  1. Re the Chinese image on reddit, it does look beautiful, but that price is astronomical, exchanges to about USD $1,275
  2. Re "10.01.2017" do the Danish also use the American date format, or is this just another case of the power of the world's biggest economy ?
  3. Someone will be in trouble for that, you can imagine the conversation "I told you to change the title before you uploaded it!!!"
  4. If $800 USD results in $1,300 AUD price, that would be appalling On current exchange rate $800 USD is roughly $1,000 AUD It should be $1,000 but given the pricing of Star Wars sets in Australia, maybe $1,100
  5. With Star Wars Lego I have only bought vehicles (excluding a couple of battle packs and a buildable Vader), the Battle on Ahch-To playset is likely to be my first playset, and prior to the announcement of the Wave 1 sets was one of my most anticipated (along with First Order Star Destroyer). Just focusing on what we saw in the teaser and BTS footage and not going into rumour/spoiler territory, besides the definite figures included of Luke and Rey, could also see Chewie, R2 and some porgs. With a focus on training , there is the Jedi tree and those books, a lot to be excited about.
  6. I am very interested in getting the Falcon, whether or not I can justify spending that amount of money on a Lego set, is another matter
  7. Did a really good job, only nitpick is the mix of grey and black in the Lego sets, v the colouring in the official shots of the different parts of the ship Though this likely more a limitation of the available colours (i.e. the grey is not quite dark enough)
  8. I won't be buying BB-8 but across some other forums I have seen him as quite popular, it is seen as an affordable UCS, "UCS lite" Re the FO Star Destroyer and AT-AT, both are must buys for me, and whilst not being "original" is not ideal for a Lego set, in the movie it doesn't bother me at all, the First Order have come from remnants of the Empire after a galactic war so it does make sense that they have just primarily addressed weaknesses of the original.
  9. Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter has the outer wings as black, I am sure some of the early concept art had them as panels of a light colour, i.e. an off white/beige. Hopefully this time (as compared to TFA) Lego has the colouring correct in regards to Kylo's vehicle
  10. 75190 - First Order Star Destroyer is a must buy for me, but the inclusion of Phasma and moreso a Praetorian Guard would have really put the icing on the cake I get that Wave 2 will be out a few months later than these sets, but I think the exclusion of Luke is a big mistake.......or maybe that is me talking as an AFOL and not the target audience who see Luke as just "some really old guy"
  11. Before we knew the set names I thought the Crait Skimmer was a certainty, must be in Wave 2.
  12. Wow, as Trump would have said "thank you to the Russians" that Praetorian Guard figure looks very interesting, quite cool and I am not generally a fan of the buildable figures
  13. We have seen with other Star Wars Lego sets characters appearing in sets they don't necessarily have a relationship with, i.e. to spread the mini-figs around and make some sets more attractive, there was "hope" that this would be the case for Luke
  14. Like others, very disappointed with the lack of Luke. No doubt Wave 2 will include a Battle/Training on Ahch-To set Also very surprised re the lack of Crait Skimmer, again an almost certainty for Wave 2 Without seeing the pictures for all sets, I will get 75179- Kylo Rens TIE Fighter 75189- First Order Heavy Assault Walker 75190- First Order Star Destroyer - a must buy for me
  15. Cheers SVL Looking forward to Yoda's Hut, trying to think how another Vader buildable figure will be different to the previous one
  16. Agree, I expected a molded head for Snoke
  17. Really impressed by the Kylo minifig. Whilst 75190 - First Order Star Destroyer is my most wanted set from the TLJ wave (and number 2 Lego set for the year after Saturn V), 75179 - Kylo's TIE Fighter is certainly competing with 75189 - First Order Walker for my number 2 set. Without seeing the actual set but based on the Kylo mini-fig, details of the rumours of the other mini-figs in the set, and the concept art of his ship Going to be an expensive September
  18. Kylo TIE guess coming with Kylo, Luke, and a Praetorian guard ?
  19. When was 75179 confirmed ? So the Resistance Bomber has lots of big pieces and BB-8, lots and lost of small ones, not really surprising
  20. TIE Bomber sounds perfect , it is also in my top 5 most wanted (Tantive IV UCS- re-release, Cloud City, Nebulon-B, and Vader's Castle ) For Naboo Royal Starship, chrome exterior ?
  21. In "shocking" news people are discussing about pictures and rumours for 2017 Lego Star Wars sets, in a forum named "Lego Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumours" ha ha Worth a try ?
  22. To misquote a certain black armoured individual "The sanctimony is strong with this one"
  23. I really hope they don't, I on the other hand wish there was an economical way for Lego to directly or official outsourced production of "retired sets" at a "price" (above original retail price). For me the more people that can enjoy the sets they want the better. I can not stand Lepin, but I do have some understanding of people buying retired sets copied by Lepin. With UCS sets at least we are seeing a re-release with the Death Star, Snowspeeder and most certainly the MF (and I hope the Tantive IV and Death Star 2 at some stage)
