Maybe mr Art O´Detoes new building will rise above Cash? Mrs and jr Cash are enjoying the view from 9th floor balcony, under watchful eyes. Mr Cash is having a business negotiation with his associates. More and bigger pictures in Flickr. This MOC is made for Finnish Palikkatakomo LUG events in spring 2012. First event was 22.-23. But since I got my idea before seeing his work i decided to keep it. MOC Title: Fishing the Red October Minifigure from Series 5: Ice Fisherman This is deleted scene from the movie and book. Navigating seems to have gone horribly wrong as the captain can see from the periscope. More pictures including ice fisherman. Amazing MOCs in this contest, good luck to all!

  10. Hello all, me and my son took part in small TLG event in Finland. Currently open (july 2011) in Ideapark shopping center in Lempäälä, Tampere. Our creation was inspired by Finnish team winning icehockey championship in May 2011. New try with smaller pictures: Check the big pictures from our gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=476476 No fancy technics but a great moment in time :)
  11. Hello all, I am a father of 7 year old boy and emerging from my own "dark age". I am now a member of Finnish LUG: Palikkatakomo and just took part with them in exhibition, in Model Expo 2011 (15. - 17. April Helsinki). I am still amazed how active AFOL community actually is and how unbelievable MOCs are build all around the world. Being newbie I try to gather as much information and useful techniques as I can. Luckily back in history my mother kept me in order and I still have about 30 sets in good shape from 1976-1985. Ok my son has already over 60 sets... but such is evolution I guess. I cannot wait to get back in building, what an excellent way to relief stress and be active with my son. Links to our expo modeland one "self portrait". Happy to be an AFOL. Jani
