Jim, like last year.
  8. Yeah... I'd get it if it was some random mall toy store, but official store... inexcusable. I went to our local LEGO store and they pretty much deny it's existence, except for the fact that we can preorder it and wait.
  9. Quite sad, but I guess it's impossible for everyone to sign an NDA so they'd be liable. Especially the employees of the stores, but even so, they did manage to keep for so long, in general sense I'd say it was success.
  10. Actually the hope is that it doesn't make "gearbox dying" sounds like Posche did, not the exhaust xD
  11. We have a few days left before it's fully revealed and I think we've talked most speculations already all that's really left is to wait for release and the only purpose of the thread for a while now has been to talk about leaks or speculate.
  12. Might as well lock it... people just don't learn and post that stuff here... @Jim
  13. No, you guys don't get it, just look at the pictures more closely or look at how it was done with Porsche, it will not be the same, but very close.
  14. If you've seen all the images, you could have seen that rear wheels have calipers too
  15. If I was at lego, I'd probably try to seek out the store... I mean I love the leaks, seeing them, but damn it's ruining all the fun of reveal...
  16. Love than packaging, same as I did with Porsche. Dammit... I can't wait now
  17. Technic of old and LEGO of old is gone, so we'll have to deal with "color vomit", plus the instructions are for 1 - 3 pieces at the time and not a whole set of pieces, it's just how it's made now. Plus if it was on the outside yeah it would be concern, but most of the pieces, especially the lime ones are inside and won't be visible and except for a few new pieces it won't be hard to replace during modding process One concerning thing for me is the AWD and central diff... as I've said before it seems like there is a perfect spot for it, but I guess we'll know in a few days. Still a day one purchase though
  18. And yet they added it to 42070... And outside of it doing fine, the main problem for Chiron is the real vehicle has AWD and it would be nice if it wasn't an afterthought Or of course we're not seeing everything in there, maybe a 2nd level to it? as there seems to be a perfect spot for central diff in the black square aka 64179
  19. Yeah, kinda bummer if it's not AWD
  20. Central Diff does seem MIA from the pics, which could mean a very weird thing... of it not being there at all.
  21. Oh my I just saw the rear of it, it's beautiful... I'm so glad I pre-ordered it, can't wait to get it now even more.
  22. Ok, 3rd will do xD But well I just wonder when it'll hit the stores I had no news from my local store where we get stuff early usually. This thing has been hidden nicely!
  23. I think one more important question is how much input did Bugatti officials had in the process of making it.
  24. Reserved one at the store here and if all goes well and we get stuff early here as usual... all I have to do is wait... Don't care about gaps myself, I still see 8880 and later 8448 as the pinnacle of Technic sets, so if they make something that looks good and has a bit better functions than the Porsche, I'll be happy to find a place for the model.
