  1. @ freakwave, the pneumatics are actually quite strait on. The switches are right behind the blade so nothing special going on there.
  2. Absolutely love the picture with the big T-72M logo, same angle as the tank .
  3. It look way better now. The boddy is a bit more smooth and filled up. Great job!
  4. Looks interesting, have an idea already, lets see if I can make it work .
  5. Your groomer looks good! The flaps of my tiller can lift to but that's manual. And as promised, The warning lights
  6. @ freakwave, you surly seem to know a lot about them. Are you a big fan of snowgroomers or? About the height of the cabin, I had a drawing with the dimensions in studs on it so it should be just about right. however the compartment behind the cabin (where the receivers are) is indeed a bit to high. The blade, Yes completely black would be just perfect. However my mom and dad get a bit frustrated when they see the amount of money I spend to Lego, so I can't buy the parts necessarily. The blade can move up and down from the "floor" to 5 cm above. Tiller, I know this isn't the best part I couldn't find much reference material so it was just imagination. Extra functions are hard to build in. first I only have 2 RC motors left and 1 XL motor. Second all the switches and receiver-channels are already in use. Driving, On wood it drives perfectly it can even crawl up the remainings of my liebherr Crane. However all the studs create an awful lot of friction when used outdoors making turning extremely difficult (this is on materials as grass, sand and stone).
  7. I didn't know this was a common design around here. But it's a quite easy one so it's quite possible. The trick for keep your motors in good shape is to not to keep te power on for to long. Not doing that I can imagine you could ruin your motors
  8. Anyone know's how to show a pdf file on the forum?
  9. @ P4trickvH, Dimensions are 46 x 75 cm with equipment @ olaf9198, Yes the warning lights can flash. (The flashing is turned on and off remotely) @ dhc6twinotter, No pictures now will make them later. would have to make a new one since its all covered up by the cabin. @ basbase, I'm planning to. don't know when however. It's quite difficult to find a good location, since there is now snow around .
  10. Hello, My latest model is a PistenBully 600 full romote controlled and with detachable equipment. anyway now the important bit: Back. Side. Top view. Detailed interior. Off its tracks. The tracks. The whole model features: RC drive RC warning lights RC "3 stage" lights RC lower and lift back equipment RC lower and lift front equipment RC tilt front equipment RC turn front equipment Hope you like it. (more foto's)
  11. Eh... A dark red truck with lime green details? My first guess would be some sort of MAN. Looking good so far .
  12. Well for the drive motors you could use 4 battery packs. And the other 2 motors can be attached to them if you just don't run them all at the same time. For the lights you could use an extra battery pack. But is you're model that big or is it just brute force? (foto's would be nice )
  13. It's so big, jus a shame it isn't realy related to a real crane (is it?) but i'm loving it
  14. Those cranes are insane huge, GREAT!
  15. No the doors can't open including a tilted cab. Due to design problems and otherwise weak structures these functions were left out. And about the scale, I started with a chassis that could have become anything just wanted it to be as fast and small as possible. I chose those wheels since they perfectly fit into the RC motor so I wouldn't need gears for that, front wheels are the same size for easy constructing. The medium motor for steering is about 2 or 3 studs higher the the front tires so I chose to build a truck to hide that motor. Otherwise there would have been a bump on the hood.
  16. My next creation, a small and fast Scania racer. Powered by a RC motor and return to center steering. The model is quite front heavy, leaving the rear wheels with less grip as usual. This gives a nice effect when driving on a smooth surface. A video of the moc will be launched in about 2 or 3 weeks. More Foto's
  17. The boom has 2 sections. The steering is done by to turntables on top of each other and a 8 tooth gear connected to them. This gear is then connected to the warning light in the middle. More pictures can be seen on flickr. I'm planning to make a video but the computer I'm using now doesn't allow me to edit videos so I have to wait for the new one, witch will be here in about 2 weeks.
  18. A small crane build to participate in the Technic Challenge of Juni. Couldn't participate tho due to a lighting strike... Nevertheless the Challenge has forced me to build a fun and working crane. It's a fictional crane that's used in underground mines to carry stuff from here to there. In the back section we find most of the controls, a v6 and a pneumatic pump. Also on the picture you can see 2 pneumatic switches, a little explanation: As usual I didn't have enough space to put the cylinder properly so it could push the arm up all by itself. Therefor I had to insert a second small cylinder to push the arm up a bit so the big cylinder could take over. As you can see the arm won't go up here since the cylinder will only push it forwards. In this position the arm will rise since the cylinder also applies a vertical force. Other functions are four wheel drive and suspension possible by a vertical turntable in the middle of the crane. Well that's about it. More foto's:on flickr
  19. One of the best lego robots I've ever seen Also nice how you left the technic bare at place like the tracks, it gives a raw look
