Well I just ordered my first SW Lego sets! Ended up getting the At-At and Xwing so I had more than enough to get the Arf Fig. Not sure what I'll do with that, probably just sell it, but it's free so I couldn't pass it up. BTW, how stupid is it that I'm really crossing my fingers I win that Falcon!! LOL!

Cool, thanks! Do they hit in Europe first normally? I know the falcon is listed for preorder on amazon uk but not on the US site yet.

I'm new to Lego and even newer to Lego SW so forgive me if this is commonly known...Are the dates listed on the OP of this thread normally accurate, or is it like with action figures (if it says June they really mean 3rd, possibly 4th quarter)? I'm really looking forward to the new Falcon and I want to make sure I can buy as soon as I see it, which means I can't buy all the other sets I want, LOL!

I just got the Flagship and now can't wait to have this one. The size and deck on the flagship prompted me to get that one first but every pic I see of this one makes me want it more! It just looks sooo evil. A must have!

Finally got this all put together last night. Took me over 7 hours but this set is soooooo awesome! I already ordered my 4 extra cannons from bricklink and I might replace a couple of the smooth panels with 1x4's for the deck to attach more securely. Other than that it's time to start assembling a crew for this bad boy. I think I'm going to get some pirates in red and blue vests to use as sailors to compliment the soldiers they included. I also want to grab some extra flesh toned body parts so I can swap out the yellow faces whenever it's going up against the Queen Anne (that I'll hopefully one day own as well!).

After just getting back into Lego a couple weeks ago I was wishing I hadn't missed out on all the Indy sets. Today I happened to run into a TRU Express at lunch and ran across a Fighter Plane Attack set. It was marked 54.99 but I figured I would ask them to scan it since it was an older set, just in case. It rang up full price but the clerk tried pulling it up online, since he couldn't find it he offered me $15 off! So I'm now the proud owner of a cool Indy set. Set me back on my funds for the Queen Anne's Revenge tho!

Picked this set up last night and put it together tonight. Don't really feel qualified to "review" it since it's the first Lego set I've put together in over 2 decades, but personally I had a lot of fun building it. I was able to pick it up during the TRU sale along with another for a friend so at $15 it's a better value for me. I probably would've passed at full price since the main draw of this one for me was Barbossa. However I'm really glad I have the hatless Jack as well and the skeleton is a nice touch.

Thanks everyone! My Flagship arrived today!! A friend is coming over tomorrow and we're going to get started on it, can't wait!

Besides the ships (Black Pearl, Dutchman, Interceptor, Dautless) I'm down for anything that gives us specific characters in minifig form. As far as the ships...anyone else concerned that a lego Dutchman might not be able to pull off the coral/organic look of the ship?

This is the one ship I had as a kid and now that I'm back into lego I was checking out the value of it too. As high as the nostalgia is running for me on this one it just doesn't make sense to buy it for more than I can buy the Queen Anne's Revenge, or even the Black Pearl in a few months. On a side note, I texted my brother yesterday to see if he still had any of our old legos (hoping to find some of the hull or sails and start rebuilding it) and he said our mom threw them all out a few years ago!!

Well I wasn't a member yesterday when I actually bought it but yesterday I ordered and Imperial Flagship from Amazon!! It'll be here tomorrow for my bday! And tonight I bought a couple Fountain of Youth sets from TRU for myself and a friend. They raised they're prices on all the POTC stuff by 10% (sucks!) but it was still marked at 19.99 so I got that price.

Hi all! I'm brand new here and just thought I'd post a hello. I'm also pretty much brand new Lego as well. I've collected action figures my whole life and once upon a time even had a Lego pirate ship (the Black Seas Barracude iirc) but haven't collected any more Legos in about 2 decades. Last week a friend asked me to keep an eye out for the POTC stuff hitting TRU and I ran across them for him...and was immeadiatly hooked again. Less than a week later I already have an Imperial Flagship on the way to my house am trying to save enough for a Queen Anne's Revenge set. Anyway...good to meet you all!
