Canon wise the empires technology is also just updated and upgraded republic technology. Plus when has logic really applied to star wars? I honestly wish these movies had more original designs, the bomber looks cool but isn't really awe inspiring or interesting. I hope that there's at least one new design that is not only new but has that actual star wars feel to it, rogue one gave us the U wing so I'm hopeful

The tank has appeared in the RotS novel and is Canon unless it contradicts the movie. However, it's Canon state is irrelevant as it's still a good set and has nothing to do with this threads topic.

The body is 60p and the head is 43p so you're really paying 1.03pounds plus whatever the legs cost for the figure, hopefully this reduces the polybag prove on the aftermarket but I may leave mine sealed and just buy the pieces alone

People are now selling the battlepacks, Darth vaders transformation, the republic hovertank and the rathtar escape sets on ebay. There are a few from the UK as well as in other parts of the EU and yes they've already overpriced everything
